I've been seeing so many awesome pictures from this place and had to try it out! The parking is in the back and is kind of small and weird. I came on a Saturday so the line was pretty long. After ordering it took about 10 mins or so for us to get out drinks/snack. I got the mango swim (spicy) which is basically a mangonada. To me, it looked really pretty and cool but it tastes alright. Not the best I've had and for the price... I don't think it's worth it. All the other drinks looks massive tho and it's really cool for pics but I think it would be messy to get. Mangonada just as good quality if not better can be found at a closer location. This location is more of a one time to try because it is pretty far. I heard about this place through a friend and since I was 20 minutes away, I thought the drinks looked so nice that it would be worth the drive. I'd probably now say that it wasn't. My biggest pet peeve was the flies. They would NOT stop. Every time you shoo'd one away there would be another one on your shoulder or trying to get at your drink. This place is AMAZING!! Not so much to look at, with its simple tables and walk-up shack to order from, but no matter...what they're serving is on point. The milkshakes were unbelievably huge. My kids and I shared the chocolate and the birthday one (sorry I can't remember the official names!) and they were out of this world. There were ice cream sandwiches and Klondike bars on top of the already huge milkshake. And the birthday one was a vanilla based milkshake with loads of cottons candy, suckers, and assorted gummies on top. It was slightly expensive, the 2 shakes were just under $40.00, but was definitely worth a nice surprise or treat. Definite must if you have company in town. Super sweet, super fun, super-sized. Three descriptions I have to use when explaining this place. Okay, the drive isn't fun. It's all the way in Pasadena with nothing much else surrounding it. So, if you're ever in Pasadena, this might be the best moment to go get yourself a mason jar filled with fun because its a road trip if you live in Houston. My friend and I were feeling particularly adventurous, so we ventured out regardless of the ETA. So, here's a couple of notes on how to make the best of this experience: Parking: There's a lot behind the place, but its basically a dirt lot connected to a trailer park(?). There were no spots the first cycle through because we went on a beautiful sunny Saturday, so we had to awkwardly try to exit and re-enter to get a spot. Location: This place is all outdoor seating, which means that it's probably best visited during the Texas spring or summer-time, as opposed to our random snowy winter times. Like I stated, there's not much around this place so it doesn't seem to walkable. Menu: The menu is actually screenshots of their instagram page, so clearly they're really about the ~*aesthetics*~. It's also really really confusing. We ended up getting the number 1 item on the menu because I could not figure out the other drinks (like what was inside the drinks or if I could chose the beverage and the items on the menu were for the toppings etc). They're large drinks. Definitely great for two people. They're all basically drinks topped with ice cream or candy or cotton candy or whatever is ~*aesthetic*~ du jour. Our drink was literally just strawberry lemonade topped with a bunch of candy which doesn't seem too exciting, but the strawberry lemonade was actually so good. It also had fruits in it! (such as but not limited to: strawberries, pineapples, peach, and apple). The candy was a lot but I mean you're also paying $11 so load me up on all of that chewy sugar. I also like that you can take the mason jar back with you (or recycle). Details: THEY ONLY TAKE CASH! How sad would it be for someone to have driven all the way out to Pasadena, completely parched, only to find out that they can't actually purchase a sugary drink to quench their thirst. If you want the biggest drink it is ~$15 so, a $20 should be good. These drinks are also super sticky, so take some anti-bacterial. Bottomline: Glad I visited this place once. Other reviewers have said its on the sweeter side, but I felt it was right. The wait for the drink took about 20 minutes, but makes sense as there were two people in front of me who all bought elaborate drinks. My friend ordered first because we were paying separate and the lady working closed the door after finishing my friends orders. We waited a few minutes and my friend went to the car because mosquitos were biting us. I decided to stay to order. I waited for over 15 minutes to order, keeping in mind that mosquitos were biting me like crazy. At this point, it was passed closing time but the "open" sign was still on and I figured that because I had waited at the door for so long, they would still serve me. The lady opened the window, called someone's name, gave them a tray of drinks, looked at me, closed the door, and turned the sign to "closed." I was frustrated because I had been waiting and had many mosquito bites, but went back to my car. My friend got her drink 10 minutes after closing time, which meant she waited about 20 minutes for her drink. Although the drink looked good, they candy was stale and it didn't really taste like strawberry lemonade but more like strawberry juice with lemon (could be subjective to my opinion). You will be here waiting at least 30+ minutes for your order. It's as if there is only one person in there doing everything.
