Came here to try them out through a Facebook special for $49 which provided a free soft wave treatment. Trying to find a doctor that I feel very comfortable with. I wish I could remember the doctor's name, but he was very informative and pleasant as was his receptionist and technician. Soft wave is a miracle treatment that, of course, insurance companies do not cover because, of course, the AMA doesn't give it a billing code. This defies logic and common sense, of course, because the insurance companies would rather cover much more expensive treatments and procedures instead of this highly cost effective and just plain effective treatment. If you've seen any ads for soft wave treatment with patients suffering from joint pain or stiffness or other ailments, they are true. Let me tell you about my story. I had tweaked an injury to my right shoulder almost a year and a half ago. This limited my mobility and kept me from doing active things like throwing a ball. Even simple things like putting on a necktie or washing my back. There were definite movements that I could not do without pain or limited mobility, like reaching up high. This doctor gave me at least 15 minutes of soft wave therapy (it felt like longer) and it's crazy!--it works immediately. I could reach higher and every mobility issue improved. This clinic was different in that the gel applied was warmed up and so was the towel to wipe it off after the treatment. Cold gel and towel is no biggie, but this was a nice touch. Doing soft wave instead of surgery? No brainer. I wish this had been available years ago so that I didn't have to go through partially successful surgery that took many sessions of PT for only partial recovery. The technology behind it is that it increases blood flow, can increase bone density, and as far as I can understand, sort of "tricks" cells into a self-healing mode. You can research this yourself, though, it's not the purpose of this review. And of course, it has been in use in Europe for years before the US approved of it. Invented by German doctors to shatter kidney stones. After the soft wave therapy, he gave me an additional treatment with a laser treatment that also works in deep tissue. There were other rooms with other equipment for different kinds of treatment. His prices are comparable to everyone else's. I would definitely recommend that you try him out. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs! read more

Found my way back to Dr Salisbury for an issue in my hand/shoulder, and am SO HAPPY! I had been to a variety of specialists prior to getting into Brain & Spine, and they were unable to locate/diagnose the issue. Dr Salisbury was able to correctly locate the root cause of my pain very quickly and prescribe a solution that included stretches/exercises at home and at the gym. Above all that, you will come to know that Dr Salisbury genuinely cares about you and your unique situation. Each visit he's asking questions about my health, changes in my injury, and modifying the treatment plan as needed to ensure my results. 5-Stars! read more

Feeling so much better! I got rear ended and was left with severe neck, back and knee pain. Way different than other chiropractors I've been to, Dr Harrison didn't just pop my back, he took time to understand how the issues were correlated, and was able to target and solve the root cause of these related pains! He's also one of the nicest people. Update #1 (5/25/2021): I sprained my ankle and their laser therapy really helped reduce the pain and quicken the regrowth of tissue. They also have really good supplements. The one called "Tumero" really helped the inflammation. Update #2 (6/19/2022): My 6 month old baby had severe constipation that would last full weeks at a time. My regular doctor prescribed medications that didn't help much. Hours after leaving Harrison's office my son was back to normal and hasn't had an issue for over 2 months now! If it weren't for Harrison my son would still be on mediocre, and maybe damaging, meds. Thanks!! read more

I have really appreciated the services I've received. The staff is friendly and uplifting and Dr. Salisbury knows what he's doing. My neck pain has improved significantly by going to him. I also appreciate how he is not a creep like several chiropractors I've been to. He had great bedside manner. read more

I had tremendous improvement from Dr. Salisbury's Vielight infrared laser therapy after a severe concussion I experienced. The laser helped me with brain fog and a migraine-y feeling, and I felt especially relaxed while using it each day. I have experienced Dr. Salisbury to be a wealth of knowledge with a heart for helping his patients. He is a critical thinker and always exploring the current research to provide the best care for his patients. I highly recommend you consider taking advantage of his services if you've had a concussion like me, and I have also noticed he is great with children, too! read more

