I opted to give the tip at the end. 2) upon entering my room, the sheets were damp so I felt a bit cold. If anything the sheets to lay in and drape over you should've been dry. Freshly warmed sheets and a heated table are even better. 3) the lady sneezed a few times in the room and even though my eyes were closed I don't think she sanitized her hands. Thankfully at this point, the drape was on me so she didn't touch my skin after sneezing. 4) although I walked out relaxed and the massage therapist got some knots out, about an hour later, my upper back felt a new kind of pain and feels out of adjustment. She adjusted me towards the end and I didn't expect that. I don't think they're supposed to do that. She was nice and the hot stones were great but the few details such as damp sheets, sneezing without disinfecting your hands.

The massage therapists talk to each other in very loud "whispers" and you can hear everyone speaking loudly in the reception area. This makes it hard to fully relax. Let me start by saying... I am not a massage therapist's favorite client. My body is basically made…read moreof rocks, boulders, and steel -- especially in my neck, shoulders, and upper back. So when Coco started my 2-hour session and asked what kind of pressure I wanted, I said: extra hard, please. And she did not hesitate. The first hour honestly felt like a full-on wrestling match (in the best way). Elbows working overtime, digging into every knot and layer of tension I've been carrying around. She may be small-framed, but the strength and control? Next level. I know some people feel a certain way about these Asian reflexology-style spots, but I don't discriminate -- because every once in a while, you find a someone who truly delivers. Coco is that person. After she worked on one side of my back, I had to stop and ask for her name so I could make sure I request her again. What stood out most was her understanding of leverage, pressure, and muscle release. She knew exactly how to find the hidden tension points and work through them. And when she hit areas that were especially tender, she adjusted -- shifting to slower, more controlled movements. At times, her rhythm even synced with my breathing, which helped the muscles release even more. That level of awareness? Rare. This is not a gentle, fall-asleep kind of massage -- and that's exactly what I want. I go for real work, to break through tightness and pain, and Coco delivered. If you're looking for a deep, no-nonsense massage that gets into those stubborn knots, Coco is your person. Yes, it's not for everyone -- and that's okay. But for me? I'll absolutely be back to see Coco.

I like to get 90 mins full body, the 90 min foot reflexology is also good but do the excellent prices, best to go full body. My friends love doing the four hand massage. I like to do girls gathering"spa day" here once a year while we all get massages at the same time then walk around downtown and grab lunch, Really, you can't go wrong. It's a gem of a place with great owners. I see some negative comments about tips, but it makes me appreciate the owner more for speaking up for fair tips and advocating for their staff. I always tip at least 30% (or more) because the therapists are the most skilled and really deserve it.

I try to be understanding, especially when there may be a language barrier. However, I have…read moreconcerns about how this business handles tipping expectations. The massage itself was excellent. In fact, I was so happy with my therapist that I thought I would likely become a regular customer and come in at least twice a month since I work on my feet all day. I tipped over 20%, which I felt was a generous tip for the service I received. However, after paying, I was directed to a sign suggesting that I should have tipped $20 and was encouraged to leave an additional $5 to bring the tip up to that amount. Not only did this feel uncomfortable, but it also felt like I was being shamed for not tipping enough, even though I had already tipped more than 20%, which most people would consider a standard and fair tip for good service. It's not that the therapist wasn't deserving of an extra few dollars--it's the way the expectation was communicated that rubbed me the wrong way. If the business wants to guarantee employees a certain level of compensation, that should be built into the service price rather than relying on customers to meet a specific tip amount. My suggestion would be to eliminate tipping altogether and simply advertise the true price of the service upfront. For example, if the goal is for the therapist to receive an additional $20 per massage, then charge $80 for the massage and clearly state that gratuity is included. This creates transparency, eliminates awkward tipping conversations, guarantees fair compensation for therapists, and ensures customers know exactly what to expect with no surprises. With how the situation was handled, I'm questioning whether the employee is actually receiving the full tip amount. Overall, it didn't feel transparent or trustworthy, and for that reason I will not be returning.
