Dr. Pesh's time is valuable, and I was surprised that he spent the amount of time with me that he did- examining my jaws, teeth, x ray, the pictures from earlier in the consult and answering all of my follow up questions. I really appreciated his honest and detailed insights. Get this - he didn't want to know what other orthos said until AFTER his own evaluation. What a champ! You can tell he's a sharp guy who is level-headed and wants the best for the patient. His staff exceeded my expectations for professionalism, cleanliness and kindness. There was a nice blonde lady who performed the first part of the consult and she was so kind, clean and professional. There was also the dark haired lady who I believe was the treatment coordinator and she was very kind and professional as well. None of them, including Dr Pesh, were pushy at all. In the end, we both chose not to pursue the treatment, because for me, cutting bone / surgery wasn't on my wishlist - and he agreed. I myself had to sit at the kids table that they have in the lobby just to get off my feet for a second after standing for over 30 minutes. And the craziest thing is a few times, I have been asked to reschedule things because of what they "didn't have time for" despite my appointment being scheduled by them months in advance. I'm sorry, but if I've already had to rearrange my schedule because you're running behind, we're doing this TODAY. The audacity! And this isn't a one off experience, this happens every single time I have an appointment. I have began to just anticipate canceling any other things that I have planned because I always end up being ridiculously late. Trying to get the kids to school after the appointment? Probably not! Simple things like cleanings can take a 3 hour chunk out of your day. Again, great once you actually get seen, but I'd advise you to plan on sitting here for a while. Bring tablets.

She is very easy to talk to, did not judge me for not being to the dentist for 9 years. She didn't try to "up-sell" me on services. She just offered information. Once we settled on a plan of action, the billing person came back and went over all the information clearly and also did not attempt to pressure me into spending my kiddo's college fund on my mouth. Then the actual work began...I needed drilling done...YIKES! Dr. Sherpa brought out The Needle...if ya know, ya know...to numb my gums. That thing looks like a medieval torture device! However, again, Dr. Sherpa knew what she was doing, and I actually didn't feel it much at all. She got right to work and fixed me up. I was on my way within two hours and was as good as new! She and her staff did such a great job that I have already scheduled follow-up appointments for polishing and cleaning. That may sound like a normal thing, but again...I hated going, so me, it is a very big deal! These were only discovered after I developed gum swelling and pain and was referred to an endodontist, who informed me the tooth could not be saved. When I notified BrightNow, the office manager initially said they would help with the costs. However, after seeing their once‑a‑month oral surgeon, I was told they could not perform the procedure due to my medical condition and their facility limitations. After that, the communication changed--no referral, no follow‑up, and no assistance. I was told I would be responsible for all costs. After weeks of waiting for them to "check with their director," the final answer was still no. My new dental provider later confirmed that there were actually two cavities under the bridge that had gone undiagnosed for years. I have also made repeated attempts to obtain my dental records, but the office has not responded. It raises a serious question: why go to the dentist regularly for preventive care--just like we do with healthcare providers--if significant issues aren't identified or addressed? My experience raises concerns about MISSED DIAGNOSES, LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY, and POOR COMMUNICATION.
