Irving - Irving - Londonderry, NH

Irving

I will tell you I have been a long time customer at Irving in Hudson everyone I have dealt with in…read morethat location has been extremely nice always like Melanie (especially) However I had a totally unnecessary verbal confrontation with the Manager Corrine ( whom was covering in Hudson) and is normally the manager in Derry ....I have to say I have never been spoken to like that by anyone ever anywhere where I have done business. I had no issues and was leaving the store when she got involved in something that was none of her business/ the lovely young lady I was talking to explained everything I needed to know and Corrine did NOT need to get involved.....with that being said I contacted corporate regarding Corrine and I received a call from her manager who she works with in Derry ( the one that trained her ) my mind was blown when she immediately started making excuses for Corrines behavior example that is her tone ? If that's her tone and how she talks to people she is in the wrong business she will continue to bring Irving down. Many people are regulars at Irving and often they know us by name .I was told by her manager that she would re train her ....her poor attitude and tone has zero to do with being retrained ....that is who she is you can't retrain someone to talk to people with respect ! I wanted to talk to someone in corporate not Corrines manager as I feel my complaint went no where.

I travel for work so I gave them a call to see what their gas prices are and they are not willing…read moreto give me that information? I shouldn't have to physically drive there to get that information. Will never use this gas station just for this inconvenience alone. Seems sketchy.

I gotta say it's a good convenience store and it gets the job done. They have tons of food, drinks,…read moreand gum to eat. The people complaining about the space isn't that big of a deal because there is enough space to look fore items to purchase.

This Cumberland Farms in Downtown Derry is modern and spacious. Only a few years ago, this store…read morewas smaller and crammed before the renovation and expansion at the same site. The self serve chill zone (fountain drinks & freezes) and coffee bar (any size (their cups) is 99 cents plus tax) offers a good selection of several varieties of coffee (I like the Farmhouse Blend and my choice of flavored creamers too). I sometimes grab an iced coffee on hot days. I like the food selections here which includes sandwiches, subs, salads, hot pizza, wings, fresh baked goods, and hot munchies (tornados, hot dogs). It's definitely not a Wawa or Sheetz which have very extensive MTO food offerings (PA customers are very spoiled), but Cumbys food offerings is good enough for here and generally cheaper than the mentioned. This store also carries cold drinks in the cooler, a walk-in beer fridge, small food items, frozen foods, ice cream, gelato, snacks, candy, newspapers, magazines, lottery tickets, smokes, and other miscellaneous items. The clerks here are pretty friendly. Though I don't buy gas at this Cumby's (I already go to the Derry Speedway for gas which has more pumps), the gas prices here are pretty competitive with other gas stations in the Derry area. There are three gas pumps (6 vehicle fueling positions) outside, which also offer pay at the pump for convenience & smart pay (10 cents off per gallon). The onsite access is a bit tricky. Entering the site from NH 102 (East Broadway) from the west or east is no trouble using McAllister Ct (west side) or Franklin St (east side). However, if you want to get back onto NH 102, you must exit to the east and turn right onto Franklin St (2 way) and make a left turn (tricky during heavy traffic) or right turn onto NH 102. Exiting onto McAllister Ct (one way northbound) is right turn out only, away from NH 102, but easier access to Crystal Avenue (NH 28) via a few turns on back side streets. Personally, I find it easier to parallel park on East Broadway (facing west) and run inside Cumbys for my coffee and I'm on my way very quickly with no parking lot woes.

R Mz Truck Stop

The RMZ Travel Center is conveniently located off I-93 at Exit 5 in Londonderry…read more This recently redeveloped truck stop features Sunoco gas with 19 fueling positions (including diesel pumps for big rigs), big truck parking in the back and a new building with a convenience store, restrooms, a 24-hour Red Arrow Diner and a 9.000 square foot NH Liquor & Wine Outlet store. A future bank (not built) was also proposed on this site. The convenience store offers snacks, cold drinks, beer cave, newspapers, tobacco products, lottery tickets, and a full service Java Lane counter (coffee drinks, bakery items & gelato). The Red Arrow Diner is open 24 hours a day serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and desserts anytime, just like in Manchester & Milford, dine-in or takeout. The NH Liquor & Wine Outlet (#20) was relocated to this travel center from its former location at the Derry Meadows Shoppes. Before this RMZ site was redeveloped, the Sunoco gas station and convenience store was very small and cramped and had a Dunkin' Donuts counter with a drive-thru. Like before, there was truck parking in the same area of the site. Dunkin' Donuts is now across the road inside the Irving station. ACCESS: It is easy to enter the site from NH 28 South, swing right in. However, trying to exit the site is very difficult (both lefts & rights out) since it is located on a curve with very limited sight distance. For safe full access, use the NH 28/Liberty Drive traffic signal.
