We have recently had a twenty year old aluminium patio sliding door and two glass units in a kitchen window replaced by Brackenwood. The result is lovely, and the new UPVC frame surprisingly looks warmer and more appropriate than the original. We would highly recommend Brackenwood to anyone considering double glazing in the central southern area. Design consultant (Natalie) appeared less than 24 Hrs after our original phone call and she was helpful, pleasant and un-pushy. A quotation was produced very promptly. The survey stage followed about a week later and we were kept closely informed regarding manufacture and likely delivery dates. As it turned out delivery was much sooner than predicted. Fitters (Dany and Denton) arrived on time and worked very hard, completing the installation by about 1pm. They even took care to conceal a loudspeaker cable which greatly improved the appearance of the room. Generous technical advice from Rob in the central office was very welcome. A minor fault with the locking system was followed up and corrected within an hour of reporting it on Saturday morning by (Jim) which was very reassuring. We Had a door that was leaking the sales rep came round we stated what we wanted, She measured up gave great advise on what doors they had. We choose our door and was affordable with our budget. A few days later the sales Rep contacted us to say the door we had chosen was to big for our opening. So she came back round and gave us some options and we had to replace the little side window as well as the door on our new selection and they will be in touch with us shortly as she was going to speak with her manager. In the next couple of days the manager called to discuss the issue and the cost of the new side window. The issue was resolved with very pleasing result to our budget. On the day our fitter turned up on time was very polite and kind, when finished he cleaned up and left it all looking lovely. from start to finish Brackenwood we're excellent the initial sales guy was very professional and explained everything and also what options I had the surveyor who came next again was very knowledgeable and pointed out any issues that he could see and ways to rectify those issues once agreed and order was placed I received regular updates from the office staff about dates to have windows fitted the fitters arrived in time and again were very professional explaining everything they were doing and the schedule of work over the four days. when finished they cleared up and went through everything to make sure I was happy before they left overall a great experience and would def recommend read more

Brackenwood installed a new front door & 2 windows in early-March. It was probably the worst day of the year. Despite the snow, sleet & rain that the guys had to put up with for 5 hours they never complained and were extremely professional. They did a great job - very neat & tidy. Great service by all of the team, including sales, admin team and installers. If there was some improvement, it would be not have been the rush by the installers on the last day that led to some areas of filling being missed off. Also a better finish could have been done on inside Window sill that was replaced on our bay window. read more
