I called to discuss pain management for the procedure, because no one had called me to go over anything about the procedure. I asked what their pain management was for a colposcopy. I explained that I have panic attacks and that I was worried about the pain and didn't want to have a panic attack from working myself up about it either. I was told they don't have a pain management plan for colposcopies, that I would only feel a cramp. When I told the nurse I was speaking to that I have been in the room while someone was getting this exact procedure done and it was much more than a cramp, she said that I might be confusing it was a leep. I did not have words. I am expressing to her, a nurse, that I have watched someone experience this painful procedure and she tells me I must be confused. THESE PROCEDURES CAN BE PAINFUL! Go on Reddit and read real women's experiences with this procedure, these can be traumatic and we are only told that it will feel like a cramp. The OBVIOUS disregard for their patients pain is horrifying.

So disappointed, irritated and in pain. My original appointment was with Pam and she was Amazing!…read moreAmazing, friendly, informative and didn't rush anything. I was sent to Dr Rogers for a partial hysterectomy, and a TOT procedure. He was so nice and very good bedside manner. Day of surgery he came in to say good morning before surgery and was totally different. Demeanor, everything was totally different. Before I went back he assured me that he would either stop by after I woke up to speak to me, or call me later that day. NOTHING! I am 3 weeks post op and have not heard a word since the morning of my procedure. The hospital tried to contact him repeatedly the day of my surgery for my discharge and didn't hear back at all either. 3 weeks later and I think I have a UTI, tried calling the office before the weekend with no response, left a message with no response, finally on Monday I got ahold of them and they said to just do a walk in. They did a urinalysis and came back positive for infection. They said they would culture it and call me in 48 hours. The antibiotic is not working, I can't sleep because I am so uncomfortable even with Motrin 800 and AZO. Just so disappointed in this practice. I don't feel like they care at all outside of Pam. Also, after surgery I found out by reading my online records they did more than I anticipated and I was in pain beyond what I was expecting with no explanation. A patient shouldn't have to search for answers like that!

Title: Exceptional Care with a Personal Touch - Highly Recommend Pamela J. Sorensen, RN, PA-C…read more Exceptional! I cannot recommend Pam Sorenson highly enough! As a woman over 60, finding an PAC / OBGYN who truly understands my unique health needs and concerns has been a challenge, and that is why I'm SO grateful to have found Pam Sorenson. From the first visit THREE years ago, I felt welcomed, respected and heard. After just having my third annual visit, I knew I must write a review so other women in my age group can experience the same level of care I have received over and over again. Pam always takes the time to really talk to me--and I'm sure she's the same way with all her patients--about women's health, she listened to me, and I felt heard. She has an impressive wealth of knowledge and stays current with the latest research and trends by consistently attending symposiums and educational events. She's also got a great sense of humor. It's clear that she is passionate about her work and genuinely cares about her patients' well-being. Unlike typical annual visits where you might feel rushed, Dr. Sorenson takes a holistic approach, discussing options and recommendations tailored specifically for me--offering the pros and cons to everything we talked about. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and without hesitation, providing insights far beyond anything I've never received from previous doctor visits. Also, you just know when she completes your appointment, that you had the most thorough exam. If you're a woman over 50 seeking more than just a standard check-up, I highly recommend scheduling a visit with RN/PAC/OBGYN Pam Sorenson. Her compassionate care and depth of knowledge make all the difference in ensuring a healthy and informed future. One final thing: In my experience for the three times I've been to Valley Women's Health--their office is staffed by some of the most professional health practitioners I've known. Thank you!

Actually, this is the office address and phone number for Dr. Karen Radley. The review below is…read morefor her practice. *** It's been my experience that this office has unresolvable issues with communication and medical billing (which is unfortunate since the doctor is a nice person). Back in July, *I reached out* to Dr. Radley's office to make certain my insurance company was paying them properly. I asked them to contact me when they had the results of their research. After not hearing from Dr. Radley's office for months, I reached out on September 18, after they had closed unfortunately. I never heard anything from them. The only communication I did receive was a collections letter for twenty dollars and change. I was *stunned*. I reached out again to speak with someone on October 23, and did get a phone call back...twelve days later! (Once again I was left shaking my head at the poor communication skills of Dr. Radley's office.) During the phone call with medical billing, I attempted to ascertain what had happened so the issued could be resolved. (Matthew 18:15 right?) I was repeatedly told by Dr. Radley's office that they contacted me via mail and phone. When I asked for the caller ID of the phone number used to contact me there was a brief, awkward silence. (I wanted to check my cell records.) After that I knew asking for the postage log would be useless, and that there was no resolution to be had. I have since turned this matter over to my legal team to see what options I have to resolve this silly issue. After all this (avoidable) nonsense, I sadly cannot - and do not - recommend Dr. Radley's practice when asked, and always make it a point to explain why.
