UPDATE: I got what I…read morewanted and what I KNEW was in the best interest of my children. I thought it was settled, nope. My Ex filed again for the exact same thing, EXACT same thing. I sent it over to Mike (this time, more irritated than worried). I KNOW I'm in good hands, I stressed alot less after having him. We finally appeared for the judge to decide if we need to go to trial again, Mike shut it down immediately. He was slick and smooth and knew exactly what to use. It was literally magic. No shit. I had to literally jump for joy once the court room's doors closed. Mike was happy that I was happy and I saw it right then and there, he gave a shit. Not only cause WE won but because he made his client happy. I've heard horror stories about Lawyers costing people an arm & a leg and still not being happy with results. That wasn't the case- Mike was very reasonable and honest. I appreciate that. He was very upfront about the costs of things and didn't bs around it. I'm VERY happy with what I received and it was worth every penny. He truly does provide quality service. All BS aside, Mike knows what he's doing. Stop stressing, make your life easier and just hire him. You WON'T regret it. I promise! Now understand this is in the courts hands and all depends on the mood the judge wakes up in but Mike is your best fucking chance. He will ALWAYS be my go to. ALWAYS. Thanks again Mike, for everything! I can't tell you how much I appreciate you

We're talking about a U.S. Army Lt. Colonel who survived the jungles of Vietnam. In a word, Donald wins. And his legal fees are reasonable. Donald doesn't not nickel and dime like many other lawyers. He'll give you a fee and all the courtroom appearances, phone calls, letters written, photo copies, etc. are under that umbrella. If you have a moment of pause on the legal fees, look at this way -what would be cost of judgements that don't go your way. Donald successfully thwarted opposing lawyer attempts for me to pay their client's legal fees. That alone save me tens of thousands of dollars. He won monetary judgements for me that I had not asked. What you're getting with Mr. Daugherty is client honesty, solid legal knowledge, and decades of daily courtroom experience. Donald cares about his clients and he wins. We were able to come to a divorce agreement through mediation with a judge and not through the courts. I'm very happy and grateful for her and that the process is over with!

I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for trustworthy and humane legal advice.

The firm found a reason to bill me for another 1.5 hours and then sued me (the client they ruined) for that small amount and then tried to initiate proceedings to take what little I had left in the world after their incompetence ruined us financially. After all of that, they tried to get me to remove my review. When I didn't, they retaliated further. They have earned their reputation for working harder against their clients than for them. The WORST law group for bankruptcy!…read more I've had a very disappointing experience with this law group throughout my bankruptcy process. My experience has been that Scott wasted my time, didnt provide needed information, didnt give me statements or proper notice of changes, didnt pay attention to information I needed to be aware of and ends up putting me more in debt and in more hardship. When I asked him how it happened or why I wasnt informed, he claims he doesnt know and refers me to speak to the debtors who cant speak to me because they can only legally speak to or provide info to the attorney. Then Scott claims he didnt receive statement's or information. When I let him know I needed to talk to him, he responds via email and doesnt call me. When I call the law group to escalate over him, they tell me they cant but I can speak to him. DONT USE THIS LAW GROUP as they cause clients to be more debt, they dont care about your finances or getting back up on your feet. There is no value or good outcome to using this firm. Scotts paralegal even stated he's used to people who are more hands off .... interpretation: he does the least amount of work possible and takes your money. When I did complain to him about not being detailed or ethically providing me the information and resources he is required to and is needed, he petitioned to drop from the case. I had a 30-45 min consult with another lawyer after he said he was positioning to drop my case, who I received more information and knowledge from than I have the 2 years with Scott. Scott claims to be experienced and knowledgeable, but he's not. FYI getting a new lawyer will cost you more money, and probably at an hourly rate instead of the flat fee one lawyer managing your case would be. With him dropping clients who speak up about his failure to support them, he's putting people in a worse position if anything comes up during the bankruptcy that a lawyer is needed for, and again costing even more money.
