She took her time and shared her expertise with my dad to pick out the correct device for him. Then the mask didn't fit him well in practice, so she took her time to make sure he received the right mask for his needs and she even followed up with him. We found her to be patient, kind, knowledgable and concerned for his needs. He was very happy with her service and we highly recommend Jashan for other clients.

For my family, he has treated sports injuries for the kids, and chronic postural muscle imbalance for my husband.

I was told to change my mattress, couch, chairs and way in which I work and that my problem was posture and that this was "mechanical". As I physician, I knew this was poor advice and the assessment was inadequate. My own physician discovered I had a herniated disc which physio should be skilled to diagnosis and manage. However, physio here gave no suggestions, no exercizes and almost no therapy while in severe pain. I went to a different physiotherapist thereafter and they were able to provide adequate treatment. I do not recommend this place as they are not competent at all.

Going to the dentist is unpleasant, painful and nerve wracking no matter where you go. There is…read morenothing that can make shoving xray plates in you mouth, injections in your gums, teeth drilling and pulling pleasant. The only thing that can take it all away is being knocked out; but since anesthesia carries the risk of you not ever waking up again, I think I will pass on that one. The sign is misleading and says Great Smile Denture Clinic but in reality it's a full blown dental office. The office personnel are warm, welcoming and have a great sense of humor. The office manager keeps gorgeous orchids in the treatment rooms and you can request for the TV to be turned on if you need a distraction. HOLD UP! They have a massage chair to help you relax and they give you sun glasses to protect you from the bright light and sprays of water. My hygienist Mildred is gentle and when it comes time for xrays she knows how to work in a small mouth like mine. My dentist is Dr. Jackie. She is a wiz when it comes to extracting difficult and broken teeth. She just doesn't come in and start fiddling inside your mouth, she studies your xrays beforehand and plans her approach. Now I am a difficult case because my mouth is small and I have a wonky jaw from a childhood injury. Dr. Jackie knew what to do, just when I was settling down in the massage chair she already had popped out my problematic back tooth. Tips to make the dental treatments tolerable: - eat a little something beforehand so you can take Ibuprofen right before the procedure (liquid gelcaps work the fastest and you can get them at Dollarama). Disclaimer: make sure it's ok with your doc. -put an ice pack wrapped in a light cloth over your jaw and cheek to numb the pain afterward when the Novocain wears off. - as soon as you are allowed, eat something soft and cold. I always get ice cream. THE best part of going to the dentist!

I was recommended by a friend of mine to look into orthopedic inserts/shoes for my lower back pain…read moreand to help with my posture so I booked an appointment with Kinetic Konnection in Oakville. The location is a bit tricky to find as you cannot see them from the street. I would say it is much easier to drive into the plaza from Trafalgar as they are just behind Loblaws almost across the parking lost from Canadian Tire. The employees at the front desk were very friendly and knowledgeable. The office itself is open and very bright; I even noticed a few snacks were available if one needed something to munch on. The Chiropodist - Alexandra, was very approachable. She made me feel comfortable and explained the different signs she was looking for as she assessed my gait and my feet. The entire initial assessment only lasted about 20-30 mins.I should receive my orthopedic inserts in about 2 weeks and I am looking forward to picking them up. They offer a large variety of custom fabrics/supports for the inserts as well as running shoes, Birkenstocks and other bracing/supportive instruments. Based on this first visit, I would recommend visiting Kinetic Konnection if you require any kind of support.
