After trying everything I could find online I decided to contact Licensed to Chill. I was transferred to Chris. He could not have been nicer and more helpful and patient with me. Over the phone on what I'm sure is a busy day for him, he talked me through the things I should look for. Essentially it came down to a float plug in my HVAC unit that had gotten some water in it causing it to stop the system. Turned out to be a simple fix but I would have had no clue if it wasn't for Chris. Really can't thank you enough Chris. If anything goes wrong in the future with my system,, I will definitely be reaching out to Licensed to Chill

It did the first 2 times - 3'time not . They wanted 500 dollars to come out on weekend and 150 dollars to open service center to get part. When i pushed back and stated it shouldnt be so much and they should have fixed on the first 2 times under full warranty they refused. So just fyi not a company that stands by their work. And over charges. I called 2 other local companys and both will come out on weekend for 135 plus parts. Part is under warranty so u do the math.

I also sent them a picture of the actual unit inside. They said they will send a tech to view an outside unit so they'll be able to identify which unit the inside actually is. I texted them to re confirm the unit and they were confident with everything & sent an invoice. I then applied for a 0 % credit offer through Eternity's program to finance the unit. I got approved after a hard credit inquiry and on the day of install, they said they cannot replace the AC unit because they dont service that type of AC unit. Instead of admitting fault, they also made excuses that the original unit was modified, etc after the tech viewed it, I then asked him to send pictures. When the pictures were not sent they said building didnt allow them in. In essence, they lied about seeing the actual unit on install day. I then asked them to assist me with reversing the hard credit inquiry and they did not respond or do anything to assist. This hard inquiry dropped my score by around 10 points! This company is very unprofessional and dis honest.

The installation is the most professional in our park as far as I can determine. The Techs showed up on time on the appointed date, had all the equipment and tools they required for the job and began their chore. As far as I could tell I'm not sure if they took a lunch break but the job took all of the work day. They ran into a configuration change that they hadn't planned on- placing the mounting pad on the current pavers. So the pavers were modified for the job and the install completed. I would recommend First Charlotte to anyone looking for a fair deal and pro install.

They were very diligent at finding the correct system for my application. the installers were very professional and courteous. I just had the final inspection done and as the inspector came up to my house he informed me that he had just been to three other jobs done by their competitors and all three jobs had failed the inspection. Brian the AC technician showed up on time, gave me an estimate on a new unit, also offered a temporary fix until we decide if we want to replace our unit. My AC was running in 5 minutes!!!! He said the temporary solution might work for a few days or maybe for a year if we are lucky. He was the first to even offer to spend the time to try to fix it! I'm so HAPPY!!! My house is cool again even if it is a temporary fix we least tried to get it fixed instead of replacing the whole unit rigt away. He also gave us a lower estimate for a same brand unit than the big ac companies. His honesty and knowledge assured me that he is the guy to go with even if we need to replace the the unit. I recommend using B&D for your AC repairs. A few weeks ago my upstairs A/C was being examined at the start of its semi-annual checkup. The associate notified me that the air handler in the attic was dropping its insulation from within, and this would create a problem with continuing the standard semi-annual checkup. This necessitated scheduling an associate on a different day to basically rebuild the air handler. Understandably this was a long project through the day but was completed to our satisfaction. QUALITY: The different associates whom we have seen over a long period of time have been exceptionally professional and courteous. VALUE: Everyone decides what they describe as value. For us it's the confidence that our A/C units will work through the summer and winter year after year. Having a service agreement gives us that peace of mind. SUMMARY: These people have demonstrated exceptional courtesy (every phone call is a new pleasant greeting, every time). One has to have trust in the service people with whom they do business. For me, these people are very highly recommended.