This Helped me, As you may or may not know, I was rear ended while on the job at work. Rushed to the hospital, I was unable to move my legs for close to 3 hours after the accident. They gave me an MRI - nothing was broken or bruised. The ER Doctor was sending me back to work immediately upon my discharge of the Hospital that day. Their conclusion was I had a severe Concussion. Two days later I lost Speech. I knew what I wanted to say, I just wasn't able to "find the words." It was more terrifying than sitting in my work van watching and waiting for the car to hit me. The next day I ended up back in the ER. I was just getting worse so they gave me a Ct-Scan. This time, again, nothing was broken or bruised. Even before they ran the tests, I told them it was my "BRAIN" that was broken - not knowing what had truly happened to me. This time the Doctor gave me a note to keep me out of work for two more weeks and to do a follow up with my personal Doctor before returning to work. Her conclusion was I had a severe Concussion. I spent the next 2 weeks sleeping most days away or just sitting in a darkened room with my eyes closed, due to the sensitivity of the light & the RAGING Headaches I was getting every day that would last almost all day. I was in my own little prison. I was scared that is what my life had come to. At one point the pain was so bad I contemplated taking a Spoon and scooping my eyes out of their sockets to stop the pain. My conclusion was, I had a severe Concussion. Workers comp wasn't getting me the help I needed. Their doctor was trying to send me back to work immediately. Lucky for me, my family doctor gave me a note to keep me out of work for a few more weeks to look for an alternative for my recovery. My wife was lucky enough to have a "Facebook Friend", Harrison Salisbury, the owner or Brain & Spine Upper Cervical Chiropractic in West Jordan, Utah - right off of Redwood Rd & about 9200 south. He was able to squeeze me in and give me a look over. It didn't take long and he determined that YES he can HELP me with my injuries. After all of the run around and PAIN that I went through, after about 4 different visits with Dr. Salisbury and taking some supplements - along with light treatment, I can say My headaches went away by 90%. That is HUGE! Now just one month of treatments later, I want to say I'm very close to being 100% better and back to being myself again. From being BROKEN to getting FIXED is AMAZING. I am sending this to you in hopes that you can give it a look. He can consult with you over the phone to see if he is a good fit for you and what your'e going through. Watch the testimonies on his YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-8BYCNs6eTqBCzfwFw_SIQ I never believed in Miracles until I had firsthand experience with Upper Cervical Chiropractic. One more thing... Dr. Salisbury is not like any Doctor or Chiropractor I have ever met before. He is genuine, caring, and smart and is there for your wellbeing. After talking with him for a short time, you will see what I do - A Great Guy. He is not there to take your money if he can't help you. If he knows of a better option for you, he will tell you. While traveling through Utah with my family my low back started to flare up again. You know - that reoccurring low back pain from all those long car rides. Harrison had my feeling great and back on the road in no time. This was one of the most informative doctor visits that I have experienced. Not to mention his adjustments were top quality. I was 100% satisfied and next time I'm traveling through W. Jordan Utah I will be stopping by for another adjustment w/ or w/ out my low back pain! Thanks, Harrison! read more

I have two children and in June 2019 I had a miscarriage. After the miscarriage my periods have been very difficult. Two weeks before my period I would have burning in my right breast sometimes both breasts. Burning and numbness from head to toe in my body. Cramps, irritability, headache and exhaustion. My periods seem irregular-sometimes. After my period is over I have one week of what I call relief with no pain or symptoms and then it starts all over again. It is affecting every aspect of my mental, emotional, physical and even spiritual health. I was in Utah visit friends when I heard about Dr. Salisbury. He had me start taking a supplement to help balance my hormones. When that time of the month came it was a completely new experience. Almost all of my symptoms were gone. I still cannot believe how much better I am already and I look forward to feeling even better!!! read more

I got into a bad car accident 18 months ago. Dr Harrison did wonders to get my whiplash, back, and neck healed. Highly recommended!

Dr. Salisbury is amazing. He truly helps. I have visited him on multiple occasions and every time, I get amazing results. One morning I woke up and couldn't move my neck. I went straight to Dr. Salisbury's office and after a 45 minute appointment, my neck was better. Not only did he just solve my problem but he spotted another one. My neck was an odd shape. It was perfectly straight up. The problem with that is that the older you get, the more problems it causes. He gave me a resource I could use to fix my neck problem before it's too late. Dr. Salisbury also worked miracles on my anxiety and depression. All he did was hold a couple of lasers up to my head for probably 5-10 minutes. That was about a months ago. I used to get weekly panic attacks and I haven't had one since he used his laser. (Also, his laser made my acne go away in 3 days and everyone has said my skin looks amazing!) Finally, I talked to him today because it hurt my back to walk. After some adjustments, there is definitely a noticeable difference. I would 100% recommend Dr. Harrison Salisbury. For more, check out his Instagram, (@brain_and_spine_upper_cervical) and YouTube, (link here: https://m.youtube.com/channel/UC-8BYCNs6eTqBCzfwFw_SIQ/videos ) Also, take a look at the hidden reviews. They are all positive and I hope you check them out. Thank you Dr. Salisbury!! read more

