As a small business owner I receive quite literally dozens of marketing calls daily. Everyone has a pitch or a gimmick. What caught my attention was that they were not trying to sell me anything. I spoke to Zach and he was very polite and professional. He made it clear that he would not try and sell me anything and simply asked if I would listen to a 1 minute pitch and if my interest was piqued, schedule an appointment to speak with a specialist (salesman) when it was convenient. Zach was true to his word and kept his pitch short and it made sense so I scheduled a call with Dillon for a couple of days later. Dillon called on time and we discussed what has and hasn't worked for me in the past. He gave me an excellent rundown on who they were as a company and did not avoid my questions. Dillon then made a recommendation how to promote my business and it was actually an approach that I had not heard before. The program did not require a contract and was quite affordable so I tried it. The process was clear and structured and to my amazement generated new business for me almost immediately. I am out hundreds of dollars because my server has been shut down due to another website on the same server having too much traffic. Brandefined said it was my SSL first. Now it's going to take 1-10 days to investigate the suspicious website, and my tour company can't sell any tickets for upcoming tours and events. I had to pay them $245 to be moved to another server, and do the move myself! They should be paying me for the business I have lost during their server shut down. They didn't bother to tell me or anyone else they shut the server down - an email would have been appropriate. If I could give 0 stars I would. Moving to another company ASAP. read more

One of the primary reasons I come down to the Portland Metro, is business. About once a quarter, I make time to check in on my projects and plan for the upcoming quarter. This group never disappoints and exceeds expectations in every sense. My 3rd website is in production and near completion and all the ads have been tailored for the upcoming season. A good marketing partner is hard to find for a small business with limited budget. The folks at Brandefined patiently worked with me to come up with an online advertising plan that would work for both of us. I don't think a one star is appropriate for this company. -4 would be better. Extremely pushy salespeople. I had endless unsolicited calls and text messages from a guy named Chris Guy trying to get me to sign up for Brandefined services. On multiple occasions, I politely told him I was with clients and I would call them back at my convenience. He completely disrespected my time and continued to call and text until I gave them my credit card. They 'immediately' charged my card!... $5,029.00. I asked to see some real estate websites; I was told they don't share because of client privacy, that concerned me. I was finally given their portfolio and the TWO real estate websites were terrible. That was an even greater concern. Four days later I received a call from Michael Hamrues who was supposed to be their tech guy, it was basically a time-consuming gag session which pushed my alarm button. I emailed Michael the next day and said I would like a refund, Chris Guy replied and said basically, too bad, we don't do refunds. I was NEVER given any disclosures nor did I sign any contracts. Now I can't get anyone to answer the phone or return my email. They didn't provide me with ANY services and I'm out over $5,000.00. As for my husband's website, we told them it was super important to get it done quickly of which they promised. He finally got a call from them a month later. NO website started, he also asked for a refund, they said they would get back to him. That was a week ago, no word. Fortunately, I have multiple attorneys that love to spar so I won't have to pay for litigation but for those of you who are not so fortunate, PLEASE BEWARE!! I wish I had paid more attention to the negative reviews. I was told that I would be able to target 2000 buyers in my area. $700 later in 3 months and no results! I told them I wasn't happy after the first two months and that I was not going to stay on. They billed me another $100 and then said I would not get anymore ads?? So upset that I believed their load of crap about marketing...the ads were OK but I probably could get more bang for the buck just buying boosts from Facebook. I am working on getting the credit from this last month but probably won't and won't get what I paid for. read more

1 is star too generous but the lowest there is on this scale. I bought a package covering a specified amount of services. Biggest mistake I made. Once they had my money there was no incentive to work for my business. I spent lots of time re-writing their marketing content due to errors in grammar and poor workmanship. Work was sloppy and the lead, Chris Guy, kept pushing their other services. Why would I buy other services when their work was so poor? You don't pay an ad agency to babysit their work. In all fairness once Chris Guy joined we found errors made in ads that were done by his predecessor that I had no way of seeing myself. I gave them a 2nd chance after talking to Chris Guy. They charged me $500.00 for a service I never received, and then had some made up contract to send to my credit card company when I disputed the charge, which I never signed or agreed to.
