It was running low on gas. It was the perfect time to explore a gas station. I found this Speedway a couple of blocks away. The reviews for this gas station are low. My rating will be an anomaly, likely because I didn't deal with humans. I filled my car's gas tank at the pump and left without saying anything to anyone. Maybe that's the key. Don't talk to staff and you'll have a better Yelp rating? I could be wrong. There seemed to be a steady flow of customers needing to fuel their vehicles. I had no problem finding an available gas pump. I paid at the pump with a credit card. I like that Speedway does not prompt you to enter your ZIP code. I don't have one because I'm a Canadian tourist, but I do have a way of getting by if I must enter one. I learned later on that the Alt ID prompt on the screen allows you to enter your phone number associated with your Speedy rewards. I have been submitting my receipt through the app. I no longer need to. This gas station was clean. I had no issues fuelling my car. I got my receipt so that I could submit my receipt for reward points. This Speedway has a convenience store. Many folks were heading inside to either prepay for gas or buy something. I didn't need anything, so I didn't check it out. I had a good experience here. I'd drop by again when I'm in the area and need fuel or a snack. (14)

He even asked if he could use me as a reference and if a job opened if I would let him know, Fast forward and I'm still looked at weirdly because I wear a mask, sometimes shades to protect my eyes and no I don't dress up in fancy clothes, Once time I brought in my 12-16 ounce bottle and filled it with ice and was told there was a fee for the ice, I asked the supervisor if the policy changed (customer doesn't have to pay if they bring their own container) and she said no, it was just that their machine keeps breaking and people bring too many cups to fill at once. I agree if you come with more than two cups, you should purchase ice due to the amount but I had one cup, and I maybe come one to two times every two weeks, It's just sad, I really try to avoid going to Speedway in general. I was pleasantly surprised by how much i saved, but i can't remember off hand how much i did in fact save. I highly suggest if you shop at Hyvee often for your groceries or personal needs, getting a fuel savers card and using the hyvee gas station is totally worth it. Here is how it works: You earn points with every fuel savers item you purchase. You can usually tell its a fuel savers item when it has a red and black card above or under it stating so. Not to mention the fuel savers card is free, you just ask your cashier if they haven't asked you already, and then you activate it online. I suggest giving it a try, they have Hyvee's in New Hope, Eagan, and they are opening one up in Robbinsdale actually today!
