FIRST!! This…read morelocation is often call the Ghetto 7-11. If you visit here often you will see why. If you come after sun down. You are more likely to see some of this action. This location is old, the tile floor looks dirty and the bathroom walls look as if homeless people have been regurgitating food and beer on them for about 20 years. They recently upgraded the lighting to all LED which makes the store nice and bright. Just does not help with the physical appearance of the place. They have some hot food. Service is usually kind of slow and many times its better and quicker to travel the extra 3 miles to the 711 on Airport.

As I was about to pull off I noticed that my total was 99.01. I very specifically pressed the regular button which is highlighted in red and has the number 87 on it. I was teaching my daughter about pumping gas so I know for certain that was the button I selected. I went back to the store and ask for a receipt and the owner states that I must have selected supreme at 4.49 a gallon. Avoid this gas station if at all possible but if you use it make sure to get a receipt.

So I let Yelp find me a station (which doesn't sell gas and so I've reviewed it) and then another station up the street. It was easy enough to get into with a car - I would not recommend this station with an RV or truck. And looking now at the gasbuddy.com page, there is gas much cheaper - 14 cents a gallon less - at the BP at Apollo and Sarno. Oh, well.

Getting in and out of the parking lot is so bad I'm shocked more accidents don't happen. The staff here is happy and friendly. I mean, with the crazy type of traffic that rolls throught this spot, how could you not smile and crack up all day/night. They have all the same hot food you can find at all 711 locations. 6 flavors of Slurpee, donuts come everyday. They coffee is constantly being brewed.

If you hate homeless people and don't want their patronage, you probably should not build across from a mission that serves them and has been there for many many years. Instead, this particular Wawa removed all their outside picnic tables because they didn't want them to sit there and hired an armed guard (in a great part of town, where no one was concerned and still is not about violence) to keep the homeless out. They then put in self checkouts where there used to be cashiers. That was a bad mistake , the workers are the only thing that makes anyone go to this Wawa. They have a great staff. They're super friendly., if something's wrong on an order they fix it without question. The best employee of all is the African-American man who makes smoothies and coffee. He's the only reason I give this place three STARS. He's 5 star the store is a 1 maybe a 1.5.
