I came here last year for my emissions and got awesome service...this year i cant say the same...generally emissions take 10 to 15 mins .There wasnt a line i was the only one being serviced it took 45 mins ...the machine wasnt really working and i think the employee was new...he was nice but dang a emmissions should not take that long...they took my car off and on the machine 10 plus times....the manager ended up coming over to help and was nice but i wasnt happy.... read more

I'm from out of town and I was running extremely low on gas, I had completely forgotten to stop for gas. I went in prepaid for $10 to get me back in my side of town. I set the pump up and sit in my car until it's done then I turn my car back on and the gas numbers haven't moved, it was exactly where it was before. I turned my car on and off a few times and still no change so I got up and looked at my pump to see any wet areas for gas and also felt the pump to make sure gas came out but it was dry (though I know gasoline can try fast especially since it's cold outside) so I go inside and the lady was very nice and seemed confused as to why maybe gas wouldn't have come out as that was the only conclusion I could draw at the time. She calls her manager and a guy comes out, prints a receipt waving it saying this is his proof gas came out. He began being condescending saying I only pumped $10 of gas so it wasn't going to make a difference which I get I didn't pay for $30 plus but it's not the first time I've put $10 in and it went up 80-100 miles on the number gauge depending on gas prices. He kept going on repeating I only paid for $10 and saying it wasn't going to be a change. It made me feel crazy because that BS. If I come in with 12 miles and put in $10, you're telling me it will be the same. I then proceeded to ask him if he was trying to be funny because he was so fixated on the amount that I paid. I FINALLY got him to stop his rant about me only getting about 2.3 gallons which is when I explained to him that I wasn't coming in here complaining that I didn't get more gas then I was expecting, my gas gauge didn't move at all and I know that because mine vehicle goes by numbers so I know how many miles I have left to empty. When he finally listened to hear instead of listening to argue, he made a dismissive comment about his vehicle having to start and move before it registers the gas so I went out and gave that a try and it worked. This is a brand new car for me (it's a push to start hehe) and I have never had to experience this before. I went in for help and understanding and came out feeling talked down to and treated as if I wanted to take $10 worth of gas from them dishonestly. I go back in to tell him it worked and he made a sarcastic comment saying "See, you weren't lying". Are you kidding me? I never raised my voice, I wasn't mean or rude and I was almost in tears from being overwhelmed because I wasn't trying to get over I just didn't understand what was happening with my car. Other than W. Paces Ferry Road, this is the only other full service gas station in Buckhead. Probably Atlanta, actually. They're pretty cool about it. Instead of having designated pumps, they have attendants at all of them and will pump your gas and check fluids if you request. Of course, the full service price per gallon is higher. I'm not really sure what it is because they don't post it. It's added to your bill if you request service. It's really hard to get in and out of here because of their location on the corner. Don't even try to turn left during rush hour. It's not happening. I don't usually come here because of that. However, it's your last resort if you're running low and need gas near Lenox Square or Phipps Plaza. They also do emissions testing, oil changes, and other repairs. I've never had my car serviced here, but I thought I'd mention it. read more

I had quite a problem getting in and out of this gas station. There is so much traffic and the other drivers are not willing to let you out. Although that last bit is not the station's fault, the "tightness" of getting in and out of this place affects my rating. Also, as always, BP gas stations seems to have more expensive gas. I did see in the map that there were a couple of other gas stations that were much cheaper, but I really had to pump gas at that time. All in all, not bad, not that great either. read more

The best "service station" in the city....family owned for over 30 years from father to son. Most honest and dependable I know for any car work, excellent advice on tires, just all around good people. We have been doing business with them for over 30 years and they have never steered me wrong!! Also the cleanest station ever.... the gas, well, its high but think what his property taxes are! !!! The location for this gas station is tough, really only convenient if it's literally on your way and you don't have to cross lanes of traffic, and the gas is a bit pricey, but when it came time to get my emissions done, I have to give them a major thumbs up. I was in and out in 10 minutes, friendly service, and standard price ($25). For anyone in the Lenox area needing to take care of car stuff during your lunch break or immediately after work, this is probably a spot worth keeping in mind. read more

