If you value your health, do NOT go to Dr. Jack Hinkle. In 2012, I began to have numbness in my…read morearms and legs. He didn't take my symptoms seriously but kept putting me off for months, neglecting me as my numbness got worse, until he finally sent me to a neurologist. To make a long story short, I had a tumor the size of a walnut in my neck that had smashed my spinal cord until it was nearly severed and was swollen and black. The orthopedic surgeon said I may never walk again. However, after the surgery, I can walk but need assistance. I have lost the fine motor skills in my hands. Worst of all, I cannot drive because I do not have feeling in my legs. Dr. Hinkle diagnosed me with Afib in February 2016. He did not give me patient education about the dangers of Afib or prescribe medication or counseling and so nothing was done. I switched doctors but the Afib was not caught until I had a stroke in June 2024. If Dr. Hinkle had put me on the meds I needed or given me any information about my options or even recommend that I go to a cardiologist to get my heart checked, I may not have had the stroke. Like I say, if you value your health, do NOT go to Dr. Jack Hinkle. He can ruin your life by his neglect and inattention.
