I asked the agent in this office to update our policy to reflect the deed, and send me the updated policy. A week later she said she's still working on it. One more week later and I leave a voice mail to please contact me about the change. No reply. I called the office, was transferred to voicemail, which is full, so decided to visit but no one is there today (see photos). I called MAPFRE to see if the policy was ever changed. They said it is still in the original name. They said I can change to another MAPFRE agent and continue with the same policy. Will do, service could not possibly be as bad as with this office.

They are so busy, they don't answer the phone - they call you back after you leave a message. It's very frustrating not to be able to get an answer for a simple question or resolve an issue without playing phone tag for days or weeks. Email seems to be worse. Communication issues aside, we've had two major issues with this agency. First, even though when we enrolled we clearly wanted our policy auto-renewed (which EVERY auto policy I've had for the last 20 years has done), they didn't do it. As a result, we were unknowingly uninsured for 2 months, which is a disaster when you move to a new state and try to get coverage. It took a week's worth of phone calls to get our coverage started, and the MA DMV almost cancelled our registration. Second, when we moved, I called to cancel the policy. When I talked to Eric, he said he would cancel the policy, told me how to cancel my MA plates online, and that he would back-date the cancellation so we could get a refund for the time our coverage in our new state overlapped. Fast forward 3 months and the policy STILL isn't cancelled. Like I said, these are nice guys, but clearly disorganized and in the end, you really want to be able to get these things taken care of quickly and simply and not spend days, weeks, or months. Find another agent.

Patty collected all the information she needed and emailed me the next morning with quotes for home insurance and automobile insurance. The price was significantly lower that my existing policies so I moved both policies to Tarpey. I don't think I'll ever leave. Any time I've emailed Patty or sent someone from my family to their office the service has exceeded my expectations. Don't let the nonstop TV based insurance advertising fool you, local insurance companies can match or beat the pricing and provide far better service.

Paul and D both went above and beyond to shop my policies around to guarantee me the best coverage for a cheaper price. They guided me through the process of switching insurance companies because it is stressful. After being with my previous insurance company for 10 years, I chose to switch because my home and auto policies increased over $400 annually for the past 3 years. I pleaded with them to lower my costs and they assured me I was getting the best rate. I knew that wasn't true. So I called Rizzo. My new policies combined are $1100 cheaper annually than the other company and I'm getting better coverage. I highly recommend everyone call them. I did everything over the phone and online. It's so convenient! All I can say is don't delay call Rizzo now. One bit of advice is ask your current insurance agent if there is an early cancellation fee.
