Me,…read morebeing paranoid as usual, decided to pull of and find an automotive place to check out our car before we committed to the 5+ hours drive. After circling around the area, we stumbled upon Carlton's Service hoping for assistance. We spoke to a man named Paul who directed us to Rall's. We thank him very much to this day for sending us to Rall's--he even called to make sure we found the place. Rall's checked out our car politely and urgently. After realizing we might have a transmission issue, one of the mechanics came in and thoroughly explained the issue. Transmissions are a pain; a very expensive one. He explained that he could flush our systems but it may not make it better, in fact it could further damage the vehicle. He said he did not feel comfortable doing work to our car that he couldn't exactly pin point. They didn't even charge us for inspecting our car. Absolutely amazing men and service! I've never met more honest and genuine mechanics!

Ok, its not a great car, I'll chalk it up to coincidence. Replaced the belt, brand new belt broke the next day? Closer look revealed my crankshaft pully had been cut on. Not broken or split, like an old part or like something banging around in the engine, nope, a nice clean even cut. Fresh cut, with no wear. I guess they thought I was a mark. I replaced the crankshaft pulley myself. Next time I have an electrical problem I'll figure that out myself too I guess. You can't trust these guys, thats for sure. I hope they close down. This is not how you get repeat business, boys. You won't get any more of mine.

I drove down from Toledo to see if there was anything they could do to help me out, and I was met with impeccable service, both personally and for the car. They ordered certified Audi parts for my car and put the same quality of work into this issue as a big dealership would. Not only did they do that, but because it was an issue on their part, they completely covered the cost of the repairs themselves, so this was a free job. This took no amount of pleading or asking and they were completely up front with me and so very kind to me. I am a medical student so I don't have much time to work within their working hours, but I was received both over the phone and in person with high quality service and empathy. Also, I had to wait for a friend to pick me up from the location since my car was unsafe to drive, and they kindly let me sit in the waiting room and shared their Wifi with me so I could study. I cannot express how much I recommend this place and I have never been met with such amazing and kind customer service. Their service is excellent and I have never been so impressed and appreciative of a company in this business before. **Update that just happened, the company said they have trucks between here and Toledo often, and they will try their best to get it back up there for me, so I don't need to make a 45 minute drive here again. The staff is truly apologetic and very genuine!!

I called and the response was "we can get it in next Thursday", instead of "bring it down and we will look at it immediately." No interest in correcting the problem. I was laughed at when I called to inform them my vehicle was not working after picking it up the day before. This place is a joke. Do not take your vehicle there. If you do, it will take five days to "get it fixed" if they can even do that.