I was looking for an after-work-and-traffic emissions test, and after the first location I raced to was CLOSED 15min early, and rudely hung up on me when I called to say I was there, ISMAILA at BP graciously offered to extend his operating hours to accommodate my crosstown traffic drive. I've been to this station numerous times, usually out of dire necessity. Last week my car broke down right in front. I was waiting for AAA to take me to my mechanic when they came out and pretty much said they could fix it. So, in spite of my prior experience (I was pretty sure I was cheated...) I left it there so I could get to work. 3 hours later they call me with a $200 bill but they couldnt' fix the problem, because they don't do that work there. THEY KNEW before I left it what was wrong. I told them. I pretty much gave some attitude.. took it to my mechanic.. but on the way my car had overheated and lost all its antifreeze. 'someone' had loosened the cap to where it would all spew out. Coincidence? I think not. 10/9/12 RESPONSE TO YOUR RESPONSE: Your recollection is completely incorrect. My car broke down in front of your station and I was pushed in. Two of your mechanics came out and I told them it was the alternator as I knew it was going bad. They said they could fix it. I was never told if it were the alternator it could not be fixed there until AFTER you replaced the battery at almost $200. Clearly, it was a very deliberate plan on your part and your false comments only confirm my suspicions. Outright LIES in your comments. read more

I was getting gas at this store, when my car battery died. There was a nice gentleman who worked there who ran out to help me. I was lucky my battery died right in the parking lot! He jumped my car, tested my battery, and realized I needed a new one. They had one in stock and he had the battery in, less than 10 minutes! Excellent customer service, I highly recommend! read more

I know this sounds trivial, but I had a nail in my tire recently. I had not long moved to Atlanta from South Georgia, so I really did not know where to take the car. Not to mention, it was my first trip shopping at Lenox Mall and I am not familiar with the area yet. A guy in the parking lot told me to take the car to Kauffman because they would do the tire repair for free if I had time to wait. Unfortunately, I had to be at work within an hour and did not have time to wait. Thank goodness I found this station on my way from the mall as I don't think the tire would have made it to my job in Dunwoody. Anyway, a guy at this station came out and fixed the tire straight away. He was so nice! Yeah, they charged me, but the tire was fixed and I was on my way in about 5 minutes. The small fee was definitely worth me being on my way so quickly. Seriously, he was super nice! I am sure when my car needs maintenance in the future I will take it to these guys! read more

This station is a little out of my way, but worth the side trip if I am on the north side of town. It reminds of the little service station that was near my house growing up in Tennessee. The staff is friendly and professional. I took my little Mini there last week when I discovered I had two nails in my back tires. Usually, non-specialty mechanics won't touch my car with a ten foot pole, but they were very helpful. They patched my specialty tires and topped off all my fluids without the first complaint or a hefty bill. read more

I have been using this station for almost 9 years, and have not had one negative experience. While their gas prices are high -- BP's doing, not this station's, apparently due to the zip code they are in -- their car repair & service is excellent. They consistently suggest lower-cost alternatives for repairs, they hone in on what my wants & needs are for my cars, and they have gone out of their way to accommodate my schedule. And, I have not had to go back for a "re-fix" for any issue, large or small. These guys are as close to the old "neighborhood mechanic" as you will find. I highly recommend them. read more

I was at lenox doing some Christmas shopping. When i went out to my car the battery was dead. I called AAA and they said it would be a couple of hours. I was in a hurry so I looked up the closes place that could help me on yelp and came across this station. I called them and they showed up in less than 10 mins. I followed the man back to the station where he tested my battery. They showed me it was bad and replaced it for me. The bp station took care of me and had me on my way in about 20 mins. They really helped me out of a bind and got me back on the road. read more

Extremely Horrible customer service by owner. I stopped to get gas here and after I was finished pumping I sat in my car trying to get directions to my next location. The owner comes to my window and ask "what are you doing" I kindly said waiting for a friend to pull in so I can follow them to our destination. He says so rudely "not right here your not" and says "I'm kindly asking you to leave" only it wasn't kind at all and caught me off guard I didn't even know what to say. He walked away and I was completely appalled so I got out my car and went to the back where he was blowing the leaves. I said sir that was very rude and insulting what you said to me and I don't understand why, he yells at me and says you're blocking the pump! I thought to myself dude why didn't you just ask me nicely to pull away from the pump. I didn't know! And when I tried to explain that to him he started blowing leaves so that he couldn't hear me! It was the most rude thing ever. Kind of funny too but definitely rude. As long as I've been going to this gas station buying there overpriced snacks and getting oil changes it was definitely shocking that anyone there would treat me that way but I guess bc he's the owner and never sees me he figured he could speak to me the way he did. I will never stop at his location again. When I told my neighbors about it they too said they don't stop there anymore and that he's a very bitter man. Allegedly he voted for trump.
