They've done a great job at branding and the colours & furniture are really stylish which makes your visit there comfortable. And with the cool music playing as well as super lovely staff, they've got their place happening. As far as food, this isn't something I can comment on. It appears very "fancy" on the menu, and pricey. Because of it's location, it's excellent for all-day patronage but it's not somewhere people will travel to for dinner so they should probably adjust their menu a little to suit a coffee-shop/lunch menu and the prices to match. And in a city with many coffee shops, it can be very difficult to find a great one. Luckily for me, Platform 3 is here. Even though I need to walk for 5 minutes and past another 5 coffee places, knowing that its always good coffee makes it a no-brain-er. Not only do they have a fantastic brew (none of that fancy stuff ....they just work on the coffee taste) but you can also get a homemade vegetable and meat sausage roll to really kick start your morning. You may think, wow this is a really great way to start the day, but it gets even better. They also cater for lunch and after work drinks. After a hard days work and feeling exhausted, its great to know that a fully licensed bar, couches to lounge on and a kitchen to indulge your appetite, are just steps away for you to relax before you need to take that journey home. And being open until 10pm on Thursday and Fridays makes it a great place to chill out before moving on into the city.

It's not as good as the branch in the CBD but it's good enough and located in the suburbs! The chicken is tasty and moist - sometimes they add a little too much sauce so the chicken is drenched in it. At times the chicken isn't as hot as I'd like but otherwise a good feed when craving fried chicken. I'd try the whole chicken off the bone next time! The ginger beer is also really good there! and it's alcoholic (very little) but great to have while eating fried chicken. There's a waitress there that is always happy and cheerful which makes the atmosphere more enjoyable!