I have been to a lot of doctors of all different specialties for my symptoms and I searched out Dr. Salisbury when I moved here because I needed someone specifically trained in brain, spine, Neuropathy, autoimmune illnesses, etc. Super glad I found him. My life is manageable and improving with him. My wife also can do many things for the first time in years and her sciatic nerve doesn't pinch. Great Doc. The kind that spends his past times searching and studying more instead of doing the bare minimum. Ashley, his front office coordinator is awesome too! Our kids love her! Scott read more

I have been seeing Dr.Salisbury for about 2 months now for a neck and back injury from a rear end car accident. Prior to Dr.Salisbury, I had seen my internal medicine doctor, family chiropractor, acupuncturist and physical therapist. I was told multiple times that it was just "whiplash" and that it would take a little longer to heal since I have 3 kids. After 8 weeks of being in pain, I decided to look for someone else for treatment. Since seeing Dr. Salisbury, my back pain is completely gone and my neck is 90% better. Dr. Salisbury is very professional, extremely knowledgeable and will do whatever it takes to get to the root of the problem. I'm very thankful to his front desk receptionist Ashlee for helping me with my schedule. Dr. Salisbury is worth going to if you've exhausted all other treatments with other specialists. read more

Dr. Harrison Salisbury is amazing! He will definitely can help improve your life! Over my lifetime (and especially in recent years), I have had a number of health issues (from non-epileptic psychogenic seizures, sleep apnea, a host of sleep disorders, etc). I went to Dr. Salisbury on a whim and desperation. I've been to a number of doctors, hospitals, and specialists, including spending thousands of dollars upon treatment, medication, medical equipment, and hospital visits/stays. So I thought why not see if a chiropractor could help me. I must admit that before coming to him, I was skeptical (and kind of scared). I had never been to a chiropractor before and definitely not one who would make an atlas adjustment. However, for me, there wasn't any pain or discomfort in treatment. Plus, Dr. Salisbury is just a great guy and helped ease my mind about treatment. But after my atlas finally stabilized, things got better. So much better. My bowel movements became regular (no longer the back and forth of diarrhea and constipation). I could actually breath through both my nose and mouth, which has been so difficult for pretty much my entire life. This meant that didn't snore nearly as much (if at all). I didn't need to use my CPAP machine and actually felt like I could sleep. Before coming, it was next to impossible to feel energetic waking up or throughout the day, but now I feel like I can actually live my life. Plus, my back and neck has stopped hurting and requiring frequent massages or medication. There have been a host of other health benefits that I could ramble on about, but in short, coming to Dr. Salisbury has been one of the best medical decisions I've made. I've told all of my entire family to come in to see him, since I know that he can help them wherever their health issues may lie. read more

Ten months after I got a mild concussion, my health started to decline rapidly. I had a laundry list of symptoms (vision difficulties, light and sound sensitivity, vestibular problems, disequilibrium, daily headaches, jaw tension, dysautonomia/POTS, neck tension, nausea, insomnia). I was a very active individual, mom of two, teacher and spouse and suddenly my life had ground to a halt. My symptoms were so bad I could not work, ride in vehicles or walk around the block without feeling terrible. I saw at least 10 doctors and PTs, some of which offered useful advice but very slow gradual progress. After doing a lot of research and getting some advice from a concussion support group, I found Dr Salisbury. It wasn't until seeing him that my health began to improve at a more accelerated and truly measurable rate. I did not have a major upper cervical misalignment, so it wasn't a magic instant fix for me. I saw Dr Salisbury regularly for a few months. He did minor atlas and C2 realignments to release the massive amount of tension built up in my neck and he introduced me to tools that primed my brain for healing (Rezzimax, Vielight). Dr Salisbury was the first doctor that I saw that could explain what was happening in my brain and give me hope that my injuries were ones I could overcome. He did extra research for me, answered my many many questions, and continually invested time brainstorming with me when I hit a plateau. Five months after starting to see Dr Salisbury, I am able to walk four miles, cook and eat dinner with my family, go skiing (!!!) and work part time. I know what I need to do to continue to heal and I am confident in my trajectory. I am so grateful for Dr Salisbury's care and support on this journey. He is a wonderful doctor and an even better person! read more
