A very unpleasant experience. The staff were professional, however the Dentist was not. She did…read morenot introduce herself, so I guess she was Dr. Crawford. I went in for a removable retainer. She looked in my mouth without gloves and she did not wash her hands. She would not make a mold of my teeth without doing x- rays and she wanted to cement a retainer in. It was a very unprofessional experience. I asked for a Dentist recommendation since she was unable to perform the reason for my visit and the referral wanted between 600 to 800 dollars for a retainer. I would run away from this practice. Also, I was told to arrive 15 min. prior to my 1:30 appointment which I did, and the practice wasn't even open until 1:30. I would not recommend this practice.

The front desk team greeted me with genuine smiles, and check-in was quick and easy. My hygienist was gentle, thorough, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I loved the little extras--headphones, Netflix, and even a warm blanket. Those touches really help take the edge off a dental visit. Dr. Buchanan was amazing. She took her time explaining everything, answered my questions without rushing, and was honest about what I needed (and what I didn't). I never felt pressured, just cared for. I actually left feeling relaxed and confident about my dental health--which is not something I've ever said after going to the dentist. Mint Dentistry and Dr. Buchanan have definitely earned a lifelong patient.

Forward me all the necessary paperwork. They walked me through what the initial visit would be like. When we arrived, we got checked in. They showed my son how he would check in each visit if we went with then. Dr Mibab then came out to introduce himself. He said they would scan my son's teeth then we would talk. My son went back for a scan. Maybe 5 minutes later, we went back for the consultation. He explained what would be adjusted to get the smile my son wanted. He explained the treatment procedure and layout of the payment plan. Fast forward about 9 months, we are still happy with then service here. He shows the gradual change to my son's teeth that are taking place. My son is happy with the improvement. We only had 1 communication issues since going. It was addressed immediately and resolved. Good customer service. Dr Mibab said something to me as well about it, which I did appreciate. I would recommend this office. My son is doing a great job with his treatment. I am satisfied with the money I am paying. I will say if you can get double coverage on your kids. We are divorced and it helps tremendously with medical and dental bills! Covid- they have hand sanitizer at the counter. They request just the child or patient enter right now. If they need me, they call me to let me know update or invite me in to show visuals. Every single person wears a mask.

I've been a patient here for around six years. They accept many forms of insurance but not Medicaid. They also accept Care Credit as payment. I had all four wisdom teeth removed a few years ago. They made the experience as comfortable as possible. I was given numbing shots in my gums and nitrous gas to sleep. I woke up a few times, said some really stupid things, and went back to sleep. I felt absolutely no pain, even when I was conscious. They provided me with plenty of painkillers afterwards and instructed me on how to take care of my mouth while healing. I just had a brand new retainer made by Dr. Lofters. It fits well. He taught me how to take care of it so it doesn't get scratched or stained. These people are the real deal!

My son who has a disability does not always follow the instructions. I explained this to them but they still were going to charge me twice the contractual price because they were unhappy with him. I am seriously considering changing orthodontists but it may be too late! They did finally drop the charges but I feel this was totally uncalled for. Also my younger son who was referred to the orthodontist to help him break a finger sucking habit still sucks his fingers after his braces have been out. Now they will place a device to break the habit for an additional cost. I have already paid thousands for the braces and now finally they will treat what initially took me there for an extra cost.

We all know everyone despises going to the dentist, their profession is rated as the most-dreaded visit we all have to eventually concede to if we want to eat in our lives :) And food is so good that you know you want to have teeth to eat it with! The location is a small building sort of hidden away behind some residential area --- my TomTom could not find it, but my phone GPS could. Look for the large green signage "Tony Kim, DDS". Upon arrival, there is a small private parking lot, and you enter the lobby where there's the wife/secretary that handles all phone calls and billing and appointments. She speaks English and Korean and Chinese. She is very friendly and will call you the day ahead to make sure you can make the appointment. The lobby is large with seating for probably a dozen people/patients, has magazines for you to browse and another area for kids. There is pleasant music playing in the background. The dental assistant will come get you when your appointment arrives, usually not a long wait 15 minutes average and 1 hour at most [due to someone else having surgery before me]. I was led past several rooms and into the chair, where I met dentist Tony Kim. He speaks English and Korean, and is a very friendly person --- this really makes a difference when you are getting your teeth done, and have sharp pointy things in your mouth...possibly for hours, like me! I really find his personality gentle and kind, as was his assistant. Both were very focused and had little chit-chat while I sat/laid out hours having my root canal/crown/cavities done. This is nice because my last dentist was super talkative to others, and loud and I didn't feel relaxed. Here at Kim's DDS, I was always relaxed and was told what was happening. It's been about 2 months and I've had all the dental work done, and while it was super expensive [to me as I'm poor and don't have dental insurance], as I didn't compare too much at other dentists, though I did compare online prices and it was comparable --- overall, it was the most pleasant experience I ever had! That's crazy to say at the dentist, but it's true. I went in with severe nerve pain due to cavities I had waited years to fix, and I left with no pain and a smile. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND, ask for price savings and breakdown of billing, and mention my name please --- we can both save some money! I hope in the future, I'll take care of my teeth, but if I don't due to yummy food, I at least know my experience at Tony Kim's will be more of a dream than a nightmare. PS. I actually fell asleep a couple times during the procedures, thank goodness for numbing solutions and a calming environment and cool dentist! He also took my appointment on short notice the day I called, and he stayed after his usual hours to work on me --- that is exceptional service!

Mrs. Kim is charge for all the price but never honest and always has different things to be charged at the end.
