Advantage pay is Giant Eagle's new perk where you link a bank account to your GE advantage card and can purchase gas at a discounted rate. You only need to scan your advantage card and enter your PIN which you set up when you register for the program. If you have earned fuel perks from grocery shopping they can also be redeemed at the same time and lower the cost even more. Normally regular unleaded gas in the area I live is currently averaging somewhere between $2.75-$2.80/ gallon before advantage pay. I had driven by this location a couple of times recently and was blown away by the fact that they are currently selling gas before discounts at $2.45/ gallon. It seemed strange to me that a Getgo in a chain would have such a reduced price but I happened to see a competitor in the same area with a similar price. So I stopped here to fuel. Using Advantage pay my price was knocked down to $2.10 gallon and I wasn't redeeming any additional fuel perks. I never go into the convenience store unless there is something I really need but for the price of gas, this can't be beat! It is very rare to find gas at a reasonable rate but I'm happy to have found this place and will definitely take advantage of this station whenever I'm in or about the Bridgeville area. Entry is easy since there is a traffic signal to let you onto the side road and then you can pull into the station. It sits near the entrance to I 79 Bridgeville exit and where the former King's restaurant stood. All Getgo will list their regular price on an overhead sign and the Advantage pay price right beside it. Sometimes that sign can be misleading but when you go to pump your gas you'll get the right amounts. A great bargain for gasoline!
