We were visiting our sister in law. We had dirty clothes…read morefrom our 2 week trip. I looked up on Yelp,"Wash n Fold",& up popped "Bright And Clean Coin Laundry",(5 Stars on Yelp). I called ahead asking IF she had time for "Wash & Fold ,same day service." She said,"Yes." I said I'd be there within a half hour,8:30am. Dropped off dirty laundry. She asked ,"what time do you want to pick up?" I said ,"late afternoon if no time this morning." She said,"How about between 1-2pm?" I hesitated,then she said," how bout if I call you when they are ready?" "Great idea!" She called me in the morning,"they are ready for pick-up." I picked up clothes,which were all in two bags,nicely,neatly,professionally folded! I tipped her well. We got back to our hotel,and clothes were folded and as soft as "the back-side of a pillow!" Very impressive!! Arnold Schwarzenegger said it best , "I'll be bock!"

Amazing service!! I was having problems with my zero turn. My grass was high and I was getting the…read morerun around. No return phone calls and it could take a while to get it back. THEN I contacted this business and felt like I went back in time to when people mattered and customer service was top priority. They promptly returned my calls and not only that but they came and picked my mower up fixed it and brought it back to me. They got it on a Monday and brought it back fixed on Wednesday!! The carburetor was bad and they asked if I'd like them to put on a carburetor they had that was like new off of a mower they had salvaged. That saved me $50. I was expecting a bill of a couple hundred dollars for the pickup delivery and fix, I couldn't believe what they charged I don't know how they do it. It was half of what I was expecting. This business is the best and they go out of their way to take care of the customer. What a different world this would be if everyone had this work ethic and care for their customers. It sounds like I'm laying it on heavy but I put a lot of value in the opinions of others on here and when people have been mistreated I avoid those places. I have only the highest accolades for these guys. Look no further and give them a call I promise you won't be sorry.

Located along Broadway just outside downtown Jackson, there is a historical marker here and that's…read morewhat caught my eye. And then the very quiet and peaceful and well kept cemetery. The front of the marker reads, "Major John James (1772-1854) established James Cemetery in 1828 on and around a Native American mound that is the only significant ancient mound remaining in the city of Jackson. The mound is about 70 feet in diameter and nearly six feet tall. In the late 1800s, this mound comprised one point of three ancient mound groups forming a triangular configuration along East Broadway Street, formerly known as James Street. One group was a few hundred feet northeast of here on the Watson farm and a second was just to the northwest on the Warnicke farm. These mounds were built by the Hopewell Culture, prominent in southern Ohio from about 100 BC to 400 AD. Major James, his wife, and several immediate family members are buried on the mound including Jackson County pioneers Andrew Long, Daniel Hoffman, and David Mitchell." And the reverse, "John James arrived in Marietta in 1788 with his parents and siblings, some of the first settlers of the Northwest Territory. His father was a member of Rufus Putnam's Ohio Company and the family lived in a blockhouse near Belpre. In 1791, his brother William was one of twelve settlers killed at the Big Bottom Massacre, a tragedy that touched off the Indian Wars. During that time, the James family retreated to what became Blennerhassett Island in the Ohio River, where they built another blockhouse, later bought by Harman Blennerhassett who built a mansion nearby in 1798. Major James became a renowned Indian scout and explored what would become Jackson County. He settled here in 1807 and as a prominent salt boiler became for a time the "proprietor" of the Salt Licks. He went on to become an early Ohio legislator and the first treasurer of Jackson County." Marker number 6-40 was erected in 2007 by Jackson County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society, Carl Coyan Companies, Stockmeister Enterprises, City of Jackson, Time Warner Cable, and The Ohio Historical Society.
