Briefly passing through Mitchell, SD on our roadtrip and decided to have lunch here since it was right next to the Corn Palace. We were seated almost immediately- I also noticed there were plenty of high tops, regular tables and seats at the bar. Our waitress was friendly and quick to get our orders. I had the cheeseburger, which tasted good but fairly standard. The French fries were crispy and well seasoned. My friend had the crispy chicken salad with raspberry vinaigrette-- was told this was good but again, nothing extraordinary. Overall, this was a good place for lunch. After visiting the Corn Palace in Mitchell, I got hungry. Bradley's Pub is right next door, so I thought I'd give it a try. The place is huge, decorated in a sports bar and modern motif. I was seated quickly. My server came right to the table, took my order, and before long my sandwich arrived, hot and fresh. I loved this place. Food was good the first time we went one of the reasons why we returned. Service was horrible! Asked what was in the chicken salad servers response was chicken and salad! Only the side salad informed you of ingredients! Tried to get one of the hostess girls attention looked right at me as I asked for her and kept walking. Husband tried to get our servers attention had to yell! Obviously the music is too loud if your employees cant hear. Experienced a lot of drama. Employees talking about it all while hiding around the corner and Noone was even aware of what was really going on. ( We go for the food and the atmosphere! ) Very sad because the other time we went the servers were beautiful people! Won't return unless the drama and service gets better!! read more

The food was excellent. The Rueben was cooked to perfection. The thousand island sauce was on the side for dipping. I highly recommend! The Beef Barley Soup was hearty and Bear Cheese Soup were both tasty and very hot. Service was good and pleasant, and the atmosphere was great. Folks were nice, but it took over 45 mins to get meal and there was a group of what appeared to be off work employees wanting my table. They cleared my plate (not my waitress). After about 20 mins of waiting they took my credit card and processed my payment. Clearly wanting me off this table. Not a great experience. Food was marginal at best. read more

Made a stop in Mitchell and found this place from a recommendation from a local. The atmosphere was really great and they did a great job of blending the old town and modernizing it in a nice touch. The food and service was great. We had the steak tips, sirloin, chicken Alfredo, and the chili. All was really good. Loved seeing the local companies on the menu. All in all a must stop if in Mitchell and corn palace visit. read more
