The brisket sandwich was loaded with thick, juicy slices of perfectly smoked brisket that was tender, flavorful, and had just the right amount of smoky bark. The bun held up without getting soggy, and the subtle sauce complemented the meat without overpowering it. The paper wrapping that the sandwich was in is now a different story. The wrapping itself does not hold up to the heat, the hot sauces and the fabulous sliced meat. The paper inside wrapping kinda fell apart on the sandwhich and i spent more time peeling pieces off the meats. Hands down though one of the best gas station briskets I've ever had. The BBQ sandwich was equally impressive -- sweet, tangy pulled pork (or chopped beef?) with a perfect balance of smoke and seasoning. It was messy in the best way possible, packed with flavor, and left me completely satisfied. For any road trip food, this is next-level. Fresh, hot, and way better than most BBQ joints I've tried. If you're at Buc-ee's, do yourself a favor and get both -- you won't regret it! Highly recommend. 10 out of 10 would stop in again on my next drive through Texas/Mississippi/Florida & Alabama!

What do you get when you cross a gas station with Disney World? You get Buc-ee's. Actually, scratch…read morethat. You get the Disney World of gas stations... if Disney had 100 gas pumps, brisket carving stations, and a beaver mascot judging your snack choices. I pulled in thinking I'd grab a quick fill up and maybe a sad bag of chips. Rookie mistake. This place is the size of a small country. You don't "stop" at Buc-ee's. You commit to it. First off, the pumps. There are so many pumps you start wondering if they're preparing for the apocalypse. No waiting, no nonsense, just pull up and go. Then you walk inside and it hits you. This is not a convenience store. This is a full blown experience. It's like Walmart, a barbecue joint, and a souvenir shop had a very successful child. And then you hear it... "Fresh brisket on the board!" That's not an announcement. That's a call to action. The barbecue is legit. Not "good for a gas station" good. Just straight up good. The turkey sandwich is my go to, piled high and paired with those fresh cooked chips that disappear faster than your willpower. You walk in thinking snack. You walk out with a full meal and possibly a dessert you didn't plan on. Now let's talk about the walls. Not shelves. Walls. Wall of jerky. Wall of trail mix. Wall of fountain drinks. It's like they asked, "How much is too much?" and then doubled it. The store is spotless. And I mean spotless. The bathrooms deserve their own five star review. I've seen hotel bathrooms that should take notes. Then there's the gift shop. Because of course there is. T-shirts, hats, random stuff you didn't know you needed but suddenly can't live without. And somewhere in the middle of it all, a giant beaver mascot casually walking around like this is completely normal. Service is fast, friendly, and somehow still efficient despite the chaos of people wandering around in snack-induced awe. Great food. Great prices. Endless selection. More gas pumps than logic would suggest. Five stars all day. Honestly, if Buc-ee's started selling tickets, I'd consider a season pass.

There is also parking tractor trailers so if they need a few hours sleep where to take a break it seems they can do so. They also offer a Krispy Krunchy Chicken place and gyros here and there is also a Waffle House next door. Pricing was competitive for this particular exit, though I felt a bit high when compared to other exits off of Interstate 10. The gas station is located just across the street from a KOA and behind it is a Holiday Inn Express and Suites. Just down the street is a Best Western. The parking lot is pretty big. Inside they have the beer, soda and snacks that you would expect in a gas station convenience store. This exit is just east of Pensacola and all in all not a bad place to stop for gas and maybe grab something to eat. I would give them a recommendation for that, but can't say it is a great place.

There apparently is only one way in and one way out, I looked like an idiot trying to escape this place. Secondly, like another reviewer stated, their price was so much higher than elsewhere... so the "convenience" of gassing up before we left was at a higher cost. I believe we paid $4.39/gallon. Luckily, we only had to fill about 1/2 tank... it wasn't on E.

It has an excellent selection of beer and wine (excellent for a convenience store...even if the dysfunctional parking lot means that most of the parking places are unusable if people are actually using the gas pumps, which is almost always). No kidding, there are multiple IPAs and ales that you simply aren't going to find at any other convenience store in the Pcola metro. Get there before 2 pm and you can get grub at the attached Down Home Kitchen, which has some really good eats. And there's a car wash, which I've never used, but the fuel pumps take a ridiculous amount of time to reach the "I'm fueling up now!" stage, because they try to upsell you to purchase a wash, use a rewards card, and play Space Invaders. *ctrl c ctrl c ctrl c*

I'm not really brand loyal but I do normally frequent newer C-Stores when it comes to pumping gas. Today 87 octane was $2.899 per gallon I pulled in to fuel the Subaru out of curiosity more than anything. I was surprised to find a number of the pumps displayed the famous yellow "out of order" bags over the pumps and the rest had customers either pumping fuel or inside the store so I had to circle the fuel islands several times to get a pump (not the best first experience). Well one finally freed up and I filled up, everything worked fine including the receipt dispenser and the place looked well maintained- I did visit the restroom and it was clean as they stated on their website so they seem to deliver on that promise so except for playing musical chairs at the gas pumps all appears to be okay...
