Conveniently located near a ton of Oakbrook subdivisions, this place is perfect for items that don't really require a trip to the grocery store. I always hate going to Super Kroger to grab bread and milk because they are on opposite sides of the mammoth store, making the trip much longer than it really needs to be. Village Market is only a few months old, so it's very clean and well stocked. There's also a liquor store next door if you need to pick up some wine or whisky. This place is probably just a three store joint, but because it saves me the headache of going to a big box grocery store, I'll give it an extra star.

This Walgreens was the only spot open. So I was pleasantly surprised to see its transformation as a Kroger pick-up spot, which means it now has a modest produce section as well. It's also bright and clean. It looks like the rest of the store has undergone a makeover as well. The staff wore masks, and there was signage urging people who are unvaccinated to wear masks too. I wish everyone still had to wear masks, but oh well. About half of the customers I saw wore masks. My opinion of this Walgreens has definitely improved. I bet I will be stopping in again soon when I'm back in town to visit family.

When it comes to service, the staff of the pharmacy at this store are pretty good. I've had questions, and often, they have answers. I'm usually in and out of there in about 5 minutes. There is a drive through, but I've only had occasion to use it one or two times. Even that is fast, and I'm on my way in 5 minutes. The plus on Walgreens is that they can alert you by text AND email when your prescription is in. I really like this because I know that it's in and I can go get it at the first opportunity. My experience with the pharmacy staff is enough to take this review to a 5/5. Keep it up, Walgreens.

called for the 3rd time to check on a new RX which I had already set up for delivery after I…read morereceived an email telling me it was ready for pickup. there was actually 2 RXs but the other one wasnot in stock. I was told it was expected today and I said fine but still wanted delivery today on the available one. I called & was told i was the 4th caller & waited 21/2 hrs as 4 became 1 and then another 1/2 hr or more with no reported calls in front of me & was then told the other one hadn't come in did I want the other one delivered? I paid for same day delivery. And now they ask if I want it delivered? This isn't the first time this has happened & I'm pretty over the incompetence it their staff! No apology, concern, nothing just do you still want it delivered? I asked if it could still be delivered today & she said yes. There were a couple other issues but it is supposed to be delivered today. We will see. They used to have free 2-3 day delivery. Now there's a $3.99 delivery fee for it and a $5.99 same day fee for terrible service & totally worse customer service. This isn't going to happen again. I've had it! I have them 1 star because they didn't have a lower rating. just so youre aware!
