I called and even drove back to the gas station as soon as I realized my wallet was missing and asked them if anybody seen or returned a wallet? They told me no, and when I asked if the gas station had a camera they told me no. But I'm sure every gas station you go to is equipped with cameras. So I decided to get in touch with someone from their store and I had asked them if they have any cameras at this pacific location and they told me yes. So I told them that I had called and one of their employee told me they didn't have any. Really suspicious. Then they also told me that someone will check into the surveillance camera on the day I was there pumping gas and would get back to me in a 48-72 hours. I said okay. A week goes by nobody has gotten in touch with me. So I decided to reach out again and they told me the same thing that they'll escalate it to management and someone will get in touch with me within 3-5 business days. I said okay. Another week goes by no one still hasn't reach out to me and now I'm getting very upset. So I called and reach out to someone again and ask them what's taking so long for someone to contact me because now its been almost a month since someone gotten in touch with me. So I asked if I should go there in person and as soon as I said that they got back to me right away. So they were reviewing the camera and once they got to the date I was there. They claim there were no footage of me from the time I was there but there was a clip from an hour after I was there. Very fishy!! And also said they only have motion sensor and that the camera didn't show the last pump I was at. So after all this. I don't think I'll ever bring my business here or to any bjs wholesale store after this experience. I don't want make a huge deal even though I was sad because my whole life was pretty much in that wallet.

Stack that with the Stop & Shop points, and you're getting a really good deal. I just recently had to get my car inspected, and the folks there were super friendly. They take credit cards for inspections too - so don't worry about cash only. They have a full service island - closer to the shop. The self service island is closer to the road. Ordered a truck, paid, uploaded…read moreall necessary documents days before, got a call from their desk agent night before saying I am confirmed just don't leave a vehicle. Fine I am taken an uber. Go in to pick up the keys, which is what uhaul said was only requirment. I ask the desk agent for the keys, lady says owner handles that he will be right out. Owner has me folllow him into a back room and says system is down. I said here is everything I uploaded and my confirmation number, his response that means nothing and wouldn't look at my phone. He asks for id and cc. I provided both. Then says I need a veifiier that we can reach out to if needed, that knows why I need this rental. What? Gave him a name. Starts asking me where am I taking the truck from one house to another. He then says insufficient answer. What? Verifier not acceptable tell me another verfiier that is related and local. I said I have rented many uhauls at other locations and haven't been talked down to like this ever. He says "get out" we are done you are not renting my truck. Guy after me says I need the keys to the biggest box truck all paid ready to go, he takes one look at him and says I have no information. Kid says I am not going thru that stupidly long process again, and the owner says "get out you are not getting my truck. While we are both outside waiting for uber we called main uhaul number and complained as the owner prevented us from cancelling. Uhaul did right by us. This gas station needs to close. Its impossible to get a uhaul same day and this owner knew that. Stop giving your money to this complete ignorant tyrant.

Instead of just doing his job, Steve got completely unhinged and racist. Because my partner and I are people of color (Latina and Black), he aggressively demanded to know if we were "from here" and actually threatened to call ICE. When we pointed out how unreasonable he was being, he mocked us, saying things like "What is that, a science?" and told us "I'm not trying be here all day, go somewhere else next time" even though the station wasn't even busy. As paying customers, being targeted with racism and threatened with immigration enforcement over a basic, harmless request is beyond disgusting. Management needs to fire Steve immediately. We will never return.
