To my surprise when I got there I saw it was just that, a quick trip LOL Seems new and there were a lot of people around. I didn't like the advertisement on the pump while pumping so I got back on my car since I didn't get a discount for that lol. This was my favorite gas station when I lived in GA. Not because the gas was better than other gas stations. It was for their energy drink, Rooster Booster. I visited Atlanta 2 weeks ago and had stopped at this particular QT for gas - then realized I really wanted a Rooster Booster, because when in Rome... Imagine my disappointment when I found QT no longer sells Rooster Booster in cans. You can only get them from the fountain machine - not the most convenient process and the fountain Rooster Booster wasn't as strong. Pretty disappointing. No real reason for me to go to QTs anymore. Quicktrip is an Atalanta gas station in the buckhead portion of the city. This particular gas station is located across from our hotel so me and my buddies walked across the street to grab some snacks, drinks and cups for our bourbon for the night. Very large and clean place. The workers there actually seemed friendly and nice which is a shock for gas stations to actually have. Overall we got everything we needed and had a good trip. Hi Yelp family, Happy 4th... Enjoying the awesome 4th until i came to this location for service on yesterday. I have never received such intimidating, unprofessional and disrespectful service from any employee at the location . The employee in the picture serviced a customer standing behind me. I questioned not demanded, why the customer behind me was serviced before me. She stated she wasn't paying attention and continued to serviced the customer as everyone waited for her response. She was abrasive and unnecessarily confrontational. She proceeded to instructed the other customer to place their items on the counter ahead of me. After her decision to reconcile the issue she proceeded to yell across the store to another employee sweeping the floor. I had no clue what was happening and become worried as she yelled again across the store. She had serviced at least three customers during this incident. The other employee, Kyle was polite and helpful. His demeanor immediately shared a calm and safe energy throughout the store. This location isn't the safest! Imagine, if she treated someone with the same attitude as her with such aggression. Instead of any polite de escalating approaches which shows customer value and respect. This employee escalated aggression and rudeness which invites any on else's motive of endangering the entire environment to unsafe conditions. We all have to take in consideration of our behavior even if working under any pressures. To be kind, de escalate and remain professional at all times. I am very disappointed with the failure of an employee not meeting a wonderful company's mission. read more

Getting in and out of this location at certain times of the day can be the biggest hassle. The gas pumps are normally packed and very seldom is there one that is out of order, so on occasion you may have to wait for a pump to become available. It would be a great service if they moved the building back about 100 feet and enlarged the parking lot to make it easier to maneuver around those cars waiting to pull up to a pump. It QT, so of course there's snacks and clean bathrooms to be found inside. There is also a Wells Fargo ATM machine inside this location. There was one occasion, when I drove off without getting gas that I had paid for inside, and when I inquired about it was told there was nothing that could be done, so yes, there are security cameras watching your every move, but they don't review those cameras to see if you got gas you paid for. I even contacted the corporate offices and got the same reply. Sorry, but once you drive off, there is nothing that can be done. Friendly employees, even when the place is a zoo. read more

QT is awesome. This one takes a little effort to appreciate. It's hella busy and traffic on Sidney Marcus Blvd. is awful during the day, but it's almost always the cheapest gas in the area. They do a pretty good job of getting people in and out, despite the high volume of customers. It's not unusual for every pump to be occupied with another vehicle waiting. As long as everyone pays at the pump it's pretty smooth, but a lot of construction workers come here because of its close proximity to Home Depot. They usually pay cash and have to go inside. Inside it's clean, there are always at least two people working (probably more), and everything seems well stocked at reasonable prices. read more

Seriously, I could count on one hand the number of times that I've been here when not every pump was being used, and I've been early, late, and during the day. Quik Trip is THE best place to get any of those desirable undesirables (you know, those things you don't need or shouldn't but sometimes you want so bad that you need them): gasoline, fountain soda drinks, candy, quick foods (hot dogs, microwave foods, etc), lottery tickets, beer, cigarettes. I think there is not a single aspect of any Quik Trip station I can say a bad thing about: cleanliness, functionality, service, product quality, product prices. Some of the reasons for these sentiments: - Having two small kids, I am more familiar with public restrooms than I care to be and I have seen restrooms in good restaurants in significantly worse shape than those at any Quik Trip. - I can usually count on getting free air for my car tires from QT where it seems ALL other stations charge and / or have crappy equipment. - Every time I walk into a QT, I am cheerily greeted whereas at other places I am often ignored. - 99 times out of 100, QT has the cheapest gas prices in a 5 mile radius. I loooooove Quiktrips, but this one is a nightmare. The parking lot and entrances are so poorly designed, making for horrific traffic flow. The lines from the gas pumps back up so much that it can be almost impossible just to park in a regular space to grab a 99 cent fountain drink. If you're coming in for ice or cheap snacks, your best bet is to park in the shopping center behind this location. Also, plan your trip well, and don't plan on making a left hand turn out of this Quiktrip, or into it. read more

