I echo what others have said about the providers booking out pretty far but for any emergencies (re skin cancer), they've been able to fit me in. I've been seeing Dr. Bryn Marsh for 5+ years now and cannot say enough good things about my experience with her. She listens and is attentive, offers various solutions and is open to trying new things as I navigate very acne and skin cancer prone skin. I see her for everything from biopsies to skin checks to Botox. Lots of turnover with the PAs but never had a bad experience. I also saw Dr. Pusey while on Accutane due to scheduling conflicts with Dr. Marsh and she was equally as attentive, calm and knowledgeable. Robin (who helps schedules Mohs surgery) is one of the kindest people ever. She is so sweet, level-headed and explains things extremely well. Ann in billing is amazing and really works with you and your insurance. The front desk had a lot of turnover recently and due to the learning curve, was charging me (and my partner who sees Dr. Fender) for wrong things or wrong amounts, and Ann remedied it for both of us quickly and effectively after we called. The only negative experience I had was with Dr. Walter for a chemical peel. Without getting into too much detail, I felt dismissed, talked down to and as though normal post-op questions from a first time peel patient were a waste of his time. I will not book with him again, but am extremely happy with the other providers at Hill Center so hasn't deterred me from going back.

She came home from the appointment with no paperwork; no instructions, no warnings, no care. Her neck became so inflamed that she returned one week later to be sure this was normal; she was told it was. After 7 weeks of excruciating pain, 2 trips to the hospital with complaints of dizziness, cloudy-head, confusion, unable to walk steady and so uncomfortable that she pulled away from her family and friends due to depression, we finally went for another opinion. The other dermatologist was HORRIFIED that Dr. Neyman prescribed these two drugs concurrently and had my mom stop taking them immediately. This office has no clue how to work with elderly patients. I would not recommend them to anyone you love.

They should probably rename the place from Cara Mia to "we don't Cara about You-a". The short version is I had an appointment, they sent me a reminder text at 3:38 the day before the appointment, and I showed up and they tell me my appointment was canceled the day before...yeah, the day they sent the reminder text. THEY NEVER NOTIFIED ME THEY CANCELLED- I learned that at the counter. At first they just said I wasn't in their system. When i showed them the confirmation text that had their businesses name, their address, the appointment time and date, along with the providers name and credentials, they then said it had been cancelled. Now, I don't know (yes I do!!), shouldn't one expect a profuse apology for canceling your needed healthcare and wasting your time, and not notifying you of the cancellation? And then, I don't know, try to reschedule with you or potentially call to see if other clinics in their network (they are in a wider network) could get you in especially given there was a serious health concern? NOPE! The staff chose to argue with me about whether I had an appointment. So now we know the management either never trained their staff on appropriate responses or the staff were insolent and refused orders...yeah, basically it's on the management. There is much more to the story (continued below) but you get the gist. For entertainment purposes you can keep reading this if you want. The reason given for the (un-notified) cancellation ended up being that they didn't take my insurance. But wait! - the plot thickens. I wanted to do a full body scan for skin cancer and had been to this place before so called and they scheduled me. As you may know it can take weeks or months to get an appointment. I get a call as the appointment was approaching that it was canceled because they didn't take my insurance (yeah, it gets SO much worse for Mia No Cara about You-a). I had an app scan of a mole that indicated it should be looked at as soon as possible (it said moles like that may develop into melanoma). So I had a call from THEM saying that they NOW ACCEPTED my insurance! Because of the urgency I accepted their first available workable date. Consider this businesses level of incompetence: they CONFIRMED they took my insurance, they sent me reminder texts and I confirmed my appointment, they CANCELLED with NO notice because they said they DIDN'T take my insurance, and they offered ZERO assistance to help the customer with a serious health concern. Ask yourself would you ever use them? No? Good, spare yourself heartache.

The level of care was appalling, and I am still deeply upset by what I went through. To start, I was one of the first patients of the day, and the waiting area was empty. Yet, when I was finally called back, the staff member called out the wrong name--twice--while looking directly at me with an annoyed expression. It was an unprofessional and uncomfortable start to the visit. Once I was in the exam room, I was handed the smallest gown imaginable, leaving me barely covered and extremely uncomfortable. When Dr. Zhu entered, she was alone and immediately launched into nonstop personal questions while rolling me around for the initial check-up. I barely had a chance to speak, and the entire exam felt rushed and dismissive. Then, the worst part--while I was turned on my side, exposed, the door suddenly opened without a knock or warning, and the same staff member who had checked me in walked right in. She stood there as if this was completely normal, neither acknowledging the intrusion nor apologizing for not giving me any notice. I was mortified. There was zero regard for my privacy or comfort. The experience continued to decline when it came to my test results. Over a week later, I received an automated email from LabCorp late on a Friday night, stating that my results were in. When Monday came, I waited all day for a call from the doctor--nothing. I finally left a message around 1 PM, and by 4 PM, with still no response, I called again. This time, a random male staff member gave me my biopsy results over the phone. Midway through telling me that one of the biopsy sites was pre-cancerous melanoma, he put me on hold--only to come back and casually inform me that I needed to come back in two months for a follow-up. To this day, I never received a follow-up call from Dr. Zhu herself. No explanation, no reassurance--nothing. And to top it off, I am now stuck paying an outrageous bill for the subpar, careless treatment I received. Her prices are overinflated for the lack of professionalism and quality of care provided. I have never felt so violated, disregarded, and uncomfortable in a medical setting. This experience was not only unprofessional but completely unacceptable. I will never return to this office and will continue sharing my experience to warn others. If this review can prevent even one person from enduring what I did, then it was worth writing.

Instead, Dr. Waite looked at my skin, nodded sagely, and basically said, "Hold my moisturizer." Through a mysterious cocktail of steroids, body wash, humidity, and what I suspect might include a few spells from an ancient dermatology grimoire, she nearly cured what multiple people told me couldn't be cured. My skin, once a patchy landscape of pruritic irritation, is now smoother than my best pickup line (which, trust me, is saying something). 10/10 would recommend--unless you're Grover's Disease. What you're seeing here is most likely not an accurate representation of the Boyle Family Dermatology clientele otherwise they'd be out of business. I've seen Sheila 10 times over the last fifteen years. Just standard skin cancer monitoring. My experiences haven't been anything like what's described here. She's been on time for my appointments and courteous. She does move quickly and I can see how some people might be put off by that. I've used they're newly implemented scheduling system through ZocDoc and that's worked seamlessly. I'm pleased with her level of communication with me and her efficiency when it comes to having to remove items from my skin for biopsy. Her referral network is strong. I've been sent out of her clinic to other individuals for procedures that they can't do in the office and I've had great results from that. I recommend her for sure.
