He reluctantly weighed it and it turned out to be only 9 grams, which is light for a pendant at that price, especially considering it was made by an unknown maker and used cubic zirconia. When I pointed out that it seemed overpriced, David accused me of wasting his time--even though I was clearly asking respectful, informed questions about a potential purchase. I left the store feeling completely disrespected. His aggressive tone and dismissive behavior made me wonder if I was being judged based on my age or background. We took them to Kauffman's after seeing the wonderful reviews, and we couldn't be more pleased. The craftsmanship is spectacular. These are Ethan Allen chairs, and they look better than brand new. There is no reason to go out and ever buy brand new chairs. Find chairs with good bones, take them to Kauffman's to be reupholstered and you will be so much happier with the result. I cannot wait to find the next chairs to get done at Kauffmans. Their work is a work of art.

To my delight, the broken tip was so well repaired, I couldn't tell it was ever broken! I then proceeded to have Bossert's work on my French buffet that unsuccessfully made it from FL to our house in PA unscathed. One of the movers broke a drawer and some of the elaborate inlay and woodwork had chipped off. My husband told me to pitch it but I called Bossert's after seeing how well my finial turned out and he came to the house to review the buffet. He said it would take some time to repair it and it did take quite a few months but when it was returned, I cried--it was beautiful. Not only did Bossert's fill in the missing inlay, fix the draw to perfection and repair the chips such that I couldn't find them, he also lined the silverware drawers with felt. I was so pleased and now my husband likes the piece! Since that experience, I go to Bossert's for all my furniture repairs. Antique dining chairs have been taken apart and reglued and finished so I no longer fear when family members use them. I've also had 2 large wooden chairs sprayed in black lacquer. I was offered 800$ and left, went down to bucks county coin. I was given 3500$ cash on the spot. Yesterday I went in with stagecoach silver bars 10 of them, she tried to tell me they were fake. So then I went back to the auction house where I purchased them, we drove to another place to have them x ray'd and tested. Nothing was wrong with them. They were Pure silver, and I was paid 350$ for them by this collector. Needless to say I will never buy or sell coins from this establishment! And the way she handled the situation by trying to embarrass me and degrade me in front of other customers. Very unprofessional. And I'm from northampton, I'll be telling everyone I deal and collect with to stay away.