I have to say that I am a transplant, and I was looking for a chain of convenience stores that offered consistent cleanliness and service in the Atlanta area similar to the Holiday and Kwik Trip chains in the Twin Cities (Minnesota). I would have to say that Quick Trip is at the level. Compared to many other gas stations in the Atlanta metro area they have clean restrooms, well-priced and reasonably fresh coffee, and free air. I now make an effort to stop by this Quik Trip whenever I can to get my fresh 24 oz coffee with fresh 1/2 and 1/2 for only $1.29 and free air for my tires. read more

I will *always* go to a QT when I see I have a choice of gas stations in the area. QT locations are clean, they have the best prices on their soft drinks, and they have tasty fast food! I love their taquitos and hot dogs, especially after a long night where you don't want to go to awful house or some other greasy spoon. A Chicken taquito is also great for breakfast, but I'm just strange like that. They have several different breakfast sandwiches available too. QT is in the midst of updating all their stores. The new ones add cheese-stuffed breadsticks, corndogs and burgers to their take out selections. Their gas prices are always competitive, they have free air for your tires, and the people working there are always friendly. I wish there were a QT closer to my home. Awesome ! QT rocks ... always fast, always clean, great grab-n-go stuff and they have GAS (during our little crisis) and it's always cheaper than anyone else. And you don't have to stick your money through a 3 inch think slab of bullet proof glass to pay them. Gets a little busy at times at this (Sidney Marcus) location but it's worth it. I generally feel taken advantage of at the pump. That pain is -ever- so slightly less at this QT than other places. It seems to be one of the cheapest options for gas ITP. There's a Marathon over in Bolton that's always cheaper but I think this has to be a close second. And who is ever in Bolton? Mostly garbage men and railroad bums I suspect. This place STAYS packed. You can pull in behind someone who looks like they will be fast, or if you are impatient like me you can circle around the pumps like some sort of gas buzzard. So many pumps, always a line. What I love about this QT is its proximity to GA400 and the connector. It certainly is the best spot to stop for gas before getting into Midtown and the prices don't reflect its location. The problem is that everyone KNOWS this, so the station is usually packed, so be prepared to wait. My most recent visit, it seemed pretty empty until I realized that it was due to the fact that 3 of the pumps were out of order - wah wah wah. I was still able to get in and get filled up without too long of a wait, which was good for me. The price is always right as with any QT it is usually about 10 cents cheaper than any mainstream gas station. The staff inside is always friendly. The bathrooms (if you must) have been clean when I had to visit in a pinch. read more

