Just yesterday, September 28, the check cleared as he ended up purchasing the car from her. 9 months!!! At first he was going to auction the car. One auction on February 24th and he thought he could get more for it. I am shocked that ABA sill has garnered 4 1/2 stars on this platform. I will tell anyone that will listen about the this experience. I personally went to ABA twice to confront Brian. He would not return the text messages that my daughter would send him. We will no loner take our cars to ABA for any service. I honestly hope that Brian gets his act together at some point but he displayed terrible service.

The staff is always friendly and very helpful about basic maintenance and services for your vehicle, which I appreciate. My favorite aspect of this location is that they allow you to supply your own preferred oil and oil filter; this is a huge plus for me as it saves the time and mess of doing it myself in the driveway. While the cost for an oil change with customer-supplied parts has gone up a little over time, it is still well worth it in my opinion for the convenience and speed. Walking around like top dog. The whole scene put me on edge, and made me distrust this establishment. They still managed to make mistakes on a simple oil change. They failed to idle the vehicle and let the fresh oil settle and recheck levels. And they failed to remove the engine shield cover, the whole underneath was drenched with oil. When I brought it up one of the gentleman, he said everything was okay. I had to go home and check their work. The oil level seems fine, but the underneath is bathed in old motor oil. You're supposed to remove the engine guard prior to removing the filter!!! I don't trust this establishment as it is. I'll go to another Jiffy Lube in town because of this.

After dealing with the less-than-effective automated system, and being transferred to two different individuals, I was finally transferred to the location. Needless to say, I was frustrated when a gentleman, by the name of Jack, answered the phone. He patiently listened to my frustration and effectively answered my questions. In short, he saved a long-time Oil Can Henry customer. I was heading to another firm. When I arrived, he introduced himself and made me forget that which had me on the brink of going elsewhere. In an era when customer service is increasingly a thing of the past, Jack and his staff are a refreshing reminder that it still exists. If you need a tune-up, head over to the Tanasbourne location. They'll do you right. And ask for Jack! Memo to Ryan: If I owned a competing firm\location, I would do everything I could to hire Jack away from you.

I'm done with this business. I trusted them for years of servicing my two vehicles. But no more…read more Why: Vehicle 1, they did not fill up on the oil change (1.5 qts low, did not even register on the dipstick), they did not install a fresh oil drain plug gasket (so now oil is leaking from the plug), they left oil dripping down my engine block, and failed to notice two cracked hoses. Vehicle 2, all the same issues as Vehicle 1, plus in addition they did not install the proper size oil filter (they used a smaller volume / shorter filter than recommended.). There were a couple other significant issues they caused that wasted my time mitigating but I don't want to elaborate. I'll just do oil & fluid & filter changes myself, save a bunch of $$, and know it's being done right.

Came in for a new transmission, broken AC and a leaking tire. Was told it would be a week, which sounds good as that was every time line we were told from other places we called. A week goes by and the parts still weren't in, again I mean that's just shipping and it happens, can't really blame the shop. After a week and a half they install the new transmission, but said there was something wrong so they kept working on it. Another week goes by and they say they need to order ANOTHER trans. At this point we are very frustrated as we needed this vehicle back 3 weeks ago. But I mean who knows what is really going on so we just hang tight. Finally, a MONTH later, we get a text that the trans was replaced and good to go but they didn't have time to fully fix the ac. Didn't have time? You had it for a month and decided until the last day to look at the AC. They replaced the blower motor but said they would have to take the whole thing out and didn't have time for it, so it was ultimately a temporary fix for a full charge. After asking for a price break down he gave us $150 off. Woopie after a $7,500 ordeal that didn't feel sufficient. They then charged our card for the second half of our bill after we explicitly said "we do not authorize this charge" and we also don't remember saying they could save the card on file..... if that wasn't all enough to make us never come back we then find out the tire was never fixed after it went flat on the road a few days later. To which the guy says "looks like I forgot" !!! Now the AC stopped working because again it was never actually fixed in the first place. Truly unacceptable from start to finish. They clearly do not care about doing a good job and just want your money. He asked us multiple times to pay the remaining balance before we even picked up the vehicle or had any work done. Avoid at all costs.

It didn't fix all the problems because I had to take it in and I gave them the code data I got from my scan tool. They found the problem in the engine using a borescope and the front desk lady told me I should get it checked out at fuel monkey who works on engines all the time. I did and the Jeep is on the way to working right. They cost a bit but their mechanics are alright, everything they said made after the years I have been working on cars myself. No scams and they give you paperwork to show you just what they are doing. Maybe one caveat they wanted 400 for a new car battery, I laughed and said no I can put a new battery on myself. They charged up my old battery anyways which was a nice touch. Kind of a small shop but they let me park my jeep there while I got a hold of fuel monkey to fix the engine. Good people or at least I think so.
