Until I found VIP Vien Center off Yelp and met Monica. She put me at ease advising me that she was going to schedule me with the best vien doctor there is and that was Dr Singh! It was Monica who made me feel comfortable and choosing to proceed with this clinic. First thing I like about Dr Singh was his positive attitude. He advised me not to worry and that he'll have my legs looking brand new is that was all I needed to hear! Dr Singh did exactly that! My family and friend were impressed on how amazing the result were! I get asked all the time... was it painful??? Ha, nope...not at all. Dr Singh & Monica both had a cool vibe were I felt comfortable and relaxed on the table. I even asked Dr Singh if he even started the procedure and he advised me that he was almost done. Couldn't even feel a thing! Thank you Dr Singh! To you you were just doing what you do best and that's your job but to me you changed my life and ways you didn't even know! In the spring of 2025, my husband, Jamie, needed to have his gallbladder removed after experiencing persistent problems and inflammation. His surgery was initially scheduled for about a month later, but when his symptoms continued to worsen, we contacted Dr. Nguyen. After discussing what Jamie was experiencing, we decided it was best not to wait--and it was a good thing we didn't. Dr. Nguyen performed the surgery the very next day at Good Samaritan Hospital. Dr. Nguyen is not only an expert in his field, but he also has an exceptional bedside manner. He was attentive, reassuring, and continued to follow up after the procedure. Jamie recovered wonderfully. Fast-forward to September 2026, when Jamie developed severe abdominal pain and went to the emergency room at El Camino Hospital. Testing revealed appendicitis, and we were so relieved to discover that Dr. Nguyen was there and would once again be performing his surgery. Jamie has endured several serious health challenges over the past few years, including vestibular migraines and open-heart surgery at Stanford for an aortic aneurysm, which required part of his aorta to be replaced. Needless to say, he has been through a lot. Seeing Dr. Nguyen immediately lifted his spirits because he knew he would literally be in the best hands. Jamie is currently recovering in the hospital, where he is being monitored because of his medical history, but the surgery went extremely well, and we are confident he will have another smooth recovery. We are deeply grateful for Dr. Nguyen's expertise, compassion, attentiveness, and genuine care for his patients. He takes the time necessary to help ensure the best possible outcome and makes both the patient and their family feel comfortable and supported. Dr. Nguyen is an amazing surgeon, and we recommend him wholeheartedly. If you need a procedure within his area of expertise, do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment with him. His staff are super nice and very responsive. The waiting room very comfortable and stylish at the same time. "Now for the good part" I came in for what I suspected was a recurrence of a hernia. After consulting with Dr. Wynn and him checking me out; he was not confident that a hernia was my problem so he ordered a CAT scan with contrast. "Because of my past procedures" After getting the results back he informed me that I did not have a hernia and that the cause most likely is from scar tissue. The CAT scan also found a couple other issues so he referred me to a specialist. Dr. Nguyen is fantastic, he takes his time with you and he listens. He is also very personable. He also prescribed medication before my trip to Hawaii to help prevent a flare-up, which tremendously eased the nerve irritation and made the trip so much more comfortable. From start to finish I was very comfortable knowing that I was getting the best care possible. Since transitioning to Dr. Shamala, my experience has been very disappointing. Appointments are booked several months out, which defeats the purpose of having a primary care provider. When you're sick, you need timely access--not a long wait that forces you to rely on urgent care visits, as I've had to do multiple times. When I asked about the delays, I was told there are simply too many patients. That response was concerning. It feels like the focus is on taking on more patients rather than properly caring for existing ones. During the one appointment I was able to get (scheduled three months in advance), I felt rushed, as if the priority was moving quickly to the next patient rather than providing thoughtful care. Maybe my previous doctor set a very high bar, but this experience has been frustrating and disappointing. Accessibility and patient relationship are fundamental to primary care, and unfortunately, that has not been my experience here.

On Friday, Dec. 5 late afternoon, just ONE business day before the appt., I get a call from O.M. telling me Dr. Fell's office cancelled my appt. because they do not accept new patients anymore. 1. Why was appt. available and booked if Dr. Fell does not accept new patients anymore? 2. Why notify me end of day on Friday, one business day before the actual appt? 3. Why not having the decency/courtesy to call me directly to let me know? Perhaps Dr. Fell is indeed a good doctor (I did not get a chance to experience), however, given the way HIS office/people handled this matter, makes him a terrible leader. And as we all know, the buck stops with the boss. Disappointing, to say the least.
