I can honestly say the experience was refreshingly good compared to other ortho consults I've had. Dr. Pesh's time is valuable, and I was surprised that he spent the amount of time with me that he did- examining my jaws, teeth, x ray, the pictures from earlier in the consult and answering all of my follow up questions. I really appreciated his honest and detailed insights. Get this - he didn't want to know what other orthos said until AFTER his own evaluation. What a champ! You can tell he's a sharp guy who is level-headed and wants the best for the patient. His staff exceeded my expectations for professionalism, cleanliness and kindness. There was a nice blonde lady who performed the first part of the consult and she was so kind, clean and professional. There was also the dark haired lady who I believe was the treatment coordinator and she was very kind and professional as well. None of them, including Dr Pesh, were pushy at all. In the end, we both chose not to pursue the treatment, because for me, cutting bone / surgery wasn't on my wishlist - and he agreed. He could have easily sold me some Invisalign or something but I wouldn't have really seen the changes I wanted after treatment and he was totally honest about it. Thank you for your time Dr. Pesh.

I have 2 kiddos with autism and they are incredibly caring and patient with them. My daughter loves coming here, and the mini arcade is a wonderful addition for antsy kids... But when the waiting room is full of kids, there aren't enough arcade games for everyone, and you are sitting anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour past your appointment time waiting to be called, it completely overshadows all the good about this place. There often aren't enough seats for people to sit leaving many families standing or leaning against the walls. I myself had to sit at the kids table that they have in the lobby just to get off my feet for a second after standing for over 30 minutes. And the craziest thing is a few times, I have been asked to reschedule things because of what they "didn't have time for" despite my appointment being scheduled by them months in advance. I'm sorry, but if I've already had to rearrange my schedule because you're running behind, we're doing this TODAY. The audacity! And this isn't a one off experience, this happens every single time I have an appointment. I have began to just anticipate canceling any other things that I have planned because I always end up being ridiculously late. Trying to get the kids to school after the appointment? Probably not! Simple things like cleanings can take a 3 hour chunk out of your day. Again, great once you actually get seen, but I'd advise you to plan on sitting here for a while. Bring tablets.

Once last year, and once today (it has been months since I typed this up). I have been looking for another dentist that takes my insurance but the few local ones I have called don't take my insurance, so I decided to give this place another shot. The reasons I didn't want to come back were because of the dentist and because this office would not stop calling me to make an appointment. To the point where it was not helpful or caring, but honestly just annoying. I kept telling them I will call and schedule. Then they would call me regarding my husband's appointments... and one time they even made him an appointment that he wasn't aware of. Anyway, none of that would keep me from going back... the problem to me is that the dentist seems to rush, is a bit aggressive (I have never told someone to stop the cleaning except her), and is kind of ... how should I say it politely ... insensitive. She was not only in quite a hurry while cleaning my teeth pretty aggressively and making rude comments when I would tell her to stop because she was hurting me, but she was also pretty rude towards her staff. Specially the new guy. I felt bad for him... but anyway this review has been in my drafts and I am finally posting my drafts because I am so tired of supporting businesses that do not deserve my support. Hope this helps someone.

Here is the TLDR (Even after making an appointment got pushed two hours later and if you're not…read morecareful about listening, they will charge you and make you pay out-of-pocket) I'm giving this place a one star based off the service I had. I was trying to find a new dentist due to my insurance changing. I had An appointment scheduled By the office for 12:30. Three days before the appointment(2 of the days they are closed) They asked me if I can change my appointment to 10:30 AM which is fine as it didn't really affect my schedule and I was able to move things around to get in earlier. When I show up, they tell me it's gonna be another 30 minute wait. I then don't get seen until 12. Then on top of that It's about 12:30 at this point And they ask if I would like to get my cavities filled and teeth cleaned today? I said yes and they told me they will have the office manager, come talk to me about my insurance and what it will cover. I she gave me all the quotes and I told her I don't want the special care treatment and I said " well I don't want anything that my insurance doesn't cover" Then they replied well that's $400 out-of-pocket .So after about 5 to 10 minutes of me, trying to figure out why my insurance does not cover normal cleaning They finally said yes $400 is for the special care treatment. They said "you can brush and scrape off all The buildup, but without the special treatment, it's Useless." So I said that's fine. I just need the cleaning. I don't want the special stuff. The response I got was " OK oh well, it's up to you. It's your mouth and teeth". So after I denied the $400 Out of pocket charge, apparently the doctor that was going to do the cleaning is now "on lunch" So now they can't do any work and they're gonna have to set an appointment and the next available appointment is A month out.

I am very happy that I did not see the rating for this office before I went because I likely would have not have gone. It seems that the previous dentist was less than average. The new one is fantastic! I haven't been to the dentist in almost a decade...not because I don't have insurance but because I HATE going! Unfortunately, I broke a tooth and had to go. First, they were able to see me within 48 hrs which was amazing! Second, while the front desk person was hard to hear, she was nice and the rest of the staff was great! Then...the dreaded chair. As stated, I don't have the best history with the dental chair, so I was anxious about being in it once again. However, once Dr. Sherpa came in, I was instantly at ease! She is very easy to talk to, did not judge me for not being to the dentist for 9 years. She didn't try to "up-sell" me on services. She just offered information. Once we settled on a plan of action, the billing person came back and went over all the information clearly and also did not attempt to pressure me into spending my kiddo's college fund on my mouth. Then the actual work began...I needed drilling done...YIKES! Dr. Sherpa brought out The Needle...if ya know, ya know...to numb my gums. That thing looks like a medieval torture device! However, again, Dr. Sherpa knew what she was doing, and I actually didn't feel it much at all. She got right to work and fixed me up. I was on my way within two hours and was as good as new! She and her staff did such a great job that I have already scheduled follow-up appointments for polishing and cleaning. That may sound like a normal thing, but again...I hated going, so me, it is a very big deal! I am also switching my kids to her...she doesn't know it yesterday, but she is about to get a lot me time! :) All in all, I would definitely recommend this place. Hopefully, more ppl will give Dr. Sherpa and her staff a chance to prove how great they are!

Despite regular visits, two cavities under my bridge were never identified. These were only discovered after I developed gum swelling and pain and was referred to an endodontist, who informed me the tooth could not be saved. When I notified BrightNow, the office manager initially said they would help with the costs. However, after seeing their once‑a‑month oral surgeon, I was told they could not perform the procedure due to my medical condition and their facility limitations. After that, the communication changed--no referral, no follow‑up, and no assistance. I was told I would be responsible for all costs. After weeks of waiting for them to "check with their director," the final answer was still no. My new dental provider later confirmed that there were actually two cavities under the bridge that had gone undiagnosed for years. I have also made repeated attempts to obtain my dental records, but the office has not responded. It raises a serious question: why go to the dentist regularly for preventive care--just like we do with healthcare providers--if significant issues aren't identified or addressed? My experience raises concerns about MISSED DIAGNOSES, LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY, and POOR COMMUNICATION. They are friendly when bringing you in as a patient, but that changed when a serious issue came to light. In my eyes, their rating is "0".