If you've ever even driven by this place you'll have noticed the tons of cars. Constantly. If the Super Bowl means nothing but "hey everything is empty!" to you, then you would have found this QT to be AWESOME tonight. It is always a madhouse here. My friend and I stopped here to buy some ice for our cooler before a day out at Road Atlanta, and it was swarming before it was even 7am. I am amazed when I drive by on a weeknight at 10pm and people are still waiting around for pumps. The one time I have braved coming here on a weekend afternoon, some lady at the pump next to me was convinced Steven Spielberg was there. I had to let her down when I noticed it was far too old of a Mercedes for a director of his caliber to be driving. But seriously I love this chain. Gas is always cheaper than anything else around, which is awesome in this area, with a BP up the street that's always thirty cents a gallon higher than here. With prices being high for no good reason as usual with oil as a commodity, this is great help. I try to always get gas from a QT because of the fact it is a top tier gasoline. I also love being able to get a giant sized cup full of Coke Zero from a fountain. There's plenty of other stuff in there. I am also a fan of the cheese taquitos. This is the same at almost any Quik Trip. You go in for gas. There are 12-22 slots to gas up. They are all occupied and NOBODY is in most of the cars! Hmmm. You can pay at the pump and most every driver has a credit or debit card. Cars are circling like sharks for a spot and it seems the people inside take FOREVER, AND EVER to come out of there!!!!! You take a spot behind a vacant car and wait...and wait. After what seems like eternity you give up and go sit behind another car. I've heard gas often isn't a priority. The impulse items and junk food is what drives profits and here is proof! Otherwise how can a business put up with people blocking paying customers for such a long time? What is going on at the register to make it take so long? Or do people really browse forever deciding if its a twinkie, ding dong or ho ho? (added later-many are doctoring up their hot dogs, buying cigarettes, beer, and lottery tickets and redeeming lottery winnings. Worse yet most are cash customers even though they hold credit/debit. So rather than swipe and go like I do, they fiddle with cash and count out coins and hold everyone up!. This isn't quik trips fault, its the fault of the American Consumer that is SO resistant to change of habits). If you just want to gas and go, Im finding this is often going to be your longest wait! Would be nice if people could get their gas and then pull forward like courteous people used to do but they don't. INSPITE OF ALL THIS... The help is first rate. They run a tight ship! They got their help working like crazy. Every 10-15 min they mop the floor, clean the front door. Any free minute they are stocking new food, turning hotdogs on the grill, removing out of date food, taking out the trash, and refilling shelves. They work HARD! Yet in spite of all that they are cheerful, helpful, and nice. Its always nice to go in. Its a joy to go to Quik Trip over the other ''I'' stations. What is I? Think about it! You go into those and everything is broken, dirty, and the help is a mixed bag at best. They have credit card minimums, and most still print out paper and have you sign it for even the smallest things. The pumps often cant even be read. You find plastic bags over half the pumps. They tape on little papers please pay inside. Often the pump does work but its deactivated because they want you to see all their impulse items inside while you wait to pay. What kind of service is that!! You also pass everything under a bulletproof glass. Lovely! Few have bathrooms and you probably don't want to go in even if they do. Fortunately NONE of this at Quik Trip. Quik Trip has great coffee, lots of choices of sausages and hot dogs. Good prices and they are installing a separate manned GRILL at many locations. Coffee is great too. You can now get fresh salads too, fresh fruit, all sorts of meal items are now available. I'm impressed. One way to see how good they are is to look at the competition. You can look at a new Race Trac and also another similar name. They are copying just about EVERYTHING a Quik Trip has. Same colors, same style of everything, same pump setup, you drive in and you think your at a quik trip half the time! Even the food items are layed out the same and priced the same 2 for $2.22 etc. Shows something here is working if the competition will go that far to imitate them. read more

I love QT. I have some scary gas stations in my area, and I have tried to time needing gas at some point when I am near this station. It is right off 85/400 so I am in that area a lot anyway. Quiktrips in general and great because they give you free air for tires when most other stations charge fifty cents to one dollar and you have to hurry to be able to use it on all four tires. They also have bright lights, clean restrooms, and just an all around clean store. I have never felt like buying food or drinks from a QT would be dirty, and the attendants always greet you and are friendly. During the gas crisis I waited an hour and a half for gas at this location. The pumps were going slowly and not all of them were working. I definitely do not blame the station itself for this though, and was just glad they had gas. Some of the bigger companies (Exxon, BP, Chevron, Shell) should take note of QT and spend some of their profits on revamping their stations in a QT way before the government tries to steal it from them. read more

I hate how small the gas station is! Clearly when they built it they didn't think it would be SO busy. There's maybe 10 gas pumps and it's located right next to GA400 and Interstate85. It's always packed so be prepared to wait for a pump. They remodeled the inside so that it now has the QT kitchen (yay). Workers are always friendly and ready to help you get in and out. The pizza from the kitchen is super good! They have personal pans for $5 or 2 slices for $5. It's not to bad for a quick bite that's cheap. Only reason I am giving them 3 stars is because I feel like it doesn't fully serve its purpose as gas station for this particular area. If you are in a rush don't come here. read more

What's not to like about this super sized convenience store chain that sells gas. They have the cleanest bathrooms around -- no more making a surreptitious run into Waffle House without buying anything. They also have the cheapest gas prices. My one pet peeve is that this station consistently charges 5 to10 cents more per gallon than other nearby QuikTrips. And with it's busy location and small footprint, it can border on gridlock. This is my second favorite fill up station in Atlanta. Great pumps, great prices and great service. I think the gas actually comes out of the pumps faster here, you can really feel it pumping through the nozzle! Very solid beef jerky and soda-pop selection.
