And the offices are very clean, and staff of fully vaccinated so you can feel safe. For some reason there are some dentists in this area who refuse to do the exam and cleaning on the same visit... but not here. Got my cleaning, x-rays, and exam all in the same visit and everyone was very efficient. Also I called on a Friday and they got me in Monday morning at 10:30am, I was floored. I thought there would be a wait. Also love the online forms. No paperwork or waiting upon arrival. Will definitely be coming back for my checkups!

Dr. Marsh is THE dentist to go to in Cleveland…read more His office is perfectly clean and when you enter you are welcomed by the kindest staff. I had the pleasure of getting my teeth cleaned by Amy. Amy had adorable pet photos in her room and told me all about her fur babies. Amy did such a thorough job with my teeth cleaning. She was so thoughtful to hand me chapstick to keep my lips moist throughout the cleaning. She gave a detailed explanation of what she was doing and told me of any teeth that needed extra attention or might need some repairs soon. Once she was completed with my cleaning Dr. Marsh checked her work. He is very kind and personable. One thing to note is that he is a perfectionist. He will often want to fix cosmetic related things with your teeth, and is honest if it is necessary dental work or just aesthetic. I got a groove in my tooth filled on based on his recommendation that not only will my tooth look nicer, but it will help the aggravation he was starting to see near my gum line. I will always go back to Dr. Marsh for my future teeth cleanings and dental work. There is simply no better dentist in the area.

I am writing this review to share my experience after receiving cosmetic dental bonding on multiple…read moreteeth at this practice. While the cosmetic bonding was meant to improve my smile, I am less happy with how it looks now than before. In my experience with one specific tooth, the material did not appear contoured flush to my tooth structure, leaving what felt like a noticeable overhanging margin. Because it did not feel properly sealed against the tooth, it created what felt like a constant trap for plaque and food, making it incredibly difficult to clean. Due to my concerns over potential gum irritation and the risk of decay under the material, I chose to visit a different dentist a few days later to have the bonding fixed and re-contoured. As shown in the attached photos, which I took just a few days after my initial appointment, the top of the bonding on this tooth was raised over my gum line and did not appear attached to my actual tooth structure. My photos demonstrate my experience clearly: I could easily slip dental floss directly behind the top front edge of the bonding because of this physical gap. Furthermore, the material feels excessively bulky in my mouth, and the final shapes of the teeth are aesthetically unappealing to me. I spent a significant amount of money here on cosmetic work. Ultimately, I am very unsatisfied and disappointed with these results. It is not only frustrating, but heartbreaking to invest so much money into a procedure only to feel unhappy with the outcome, and I truly wish I had gone elsewhere!

When you arrive you check in at the front desk then an assistant gives you a little office tour and tells you a bit about the doc. The place is immaculately clean. The entire process (I was here for a tooth repair) is efficient but they don't rush you. I had a few questions and the doc and hygienist answered all of them and them some. Oh! I almost forgot. Make sure you fill out the new patient forms on their website. It's helpful because before they complete your service, someone will come and tell you what you will have to pay out of pocket. They try to avoid financial surprises. I appreciate that because dental work can be expensive and it's nice that they are sensitive to that. When it's over, you get a little welcome gift bag with some university heights dental swag lol: a double insulated water cup with straw, a nice chapstick, and a hand written note welcoming you to the practice. The only negative is that they are so popular that you have you schedule out a few months right now for your annual cleaning.

Dr. Fixler has created a practice that appears to prioritize generating income over providing…read moreevidence-based dental care. I switched to this practice due to a change in my insurance coverage, having recently had a dental exam and X-rays just six months prior. These images were provided to UHD. At my initial visit, before even receiving an exam, I was told I would need 18 bitewing X-rays to create a full-mouth panorama. As a medical physician, I questioned the necessity of this, especially given that recent X-rays were already available. When I asked whether I could opt for the standard molar bitewings instead, the hygienist became visibly frustrated. It seemed clear he was accustomed to patients questioning this practice and annoyed by it. An associate dentist then came in to explain that the full set of X-rays was necessary so she could assess my bone structure and check for oral cancer. I explained that I am a physician and that this is not the standard method for oral cancer screening. She then claimed that this was the "standard of care." When I asked her to show me the ADA guidelines to support this, she brought back a chart that applied to patients with periodontal disease or dentofacial abnormalities--neither of which apply to me. After reviewing the actual ADA guidelines myself (see screenshot from this article: https://jada.ada.org/article/S0002-8177(23)00734-1/fulltext), it's clear that requiring 18 X-rays in this context is not evidence-based. I shared this with her, and she then suggested we "dissolve the relationship" and that I seek dental care elsewhere. If you are looking for evidence-based care, compassionate professionals, and a practice that respects patient autonomy while avoiding unnecessary costs, I strongly recommend seeking care elsewhere.

So I'll tell you two things about her practice that are not subjective. First of all, the various forms of payment she accepts are posted on a window in the waiting room, so you know before you see her what she'll take for payment. I took a photo of that window and have posted it here to Yelp. Second, when I saw her about a problem I was having with an old cap and root canal done by my former dentist, she took the time to sit next to me and drew on some scrap paper to illustrate what was going on with that tooth so I could follow along with her explanation. My former dentist didn't do that and I found this extra step very helpful. One more thing about Emily - her employees love her. My husband is a chatty guy and got to talking with the staff during his first appointment at Emily's office. He was told that she bought the practice from another dentist who retired (not the same guy I saw for 20 years) and they really like her better than the previous guy! I don't think they knew George and Emily were book club buddies, and the compliments were totally unsolicited.

Dr. Weitz got me in fast, took stock of things and got me set up with a temporary crown and told me I'd have a new one inside of a week! Not only that, and this impressed me a lot, I got a numbing injection in my gum...and didn't even feel it! Now that, folks, is talent! As I said, not only is Dr. Weitz great, but so is her staff; they were kind, thoughtful and very helpful and skilled as well. Overall, if you're looking for a great dentist who'll treat you as a person and listen to your concerns, then you'll get the tooth, the whole tooth, and nothing but the tooth from Dr. Emily Weitz and Staff!!
