When she got to the till the guy behind the counter decided it was now worth 89.99, knowing full well she had her heart set on it. He tried to show me the other jackets but there was not another one the same so not even sure what his point was in doing that. He then said someone else put that price tag on it, even though it was the exact same tag on the other item she purchased. I went back to discuss this and ask that he respect the price tag. He replied straight out "sorry, that is not my problem". We will never stop here again and encourage others to use the Petro instead.

Even though the sign says you can't turn onto Harris from westbound US-12, if you are careful and the traffic isn't too thick, you are allowed to turn directly into the gas station. The place is a bit tight when it's busy, but I've never been stuck waiting for someone else to get out of my way. You might think you can just turn right onto US-12 when you leave, but I'd use the light at Harris if there were any possibility of traffic screaming over the hill at Ann Arbor Saline Road. They have DIESEL at pumps 3 and 4. Kerosene, too, at the edge of the parking lot.

Most places will authorize $1 on your account to verify funds. This travel center put $151 of funds on hold for $30 of gas. Visa issued a notice to banks (according to UMCU), last year, that gas stations can start doing this. Apparently Pilot Travel Center is one that does. I have emailed Pilot corp, with no response. (yet) Workers at the Pilot Travel Center said that it is the bank and not Pilot. According to Visa, it is the Travel Center. Also, via Visa, they can preauthorize up to $151 for passenger vehicles and $500 for semi trucks. I can't believe this isn't common knowledge and people aren't pissed! How would you like to have $151 frozen from Friday to Tuesday. What if you were filling up on your way out of town, then you didn't have that money available because this new practice? To avoid this, go into the station and have them authorize a specific amount instead of paying at the pump. No matter how inconvenient it will be to use another gas station, I will NOT visit this travel center again.

Next to a pretty busy intersection and easy access to the streets and the highway. Lines move very slow to check out at but great perks with your speedy rewards too! Overall, solid casual reccomend.
