(Previously 1 Star for following experience) A call back received by a legal assistant after an email inquiry into their services today lacked compassion. Impression given there's a lack of training, experience or compassion on how to communicate with potential clients when they have mentally and physically disabling condition (PTSD etc) Not more than a few breaths into call was directly asked what Trauma I'd gone through. Immediately felt pressured to respond and give an example of such trauma. Their response was "Not good enough example, you need different type of attorney" Too late. Had to end call as it triggered an a panic attack, accelerated heart, was lost for words, Sweat through clothes in bed, and had to take medicine and reach out to caregiver for support. When reaching out for services it was made clear my inquiry was for a disability attorney to ease torture of battling of STD company and employer attempting to trying (documented) to end benefits and employment while on approved disability leave and before it's end date. Solution: More Compassion, Empathy, Listening, Training and kinder approach to people whom physically and mentally are not able to handle stressors. A website that reflects what they don't do as their website highlights their accomplishments and abilities yet their first point of contact wasn't positive, healing or conducive to peace. I had a workplace injury a few years ago and the employer tried to stop me from getting an operation to fix my shoulder pain. Mr. Landau got the operation approved and also got me a good settlement. My granddaughter had a brain injury at college. While working a job after classes, she had a concussion, and was having lots of trouble.
