This is one of Franklins best gas stations that would be comparable to stations of the past. Mini vacation trip to Fontana Village, NC for Miata's at the Gap at the beginning of August. After…read morethe first day of driving the Tail of the Dragon, I noticed one of the wheel studs on my 23 year old Mazda Miata was broken, and the lug nut was gone. Searched for a nearby tire shop, that would be open on Saturday. According to the googles, it *should* have been open at 8:00am. I arrived at the shop at 8:20am and it was closed, with no signs of opening at all on Saturday. I stopped by a convenience store to ask for another possibility, and they suggested Eller's Citgo. I drove up the street and found it, and pulled up. I asked the two gentlemen who were there, if they'd be able to help me, and they said sure. They called to the local auto parts store, got a new wheel stud and lug nut, delivered. We made small talk about cars, good driving roads, and listened to a few stories from them. Within 20 minutes I was ready to get back on the road. The amount they charged me, was incredibly low, and I settled my bill with a smile. It may not look like much from the outside, but Eller's Citgo has got it where it counts with their friendly people, quick service, and their extremely reasonable prices. They put my oil filter on wrong and I kept smelling oil, I took it back to Robert's Quick Lube and kip looked it over and he said the oil must have been excess oil and that's why I'm smelling oil because it gets on the motor. I spent 53.00 and some change and less than a week had to spend 108.03 at another shop to redo my oil change because they Robert's quick lube put my oil filter on wrong and al my oil leaked on the front of my motor and the bottom. I will not Recommend anyone to go here. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Came in to drop off my jeep on 6/24/2024 and was met outside by the assistant manager, which advised me that the business owner decided to close down the business. I've put in a fraud claim with my bank. So now it's just a waiting game. Here I am thinking that I'd help a local business owner instead of a big box store business. I can only pray that I get my money back. And unfortunately my big city wall has gone up again. Sometimes giving local businesses a chance is just not worth it. All it took was one bad apple to spoil the orchard.
