As I spent 2 weeks in Texas my best friend attempted to take me here... the first time we tried to go it was closed we just didn't know but the second time we were able to actually experience there concoctions. My drink was amazing and deliciously sweet. If your from TX or have ever visited you know it's humid. They offer outdoor seating under large trees with a lot of shade. This seating area could have been even more of an experience if there were misting water lines installed. There weren't any sanitizer wipes to clean the chairs or tables which immediately made me decide sitting wasn't an option. The sitting area however is very cute and definitely photo worthy. Each drink is made to order and does take about 10 mins depending on the complexity of the one chosen. If you're looking for a sweet treat on a Saturday then take a ride to Brain Freeze.

We was just out yelp(ing) and tik toking and ran across this place .. they were so nice . The drink were sooooo fresh and good (like where do y'all get y'all fruit ??) also I got parfait yogurt .. my daughter and bestie had a great time and also good for pictures .. only down fall is I didn't know where to park so I had to park across the street and I hate crossing streets . But later found out I can park on their lot (didn't see how to get to it) but it's a 10/10 for us we will be back . I

my favorite place in pasadena. so fresh every time. these people really know what they are doing.

Pineapple filled with candy and fruit that is absolutely delicious !

We love the delicious summer drinks offered here. Prices are high, but the strawberry lemonade in the pineapple with fresh fruit and candy is really a work of art!

I saw a few of my friends on yelp posting about this place last year. So I bookmarked it. I figured I would never make the drive all the way out to Pasadena. However, after moving closer to the area, the drive isn't nearly as far. I gotta say, this place makes some very instagram worthy drinks (ie: colorful). When you pull up, it's a small stand, in the front of a storage unit? There is additional parking in the back, but it's not huge by any means. The ONLY ACCEPT CASH, so be warned before you make the drive. They have pictures of the drinks on the wall with the prices next to it, (does not include tax). We ordered the Avalanche mix (mango and strawberry), this one you can think of a snowcone/shaved ice, with fresh mango and strawberry slices, covered in condensed milk, straight forward but damn delicious. We also got one of the masonmangoswim? This is their variation on the mangonada. So expect a mango type smoothie, with fresh mango slices, along with a tangy, spicy mix, topped with candy and a tamarind stick. The prices are a bit high, but it's good, and you get to keep the mason jar. If you ask nicely, you can get the lids too for free. I would take people here, as it makes for a great picture and tasty treat, especially in the summer time.

ONLY ACCEPTS CASH - Make sure you have the exact amount. Sometimes they "don't" have cash back because they do not have small/large bills. Forgot which it was of the two. Brain Freeze Sno-Cones & Snacks is a great, fun spot for the summer time. Great for all ages, kids would enjoy this place the most. Everything is fresh and made from order. Parking is plentiful and available behind Brain Freeze. This one black car was blocking access to the other parking space, which was annoying. Please be cautious about how you park for others here. I can't say when to arrive because the wait time can alter drastically. I had to make a run for cash because I didn't know it was cash only. Once I arrived again, the wait time was extended to 20 minutes instead of 10 minutes. Within the 8 minute run, 4 people arrived with many standing in line behind me afterwards. My turn to order, I ordered #4 - Piñalada which was $16~ with tax. It takes approximately 30 minutes to make this. It was essentially a pineapple cut in the middle with pineapple pieces and your choice of drink. I chose the strawberry lemonade, which Brain Freeze is known for. The amount of strawberry lemonade in the pineapple was saddening. It was fun eating the sour critters and fruit slices on top of the pineapple. If you order an item with a mason jar, you can keep it. Everything is around $10, give or take $5. Is it worth it? Eh, not in my opinion. It's nice to try it once and drive to Pasadena and say been there, done that. If I was to come again, I would order something else next time like #13-#17 on the menu. Some items are unique but not others because I've seen other establishments selling similar things.

I am BIG on customer service so while your product MAY be stellar how I am treated is equally as important. It is the difference between me being a frequent flier or ghosting. Anyhow, by the end of my customer experience I felt a bit better. Esthetically, these drinks are amazing. A true work of art. They make for AMAZING pics. Taste wise, I wasn't a big fan of the lemonade. I like more of a tangy strawberry lemonade and this one missed the mark with my taste buds. Though this is a one of a kind shop, I probably won't return. Really cute though, if you like buying things to take photos with them ‍

(From L to R:) Xtra Special Strawberry Lemonade + Mixed Strawberry & Mango Avalanche (similar to Asian fruity shaved ice)

This place is nothing like you've ever seen before! It's essentially a drink stand with snow cones and a few Hispanic snacks, but it's their presentation that makes them unique. We tried the Xtra Special Strawberry Lemonade and a Mixed Strawberry and Mango Avalanche. Both were super refreshing, and the lemonade was decorated with all sorts of gummy candy. Just like others said, the prices range around $10/drink and it does take a couple minutes to prepare each drink, but it's definitely worth it during the summertime heat!

Definitely an experience. I'm from the RGV so we're always looking for good raspa or snack places. This place is definitely not for the weak. Drinks are huge and full of flavor. I love that they change up their menu when they can. I wish them many more years of success. Klamattomaxx and a pickleyumm

*WARNING: May cause blood sugars to rise!* These drinks are SO photogenic! The area, not so much, but you can get creative! This place is perfect to cool off when you need to (summer not necessary since it's always hot in Houston!). Brain Freeze only has certain seasons on when they open. They do not have their own website, so you must check their Facebook or Instagram!

Summer is coming to a close, and the weather outside is somewhat tolerable. That being said, my family wanted to check out this establishment while the weather deemed it necessary for a cold beverage. My daughter discovered this Brain Freeze via social media and has been asking us to take her here all summer. We finally all had time available and drove on over. It was easy to find but parking was a little scarce. The menu is on wall next to the counter where you order. There are plenty of items to choose from here with pictures so you are not ordering blindly. We chose the extreme strawberry lemonade. I believe it was the number one. It comes in a huge mason jar (which you get to keep), and it is a sight to see. It's pricey at 10 dollars, but I can see why they charge that much. You keep the jar and it takes time to decorate and make it look like it does. It has pineapple and strawberry pieces floating in it, as well as all kinds of gummy candies decorated on top of the drink. The lemonade itself was delicious and was not overly sweet. We also ordered a mango swim. They have prices on the wall, but you can opt for a cheaper version in a Styrofoam cup for $3.50 I believe. It's basically a mango slush with fresh mangos mixed in. It was tasty as well and refreshing. My one complaint was the parking and dirty tables. the lot was muddy and space was limited to park. The tables were covered in spilt drinks and sticky. The flies and mosquitos were out full force so we ended up enjoying our drinks in the comfort of our car. That being said, I will definitely be back sooner than later when I need a nice cold drink in the summer heat!

Elotes is the bomb here. Interior is very cute and it's spacious and clean inside. Many unique drink offerings too. Would be back though just for the elotes.

This place was good but overpriced. I got a piñalada and there wasn't much juice at all. I paid $16 for this and in my opinion it wasn't worth it. I liked it because I had been wanting to go and it looks pretty but I wouldn't go back. It was expensive and hardly any juice. Great for pictures tho lol

Do they still have the hot Cheeto elote?

That’s a seasonal item, we make those elotes when the Houston temperature starts to get a little chilly— usually in October. I am so sorry for the inconvenience.
