Not What I Ordered Although the flowers that were delivered look nice and were well received, they are far different from what I ordered and paid for. I asked that some of the white roses be replaced with pink ones. There are approximately 16 white roses in the website ordered photo and only 6 roses in what was delivered. I would expect some variation between stock images and delivered bouquets, but is a bit much. I ordered the premium boquest for $185 + $30 for delivery. read more

Ordered a mixed flower bouquet for my daughter. This is what was delivered for $85.00 plus an $11.00 delivery fee and tax. This bouquet doesn't look like $85.00 me but you be the judge. When contacted the owner insists that this is an $85.00 arrangement. You be the judge. Owner did offer to deliver more flowers or reduce cost of arrangement which I refused since neither would change my disappointment with what had been delivered. read more

I have worked with Linda and Amanda for many years sending personal arraignments all over the county and have NEVER been disappointed!! This summer they did a wedding that I helped plan, and a family funeral. The wedding was AMAZING... they even helped set up some decorations that the bride made without being asked.. the room/ arbor looked BEAUTIFUL!!!! Braach's is a must see if you're in the Norwalk area. They have gorgeous floral arrangements that suit any occasion. The staff are super helpful. I came in looking for an anniversary gift for my boyfriend. They recommended the Ducanan men's line, which was a unique gift at a reasonable price! They also have delicious truffles and witty greeting cards. I could spend all day looking through the trinkets ranging from mugs to candles to toys to hand-made jewelry. I live in FL and had to send flowers for a funeral in CT. The funeral palor reccommend a different shop but I wasn't thrilled with the website or selections, so I yelped florest in Stamford. Braach's which is in Norwalk had 2 good reviews, fair prices, and a nice website, so I gave them a call. The woman that answerd, sorry I forget her name, was very pleasent, competent, and helpful. She worked with me on the size of the basket and the price. I asked her to call me when the flowers were delivered and she did. My Uncle said the flowers were beautiful; if I'd seen them myself I am sure this would have been a 5 star review. All seems to have went well. Thank you Braach's and unnamed helper! read more

Bad communication, someone called me to notify me that I was getting a delivery and I stated that I did not want the flowers, anyway they delivered it. ( they most likely didn't want to loose a sale.) I called and spoke to the owner and her response was give it to a neighbor, I shouldn't have to do this after I gave YOU people my instructions. Neither my fiancee nor I really knew entirely what we wanted, or exactly how much of each thing we needed, but Braach's was a humongous help! Hired Braach's to do the flowers for my bridesmaids and I. When I first met with Linda I thought they were amazing. I showed her photos of exactly how I wanted My bouquet shaped and the the bridesmaids. We discussed colors and types of flowers as well. Fast forward to the day of the wedding and my bouquet looked NOTHING like the photo I showed and emailed to her. In fact, we could hardly tell my bouquet apart from the bridesmaids. When we called the shop we were told she was setting up another wedding and they would "try" to get a hold of her. After 30 minutes of us continuously calling we were finally given Linda's cell phone number. When we called her she said she was extremely disappointed as she thought she used the most beautiful flowers and that at this point there was nothing she could do because she was at another wedding. She did offer a refund for my bouquet, but that didn't change the fact that my flowers turned out nothing like what I wanted. To say I was disappointed in the service and lack of professionalism would be an understatement. I would NOT recommend this florist to anyone. read more

I hired Braach's House of Flowers for the floral arrangements at m wedding. The consultant we spoke to was very knowledgeable and creative. She helped me rethink my design to work with winter flowers and create a cohesive look from rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony to reception. I really loved their vases and other decor items. After our initial meeting we communicated by e-mail which was not very reliable. Some of the flower arrangements were not the exact color combinations I requested. I would chalk that up to it being winter and not their incompetence. On the whole, all of the flowers were beautiful. My bouquet especially was stunning and they even wrapped flowers for my hair on short notice. The bridesmaids bouquets dried wonderfully and will make a great keepsake. The best part is that they are really reasonably priced. If I didn't like going to the flower market so much myself, I would defiantly hire them again for other events. read more

I just got off the phone with the most lovely person, Linda. My husband forgot to send his sweet sister flowers for their shared birthday. I asked for a spring arrangement delivered last week. I explained how I wanted it to look. When I received a photo of the arrangement I was extremely disappointed. I spent over $60 and the arrangement looked like a tacky $25 grocery store purchase. This was their last chance, I ordered a $160 arrangement sent to a family funeral in January 2015. When I saw what was delivered versus what we spoke about on the phone I was not satisfied. I have ordered floral arrangements from them over the past 4-5 years from out of state. I was very satisfied until the last two purchases. Too much money to spend on a gift that is not predictable. Most friends and family aren't going to tell you the flowers weren't satisfactory. Perhaps this florist is taking advantage of the fact that I am ordering from out of state & won't see the arrangement (counts on the family being too gracious to comment negatively). read more

I recently ordered flowers for a business associate after a death in her family and gave Braach's her office address as the only contact information we had available. I asked to be sent a copy of the receipt. When I received that receipt, I realized that the arrangement had been delivered some distance away to the woman's home address. I was a hopeless bride when it came to choosing flowers, I just knew I wanted a casual bouquet for our casual brunch wedding within our budget and we didn't really have a color scheme. Linda was so easy to work and brainstorm with, she truly understood the vision we had for our wedding day that I left feeling confident in her flower choices. I bought a bouquet of flowers and a balloon for a special occasion and was pretty disappointed. First, I have never paid so much money for a bouquet of flowers, but I was willing to do it for a big occasion. I called earlier in the morning to place an order to be picked up late afternoon and agreed with the person on the phone that the bouquet would consist of 10 flowers of one type and 6 flowers of a different type for the agreed price. When I showed up to pick up the bouquet, I noticed that there were only 6 flowers of one type and 3 flowers of the other type - half of what we agreed upon earlier that morning. I had asked what happened to the other flowers and was told that the price of the flowers I requested was actually higher than what they had specified when I made the order that morning and to still fit into the agreed upon price, they simply included fewer flowers in the bouquet. I had no choice at that point, but to purchase what was there, but I would not come back to this florist again. read more
