Stay away! Grelis Ruiz, the owner, is a dishonest person!…read moreI went to Bent Rim Repair for 2 used tires. After the tires were installed, my Jeep had a vibration, it didn't have a vibration before this. I went right back to the store, and was offered a solution. They didn't have any more tires that size, so they put my 2 old tires back on and gave me a refund. When my card was run through the card reader, it said "transaction unsuccessful. " The card reader said it was refunded, but the refund never went through. I was told to give it a couple days, because sometimes refunds take longer, so I did. I went back about a week later, and told them there was still no refund. I was told come back again, because maybe the refund still needed more tome to go through. When I returned the second time, Grelis told me that I would have to check with my bank to see what the problem with my refund was. I called the bank, and the bank told me that there was no record of this refund, and that the problem must be with Bent Rim Repair's bank. Now, I believe that the card reader simply had a problem sending the refund, because it said "transaction unsuccessful." And this was told to Grelis Ruiz. She told me she'd like to keep my receipt from the refund, so she could use it to "look into the problem." She gave me a reprint of the receipt to use instead. We'll, I didn't look very close at the reprinted receipt before leaving the store, but I wish I did. This is the part where she was being dishonest. The reprinted receipt said I was given a cash refund. I DID NOT RECEIVE A CASH REFUND. My transaction was only with my debit card. I returned to the store another time, with bank statements to show I never received a refund to my account. The store manager got Grelis on the phone. Grelis said she remembered me at the store, and said she was almost 100% certain she gave me a cash refund. SHE LIED! Grelis then said she looked at the security tapes and it shows her giving me a cash refund. SHE IS LYING! I fully believe she gave me the reprinted receipt as a cash refund on purpose, and then proceeded to lie about what happened. This transaction started out as a digital problem with their card reader, but then turned into an outright lie! I believe she "remembered me" at the store, because she knows what she did was wrong. I know this store has a lot of positive reviews. But, I'm telling you, BEWARE! Now, I'll never see my refund. And, if you have a problem, you may never get your refund either!​

In this case I bought my tires from another source, and brought it here to have these new tires put on and balanced. Most places don't offer this service anymore due because they don't want to be responsible if something were to happen and it wasn't a tire they provided you. But this place worked with me and was happy to put the tires on and balance them. The 2nd time I had to get a used tire and luckily they had my size for a Dodge Challenger, and it was a good brand. I had continentals and the 1 used tire they had was a Kumho. The tire had lots of thread and it was a good deal they gave me. On my most recent and 3rd visit I had a flat and I couldn't find where the hole was. So they took the car in the back and found that there was a small hole...They patched it, and charged me only $5.
