It was Monica who made me feel comfortable and choosing to proceed with this clinic. First thing I like about Dr Singh was his positive attitude. He advised me not to worry and that he'll have my legs looking brand new is that was all I needed to hear! Dr Singh did exactly that! My family and friend were impressed on how amazing the result were! I get asked all the time... was it painful??? Ha, nope...not at all. Dr Singh & Monica both had a cool vibe were I felt comfortable and relaxed on the table. I even asked Dr Singh if he even started the procedure and he advised me that he was almost done. As soon as I called their office, the person answering the phone was giggling before she could greet me on the phone. Ultimately, I had to cancel and am now looking elsewhere. As much as I wanted to choose South Bay Vascular Center and Vein Institute because of their excellent ratings, if after two cancellations and the way I was treated on the phone is any indication of how their medical treatment runs, I did not want to find out. There is a lot of demand for healthcare in California, especially for small businesses. However, you need to prioritize the customer service and understand that your patients have busy lives. I went in at 3:00PM and went home the next morning at 8AM !. Dr. Kokinos helped me avoid an 8 to 10 hour high risk surgery followed by 7 days in ICU, 2 weeks of hospitalization and two to three months recovery. Why did I go to Dr. Kokinos? Nearly **a year later**, I received a bill for $124 for a service I was never told would be billed. When I called to ask what the charge was for, I was told it was for an ultrasound--something I was never informed would incur a charge, nor did I receive any records of the results.
