They were usable, just not great. The checkout line moved quickly, and the staff handled things efficiently without slowing anyone down. The fuel pumps were clean, well-lit, and spaced out enough to avoid that cramped, chaotic feel you sometimes get at travel centers. Prices were standard for a Pilot, nothing surprising. Overall, if you need a quick snack, decent priced gas and a clean bathroom, Pilot is always a decent choice. Our local Pilot also has a restaurant and clean bathroom. They are usually fairly consistent with being clean and fairly average with their gas prices.

Later, I had a $175 charge from this station on my Discover card. I called the station and this is their procedure, if you swipe your card at the pump, they put a $175 "hold" on your card. There was NO notice of this policy. I called Discover and they confirmed Love's policy and that they put a pending status for $175 on cards, and that it can take 10 days to be processed and the charge removed and the real charge recorded. Love's has lost a customer. Post the policy, alert customers to the $175 and provide an option. I had cash and could easily have paid that way. So long Love's--and I hope others see this policy for what it is.

I wrote a review of McCormick Motors in 2019. These people helped us once again! We were in the…read morearea on vacation (again) and had the two back wheels on the car develop cracks. This, of course, happened over a holiday weekend. Husband called them the Friday before the long weekend. They told him to come early Tuesday morning, when they were open again, and they would help him. Husband went in and they ordered the wheels we needed and said they would be there the next day, and they were! We took the car in and they installed the new wheels. When I had said that we would wait for the new wheels to be put on, the service manager said no, that they were going to take their time with the installation to ensure the car was safe. When they called us to pick up the car, they asked if we wanted to take pictures of the cracks, which we did. When we got there, they took us out to the service area and pulled the wheels out of the boxes (that the new wheels had been in) and let us take pictures so we could send them on the the manufacturer. The cracks were in the same spots on both wheels, so it wasn't a matter of hitting potholes. McCormick Motors will treat you as if you are their only customer. They are amazing!!!!
