But…read moreI went in there today, because my car told me I needed some oil in it so I looked up the kind of oil that my car takes and I yelped for the closest auto parts store which happened to be this one. I also knew I needed windshield wiper fluid...my car is what was making a weird noise when I turn so I thought maybe I needed power steering fluid. I went in I was helped very quickly and given solid answers to all my questions. I put a quart of oil in my car, my car took all of the windshield wiper fluid, and my power steering fluid was literally dry... I am so glad I stopped in and I fixed three problems in my car for under 30 bucks I felt like such a champ when I left! My poor car was driving me around needing all these things...I fixed her today! Save money on going to a mechanic and do it yourself! The guys at O'Reilly's were super helpful me out and saved me 15 bucks by offering me a product that was the same just less expensive...thank you!

My salesperson, Fulton, was excellent from start to finish. He was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with throughout the process. Carlos in Finance was also very pleasant and helpful. The real highlight of my visit, however, was Danny, who finalized all of my paperwork. Purchasing a vehicle can be a long and sometimes stressful process, but Danny's personality completely changed the experience. He was welcoming, funny, personable, and kept me laughing throughout the transaction. We quickly built rapport, and his positive attitude made the 4.5-hour process much more enjoyable. His customer service skills are outstanding, and he is a tremendous asset to Airport Marina Honda. My one area for improvement is the customer waiting experience. When customers are making a major financial commitment and spending several hours at the dealership, it would be nice to have some basic refreshments available. Even something as simple as bottled water or a popcorn machine would go a long way. Sitting in the dealership for over four hours during 90-degree summer weather with nothing offered was disappointing. That said, the excellent service provided by Fulton, Carlos, and especially Danny made the experience a positive one. Danny's charisma, humor, and professionalism truly turned what could have been a frustrating wait into an enjoyable experience.

EDIT: Spoke with Brian the GM and he did apologize for the experience. He was extremely friendly but unfortunately what is done is done. If we are in the market again for a car, I will try to contact Brian to give their dealer another chance. Will increase to 2 stars from 1 as he was very open to criticism and understood why we were upset with the whole situation.

I was tied up at work, however, I managed to give Kartek Automotive in Culver City, a call, about 6 minutes before they close, on a Thursday. My car had not started that morning, which forced me to pay for a ride to work that day. I was very impressed when someone actually answered the phone, right before their business hours ended. A friendly, understanding, and professional gentleman, identifying himself as Carlos, took my call and answered my questions. I gave him the make and model of my vehicle, then Carlos gave me some pricing of what I thought the problem might be pertaining to my fuel pump. Carlos stated that no work would be done on my car until a complete and thorough inspection was performed first, in order to identify the actual issue. I told him I appreciated that. I asked for pricing about a few additional services. Carlos put me on a brief hold, as he ran the numbers and came back with the cost. It sounded reasonable over the phone. I had my car towed to Kartek Automotive at 5879 Washington Bl. Culver City, CA 90232 Friday morning. I arrived early because I had to drop off my car and then catch a ride to work again. Kartek was still closed. I waited until I saw someone approach their office's front door. The official business hours had not started yet, so I did not want to intrude on their morning routine. I walked over and introduced myself to the gentleman that was opening for the day. I found out it was Carlos. The same person that took my call the night before. Carlos said he was ready to help. He remembered our previous conversation and understood that I would need to leave for work as soon as possible. He collected some information from me and I gave him a list of maintenance services I was interested in receiving if I could afford it all. I left him my car key and $1700 cash deposit. I was informed that I would receive a phone call in a couple of hours, after my car received a complete and thorough inspection/diagnostics, before any work was done. Nearly two hours later, on the dot, I received a call from Carlos. He explained that it was not my fuel pump. It turns out it was my starter and a bad battery. He gave me pricing for the repairs. Not cheap, however, reasonable for auto repairs. I asked about the other services I had inquired about and he was already way ahead of me. He had my quotes ready and also disclosed some essential performance and safety repairs that I should consider also. Again, pricing was reasonable. Cars are not cheap to run and maintain. My car is fourteen years old. It is cheaper to keep her. I have a 4-cylinder Civic that saves me a ton of money on gas and insurance. Repairs and scheduled maintenance are just part of the responsibility. This was my first experience with Kartek so I did not know how this would turn out. I put all of my eggs in one basket, just on the intuitive idea that Carlos was an actual professional, that wanted the best care for my car as much as I did. My gamble paid off and I got my wheels back Saturday and paid my balance. My car runs the best it's ever run before! A shit-ton of work was done, all in the matter of just over one day's time. It's damn near beyond belief! OUTSTANDING TECHNICIANS and top notch customer service every step of the way!!! They are a cash or Zelle only run business. Expect heavy processing fees if you choose to use anything else. You should know that going in. This place knows what they are doing and they do it all in a timely fashion. If you like prime rib, you go to Lawry's. If you like incredible sushi, you go to Nobu. If you like the best surf & turf you go to Mastro's. You get what you pay for. If you have a fast-food budget, maybe Kartek is not for you. They use only the best ingredients/components for your car's best possible outcome. The technicians are skilled craftspeople. Kartek is all about detail, quality, service, understanding, and professionalism. True value is worth paying for. Integrity is difficult to find these days. Kartek is truly priceless. Thank you Carlos and EVERYONE that touched my car. THANK YOU KARTEK CULVER CITY!!!!!!!!!!!!

