Renters beware! Rented a lift recently from here only to…read moreget it set up and myself extended up in the air and find the controls not working to bring myself back down. Good thing I had someone on the ground to use the ground controls on the unit which Thankfully worked to bring me back down. Had the machine approximately an hour though accomplished nothing with it as I couldn't see having to have it operated for me from someone on the ground for what was to be a good full day of work to be done. So I promptly returned it and explained the issue. Wasted another hour roughly going through testing of controls with the owner at his facility given only that it must've been going out of level slightly, enough to cause the control issue ( though the unit lights always indicated it was level, also when I got home I looked at pad placement locations, no sinkage at all, in the slightest) then expected to take the lift back out and try it again. No thank you I tried it long enough to realize something was clearly not functioning properly. Ended up having to pay $50. Partial fee for the time out as he claimed he could've rented it to someone else, I did bring up that for the past cpl weeks driving by it's been on the lot everyday, he told me no it was out yesterday and goes out again tomorrow, I took him at his word though I did look at his desk calendar when back inside his shop, where my name was down for the lift and saw that was an outright lie, it was not written down on either of those days. I held my tongue though wanted to say really, funny you don't have it on your calendar as going out. ...(remember where liars go, you'll profit nothing in the end) also drove by the next day, mid-day; still there, odd it could both be rented out yet still on the lot. You've now eared this review and my word of mouth to all who'll listen and I know many people in the area having lived here for decades and trust I'll even go out of my way to tell strangers in addition to friends and family. My final word of caution, rent from elsewhere or possibly regret not having done so.
