My parents grew up watching the Brady Bunch and started to show my siblings and I the episodes! They r so good and my dad got us tickets to go see this house and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Seeing how this house has been renovated and designed so intricately is so beautiful!!

I was able to surprise my husband James for his 50th birthday with a private and self guided tour of this entire home. Being inside the Brady Home is a one of a kind and world class LA experience. The owner, Tina, in accompany with HGTV has painstakingly and miraculously been able to re-construct the sets and bring to life the interiors of the tv show. All 'rooms' on both levels of the home are curated perfectly down to the smallest detail. The kitchen with its bright orange formica countertops, Alice's Bedroom, Mike's sunken drafting room, Greg's Attic Apartment, The Brady children's rooms, Tiger's Dog house and of course the floating staircase in the living room. Then there are items such as cursed tiki references, a skull in the refrigerator, Kitty-Karry-All Dolls, Davey Jones' letter to Marcia, the horse statue and even the vase they break in the show. This is an experience for experts in Television history and was worth all the incredible work that went into it. Thank you Tina and Abigail for making Jame's 50th birthday a once in a lifetime gift.

I visited the Brady House with a good friend of mine and the experience was exceptional! The HGTV team took care of every detail, right down to Marsha's letter from Davy Jones to the cars! You really get the feeling any one of the Bradys might come in at any moment. It costs a little bit of money, but considering it's going to an animal shelter it's well worth it. Let me say those floating stairs are STEEP! Barry Williams noted this in his book that the stairs from the set were steep as well, so it checks. The hosts and "Alice" were very nice, very informative and let you have the run of the house. My only nitpick (and it is that, a small detail) was that the oven was a modern one, but considering all the period furniture they had inside we can overlook that small detail.

I wasn't born when the show was released, but I love classic famous shows and Brady Bunch is one of them. I went to Los Angeles for vacation, so I have a chance to stop by and take some pictures to enjoy my memories. The old vehicle is parking outside maybe for a visitor like me to take a photo.

High crime in Los Angeles has Brady Security on 24 hour alert.

It's fun to visit the Brady Bunch house. We walked it over from Salt and Straw on Ventura so we got some exercise out of it. Here's some important things to know about the Brady Bunch house: 1. The Brady Bunch do not live there--they are scattered all over the USA. 2. The Brady Bunch actually never lived there--the show was filmed at Paramount in a studio made up to look like the inside of the house. 3. The house inside actually looks like it did when the show was filmed. 4. No one lives in the house--it's owned by a cable TV production company. 5. There is a security guard outside the house to keep you from approaching the doors of the house or garage. The security guard there when I was outside the house was friendly and shared some general information about the house. He said it was well taken care of and preserved and that the TV production company pays for the security service. If you were a big fan of the show like was watching the re-runs growing up definitely come check it out, but keep your expectations low. But looking back on the production values of the actual show and the acting--it was really genius TV at a time when they did not have all the graphics and digital editing processes like they have today. It was a time of a safe low crime California and must have been a ton of fun filming.

The 70's Most Famous Home We drove to the Brady Bunch House and we saw a truck parked on the street in front of the house. Its side said "Security" on the door. We were not deterred although we were not sure if we were allowed to take photos so we tried to sneak photos of the house. LoL! The address they used for the show was 4222 Clinton Way, but they never mentioned the city. The real house where the exterior shots were taken was at 11222 Dilling Street in North Hollywood CA (Studio City). While we were there we met a nice lady walking her dog. She saw me looking at the house and said "it's a beautiful house, isn't it?" Turned out she's a huge fan of the Brady Bunch and just lived down the street. We walked up to the house together and she shared details of the home. She mentioned that the previous owner had a fence put up. That when the owner passed HGTV won the bid to purchase the home and now it's restored to its new/retro look all over again. She showed us which neighbors lived in which home (the Liston side and the Dittmeyer side). Also, I didn't know that there wasn't any glass in the sliding doors. This is to prevent reflections and glare from the TV lights. The security guard was nice and he is there to make sure that folks don't get too close to the house. In my photos there is an orange cone and people were not supposed to go past that cone towards the house. While my new "friend" was sharing more stories about the home more cars started to come to see the Brady Bunch House. I used to watch endless hours of Brady Bunch that it's hard to believe that the show only ran for 5 years (from 1969-1974)?? Really? I felt like I grew up with Greg, Marcia, Peter, Jan, Greg, and "Thindy" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . We ended up staying longer than we originally planned. Now I found myself humming the insanely catchy theme song... "Here's the story of a lovely lady..." What is your favorite memory about the Brady Bunch House? Review #2213

Visited in August '23 and it's nostalgia to the max! One of the highlights of my trip to LA and Palm Springs but I've been a Brady Bunch fan since kindergarten in '73. If you go, park up the street and walk back to the house. There was a security guard stationed on the left side to keep people out of the yard but you can still get good photos. A fun venture!

