Lisa Conner specializes in PCOS or polycystic ovarian syndrome, which is not always well understood by many practitioners. I appreciate that I always feel like I'm in good hands, that my health care is very well evaluated, and the staff is so knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them.

I called to discuss pain management for the procedure, because no one had called me to go over anything about the procedure. I asked what their pain management was for a colposcopy. I explained that I have panic attacks and that I was worried about the pain and didn't want to have a panic attack from working myself up about it either. I was told they don't have a pain management plan for colposcopies, that I would only feel a cramp. When I told the nurse I was speaking to that I have been in the room while someone was getting this exact procedure done and it was much more than a cramp, she said that I might be confusing it was a leep. I did not have words. I am expressing to her, a nurse, that I have watched someone experience this painful procedure and she tells me I must be confused. THESE PROCEDURES CAN BE PAINFUL! Go on Reddit and read real women's experiences with this procedure, these can be traumatic and we are only told that it will feel like a cramp. The OBVIOUS disregard for their patients pain is horrifying.

I was sent to Dr Rogers for a partial hysterectomy, and a TOT procedure. He was so nice and very good bedside manner. Day of surgery he came in to say good morning before surgery and was totally different. Demeanor, everything was totally different. Before I went back he assured me that he would either stop by after I woke up to speak to me, or call me later that day. NOTHING! I am 3 weeks post op and have not heard a word since the morning of my procedure. The hospital tried to contact him repeatedly the day of my surgery for my discharge and didn't hear back at all either. 3 weeks later and I think I have a UTI, tried calling the office before the weekend with no response, left a message with no response, finally on Monday I got ahold of them and they said to just do a walk in. They did a urinalysis and came back positive for infection. They said they would culture it and call me in 48 hours. The antibiotic is not working, I can't sleep because I am so uncomfortable even with Motrin 800 and AZO. Just so disappointed in this practice. I don't feel like they care at all outside of Pam. Also, after surgery I found out by reading my online records they did more than I anticipated and I was in pain beyond what I was expecting with no explanation. A patient shouldn't have to search for answers like that!

I was appreciative and left to park the car. I arrived back to find my wife in an ER holding room moaning and crying in pain. I stepped outside of the room to find out what we needed to do to relieve the discomfort and pain, I encountered Carolyn, a registrar for IHC, whom was extremely rude and uncaring related to my wife's pain and discomfort, she stated, "we've done an EKG and she's not having a heart attack so its obviously anxiety related" I asked her "can you hear my wife moaning in pain" and she replied "she'll be fine" and returned to looking at her computer. I couldn't believe the disdain of her demeanor and attitude as my wife moaned in pain. I returned to my wife in utter disbelief. We eventually were taken back to see the MD and nurse whom were professional and took good care of my wife. I write this review in hopes to train and educate the frontline staff to remember they are the first ones the patients and family encounter when unfortunate and unexpected health related issues occur requiring the need of trained health care professionals.