There was no deposit and no need to refuel the loaner after its use. I shared that as feedback after my recent Lexus service. My service advisor Sergio was great and I said that clearly in my text to Kim. My only feedback was that I was surprised by the rental process requiring a deposit and gas refill, and that the rental had ants in it. That was it. While I was texting that feedback back, Kim from Client Experience was leaving me a voicemail. She didn't hang up properly, so the voicemail captured her reading my text out loud and criticizing it with colleagues in the background. It was very disappointing. I was not rude at all, I was giving honest feedback when asked. Feedback is not actually welcomed here. I still appreciate Sergio, but this shows why AI is replacing these jobs. I had a very disappointing experience with Ford Santa Monica…read more About a year after leasing my Ford Bronco from this dealership, I decided to sell the vehicle back to them to get out of my lease early. I even had to pay a significant amount of money out of pocket to terminate the lease early, so I expected the process to be handled promptly and professionally. Instead, it has now been over a month and a half, and the dealership still has not sent the payoff check to Ford Credit. As a result, my account has been reported late, I've already been hit with a late payment, and another payment is now due. All because the dealership has failed to complete the transaction. To make matters worse, I'm now receiving toll road violations for dates after I turned the vehicle over to the dealership. These charges are clearly not mine, yet I'm the one spending my time disputing them. I've been in constant contact with the Used Car Sales General Manager, Igor Pesin, who handled buying the vehicle back. Every time I ask for an update, I'm told it's "out of his hands" and that the billing department is responsible. Unfortunately, no one in the billing department answers the phone or returns voicemails. For the last three weeks, I've been calling the dealership almost every other day. Each time, I get transferred from one person to another, eventually sent to voicemail, and no one ever calls me back. I've also sent multiple emails to the dealership that have gone unanswered. At this point, it feels like everyone is avoiding the issue instead of resolving it. When I called Ford Credit, they confirmed they are still waiting for the dealership to submit the payoff. Rather than taking ownership of the situation or providing a solution, I was simply told to explain to Ford Credit and the toll agencies that I no longer own the vehicle. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and stressful. I paid money to end my lease early, yet I've been left dealing with late payments that could affect my credit, toll violations for a car I no longer own, and complete silence from the people who are supposed to resolve the issue. I expected much better customer service and accountability from Ford Santa Monica. I would strongly recommend thinking twice before doing business here.
