You can't use your credit card in the pump. And they do prefer cash. Go to Gene's. Keep this small town, family business going. And enjoy filling your tank, even though the prices are still awful. There is no way we would have been able to do this without assistance. My water softener is almost out. So, picking up the salt (somehow, some way) was urgent. Friend and I were able to complete the rest of our shopping (as much as we could tolerate) without issues. Just a delightful shopping experience thanks to the Costco staff assistance. Maybe they should look into hiring some people to work here. We also have a Sam's Club membership and they do something really great there where they let you walk around and scan your own items you pay as you're walking around and you walk out the door with your receipt. We made it & once there, he repaired our tire & put it back on. All of that & was super friendly but the huge shocker, charged a very fair price.
