Facilities are adequate and the range of services seems standard, including boarding. Our dog seems to like it there. Prices were as expected. One minor problem is the irregular parking lot. Lots of other client pet-owners seem to not know how to park, so be careful. As this is the only Vet we have used here, I can't compare.

The conversation was also great when we started conversing about his plans for the kennels which as an animal lover. I absolutely love the idea. There are not enough people who care enough to stop and help animals. Rebecca came a picked up my brother's dog Dappy from us at work. The process was 3 days total. I find that was excellent time to have it done. Dappy came back to us in a cardboard box with her paw prints, creations certificate, and ashes. We did choose to get a wooden box to put her ashes in so she could sit with my dog Bruiser who passed away last year. They were friends for 10+ year. While visiting Lafayette from Florida, one of our dogs began having diarrhea and GI issues and the other developed symptoms Sunday night. Broussard Veterinary Clinic was able to set an appointment to see a vet at 8am Monday morning, when other clinics we called would have had us waiting until late afternoon or evening. Dr. Hise's care set a standard impressive enough that we are reevaluating our current veterinary care at home.

I recommend this vet for all parrot and bird owners. A vet that knows birds vs. a vet that is only guessing could be the difference between life and death for a pet as delicate as a bird. Myself and a co-worker who both own parrots have brought our birds here and have been very pleased with the knowledge of the staff, especially Dr. Marullo. I took off one star on the review only because the front desk staff can sometimes be a bit short with you and rude especially on the phone, but the Dr. is super great.
