They state on their website that they have 72 lanes with half for small pins and half of them for regular pin bowling. There were lanes and shoes readily available for our group of 4. The cons is that the place is showing its age--everything is old. The shoes, the machines, the balls, etc. The balls are pretty dinged up with dents in them. For the regular pin bowling, they didn't have many lighter balls. Most of them were very heavy. But that wasn't the problem--it's the fact that all the bowling balls were disgustingly greasy! People eat and put their greasy paws on the balls and it looks like the staff don't clean the balls. Since I've not gone bowling for at least a dozen years, I don't recall ever playing with greasy bowling balls. Can anyone tell me if this is the norm? We all enjoyed the small pin bowling so it was cool that there were plenty of lanes available for that. To switch lanes, you need to request that at the counter. I would go back but would bring some Lysol wipes to clean the balls before playing.

Went to play games it was booked due to an event…read more Had to go upstairs. They were very understaffed. Messed up the order for the wings and received no veggies for them which sucked. Took 45 minutes for a poutine didn't make my movie that's how long it took. Sauce was extremely salty. Barely any curdes but the fries were fantastic. The tv where we sat kept spazzing out had to ask the lady to turn it off I was gonna have a seizure. The place has potential just need better communication in the kitchen and someone watching the floor for new people walking in.

Unfortunately this place aint it and is just a mess. Sad to say save your time and money. There are exposed wires, water dripping from ceilings, lot of arcade machines not working and general dirtiness you wouldn't expect from a business this large. Case in point the bathrooms were just smelling absolutely disgusting, one of those smells you'll never forget type deal. The staff, while they tried to be friendly were pretty useless. Either on their phones or distracted and even then unable to answer basic questions like whats the phone number....... There is a restaurant and bar area, but they are carpeted which is just gross and dumb. Who carpets a bar and food area...... the service was slow, food was okay but took way too long but the portions were big. Drinks were all mediocre but service and quality really weren't there. Also its pretty dark for some reason in that area. There are a lot of TVs though so it might be good for just watching the game, if you are gonna be there for a couple of hours waiting 45 mins for a burger and pizza isn't as bad. Mini golf was pretty cool, never seen anything like that before but there is lke an annoying block at every hole that makes swinging more awkward than needed. And our ball got stuck on a hole but all in all I would say that was the best experience we had there. The Lawn bowling Club in Verdun where we rented to have Kloey's 1st birthday turned out to be great…read morebut we rented between 1:00pm-5:00pm and during this, the owners tried rushing us to be out by 4, the other party was booked for 6pm and they allowed them to come in and decorate the hall at 3:40pm while we were celebrating Kloey's 1st birthday. All week she has be calling my dauther to see if she would allow the other party to put up their decorations while in her time slot ans my daughter refused! Bravo! I will never again rent from the lawn bowling in Verdun!!! The owners were very unproffessional as they were pushing us out and strangers coming in with ladders to put up their decorations!!!! Also through out the party they kept asking us" Can you make sure you are out by 4:00pm" We paid till 5:00pm I held my tongue!! I will never ever rent that crappy hole of a place they call " Lawn Bowling in Verdun" And on top of that, while the kids were outside playing, they had there workers mowing the lawn and using the whipper snipper.. then yelling at the kids to stay of the lawn!!! I rate this: A hole in the ground!
