I even changed my insurance to be able to check this place out! I absolutely was not disappointed. Plenty of parking available in the shared lot with other businesses in the building. The office is very inviting, clean, and organized. The staff has been top notch throughout all of my communication and visits so far. Major shout out to Jenna, who went out of her way to welcome me, learn about my needs/anxieties, and make sure that I felt at home and safe. She even offered local recommendations since I'm newer to the area. My favorite part of the visit was that they offered a menu of items to make me feel more comfortable in the chair! I chose a stress ball for this visit, but might choose additional items on future cleanings! Why not make it feel like a spa visit? HUGE shout-out to my hygienist, Eriel!! She was probably one of the best hygienists I've ever had. She was non-judgemental, sweet, kind, explanatory, and made sure I was doing well and comfortable throughout the visit. We had great conversation, and I felt like she had genuine interest in making sure I was in a good spot. I'd highly recommend her! Dr. Heidi Smith, was also very friendly and helpful during my exam! Lastly, I think they did an amazing job of being upfront and honest about cost throughout my visit. Anything not covered by insurance was very clearly articulated and I felt like I had full control of whether or not I said yes or no to the options. This is huge, because no one likes to be surprised with a massive bill at the end of your routine service. I can't wait to keep coming back to Heart of the City!

I really appreciate being able to go to a place where you don't get shamed for any dental issues too. They've always approached things from offering advice to improve, which hasn't been my experience at other places I've been. If you've ever heard "It looks like you haven't been flossing lately, hmm?" or something similar, you know what I mean. Special shout out to the hygienist Dani who was really easy to talk to and gave me some really good insights about what sort of ways I could prevent some issues beyond just brushing/flossing that was knowledgeable and relevant (look into a waterpik to help my gums, but mouth wash wasn't really needed since I had good enamel from brushing alone already). I moved to Savage back in 2013 and I travel quite a bit for work - almost every week. This can make it really difficult to schedule things in like doctors and dentists appointments. I needed a place I could go to on the weekends and evenings. Dr. Lee's hours really work with my schedule and is so convenient with being 6min away from my house. He's also incredibly sweet and a great person. In fact, all of the staff in that office are! Calling for an appointment is straightforward and easy. The only thing I wish they had was an option to schedule appointments online or though an app. Highly recommend for anyone who lives in this area to check Burnsville Family Dental if you're in need of a new dentist!

After mostly routine dental care during that 20 years I had the unfortunate experience of breaking a tooth after biting down on a piece of crab shell. Sadly, this occurred on a Saturday evening and the next day I was to attend a charity event which was also a chef's tasting menu. I was uncertain how badly my tooth was damaged and certainly knew the charity event was out. I telephoned the emergency number on Sunday morning. Dr. Mark said he was able to meet me at noon, 45 minutes later! He put in a temporary filling. Further, there was no extra or emergency charge. I attended my event later that evening. Amazing care! My initial consultation revealed that I needed a root canal. Never having had one, I was nervous, but Dr Chad Nelson put me at ease by explaining the procedure and what to expect. We caught the issue just in time, and I was able to have an entirely pain-free procedure. Thanks to Chad's excellent work, I have also been pain free after the procedure, although I expected to be taking a lot of aspirin, I haven't had to pop a single pill. The entire staff here is friendly and helpful. They make a trip to the dentist very pleasant! They were able to book appointments in a couple days over the phone, where I had called other dental practices in the past who told me it was a two-month wait to get in.

Everyone in the office is great, starting from the office manager, to the hygienist, the assistant and of course the dentist. The office manager did a great job of communicating and explaining the work that needed to be done and how it translates with my dental benefits. They gave me recommendations and different options and were not pushy with what I should have done, which I appreciate. They ended up doing a procedure that I ultimately chose to have done. The dentist is good at what he does and he made sure I was comfortable every time I came in. As far as the other review, I had some procedures done myself and I did not feel up-sold. They gave me different options with recommendations, and they did what I ultimately chose. From my experience, these guys show that they know and value the importance of customer happiness and loyalty, so if the other review is accurate, they certainly learned from it and are much better now. I trust them and I recommend them.

As it turns out, neither of us needed the fillings that the other clinic had told us were necessary. After having mixed feelings about our old clinic (with good reason!), it feels great to find a dentist who will not recommend dental work that we don't need. Adelmann Dentistry is not nearby our home or work; I'm sure we passed dozens of dentists on our way to get there, but my only regret is not going to them sooner! My husband and I both had a great experience. Anne was my husband's hygienist and she was great! I had Jean, who is easily the most thorough and friendly hygienist I have ever had. Both Dr. Adelmann and Dr. Kokkinen were trustworthy, professional, and kind. Everyone we interacted with seemed happy that we were there and genuinely cared about us having a good experience. She spends more time with your needs as compared to other dentists there. To qualify that statement, Dr. Erickson seemed to be more conversant rather then just saying "everything looks good" or "we'll just monitor your progress". Overall if you dread going to the dentist, try out Park Dental Ridges you just might just have a better experience.

While seeing others they were really pushy at selling products and services. I generally do like going to the dentist so that adds an extra layer of anxiety. They did try to sell/recommend a few services but if I declined they moved on. Everyone I encountered was nice and professional. I had 2 appts within like 2 weeks and I chose the earliest time right at open 7am. Both appts went smoothly. The first one went a bit long as I was a new patient and had to have imaging and X-rays done. I like the monitors in the rooms that show the visuals as they explain things. Overall I like the setup of the rooms. Hopefully things continue to go well.