The infamous Brady Bunch House! Located at 11222 Dilling Street (and Klump Street) in Studio City (Los Angeles), CA 91604.

Woohoo, 15 mins later, I'm here! Just a quick drive from my Yelp Elite Perk in Sunland. I finally got a picture of the infamous Brady Bunch House, heheh! I tried visiting this place a couple of years ago and they were tapered off for remodeling. I recalled a security guard was turning visitors away. Also, I was thinking about visiting here yesterday when I was doing a quick, 2021 Halloween tour of famous filming locations, but decided to come here next time since I was all the way over in Downtown Los Angeles, and was getting hungry and tuckered out. Lo and behold, I had a Yelp Elite Perk in Sunland and of course, opportunity to visit here presented itself, lol! Admission and Parking: Free and plentiful. Location: 11222 Dilling Street (and Klump Street) in Studio City (Los Angeles), CA 91604 There is a security car and guard here to watch over the place in case visitors got too close. I just came and took a quick picture before hopping back in my car to go enjoy my Elite Perk. It's very cool being able to see the Brady Bunch House and imaging the cast and crew running in and out of this place during filming. Bummer, there's no tours available inside. Ahhh, good ole memories of watching the Brady Bunch...RIP in Ms. Ann B. Davis (Alice the Housekeep)...you were definitely the one keeping those Bradys in line while giving them funny and sage advice while in between, keeping their home clean. You were definitely my favorite! This location is worth checking out and afterwards, head on over to Universal Studios for some Butterbeer (and a Sticky Toffee Pudding too!).

Here's the story of a lovely lady. Who was bringing up three very lovely girls. All of them had hair of gold, like their mother, The youngest one in curls. The Brady Bunch, The Brady Bunch, That's the way we became the Brady Bunch. That song (shorten version) and the house brings back fond memories of watching the Brady Bunch show on TV. It was one of my favorite TV shows to watch when I was a kid. The house looks exactly the same as it was in the show with the exception of the paint color and the gate which was probably installed to keep tourists away.

Ask the Community - Brady Bunch House

The show is over. Is there still a fence obstructing the view? I understand a guard, but to still have a fence? Fans would just like to drive by and see the outside.

Just jogged past there today. There is a security guard who sits in an SUV and will come out if you get too close. But he is very nice and you can certainly take pictures. I want to go inside so bad!!!

Howdy, y'all! We'll be in LA on Saturday and we would like to know if there is still filming at the house or would we able to drive by it and possibly get out and take pix? Please let us know!

Filming is over and the show is already on TV. You can definitely drive by and take pictures.

I grew up with, a sometimes scary but always fascinating place dominated by imposing physical structures of steel and concrete. The East L.A. Interchange and everything around it seemed intent on delivering millions of cars into and out of Downtown as brutally efficiently as possible, with no regard for the local neighborhoods (or the people who lived in them), the physical environment, or even the L.A. River itself. Unlike its flashy new neighbor the 6th Street Bridge and its closer and more crowded neighbor the 4th Street Bridge, the 1st Street Bridge always felt like the little-used last chance to cross the river before the busier (and confusing) Cesar Chavez Avenue (formerly Macy Street) Viaduct, not to mention Main Street much farther north. The construction of Metro's Gold Line (now the E Line) saved the bridge, in a way. Before the train tracks were laid across the span, there were five total lanes, with the center lane being one of those confusing ones that changes directions at certain times. Caltrans or L.A. Public Works or whoever couldn't seem to decide how wide to make the lanes, so they kept changing the sizes, possibly because the bridge originally had shoulders or three lanes in each direction? Now, there's one lane of motor-vehicle traffic heading westbound and two heading eastbound. All lanes are now permanent. There is a fairly well protected bike lane on the north side of the bridge, and the train tracks run in the middle. It's probably slower now, but because everyone knows it has three lanes total, fewer people probably use it. Or maybe GPS navigation has completely ruined the idea of people driving and not driving places because of their personal knowledge of situations there. In any case, driving westbound gives you the perfect view of Downtown L.A. My dad's side of the family has deep routes in Boyle Heights, so I'm a sucker for this kind of stuff, as ugly as it probably is to most non-Angelenos.
