They also sell groceries such as canned foods, frozen foods, snacks, and beverages. I shopped in this specific Dollar General one time. I browsed in all of the departments. The shelves were fully stocked. Many products were name-brand such as Cover Girl, Charmin, Colgate, and Hanes. The prices ranged from low to overpriced. For example, single pack of Beneful dog food was $3.25, and a single can of Fancy Feast Gravy Lover's wet cat food was $1.10, which is higher than what competing stores charge. However, an Aussie hair conditioner had the same price as Target does. You must compare the prices. I bought two packs of cat treats and seven packs of dog food. The cashier promptly, politely, and accurately rang up my purchase.

But, speaking strictly on the food I got from delivery, it was pretty decent. Not great, but not horrible either. I got the fish sandwich. The fish sandwich I ordered actually came with two separate sandwiches for one price ($13 for two pieces, or two whole sandwiches). The fish wasn't the highest quality clearly, but the batter was crispy (perhaps too much so) and it hit the spot pretty well. It had a kind of strange Mayo-like sauce which I think was ranch (not a huge fan, tasted kind of funky). Bun wasn't really toasted. The fries weren't bad. Actually pretty crispy and had a decent flavor. It is, all in all, an okay place to get some pretty cheap food, but it might be of questionable quality.
