They recently added axe throwing, which turned out to be a highlight of our visit. The staff was wonderful -- great instruction, high energy, and made the experience fun and comfortable even for first-timers. The food deserves a mention too. The house-made pizza was genuinely delicious -- not typical "fun center food," but pizza you'd happily order anywhere. And as a mom, I especially appreciated the coffee! They have an impressive selection made with high-end equipment, which was very welcome while keeping up with the kids. Everything was clean, organized, and the staff throughout the facility was friendly and helpful. This is a great place for families with teens and anyone looking for a fun outing. The other side is older. Quieter. Calmer side to practice on. It can get crowded on Thursdays so definitely reserve a lane. Just be careful of the children that are bowling too. Their spatial awareness isn't always the best. Also a lot of kids during the school year. Be prepared for erratic activity and sounds. It can really break your concentration sometimes. Overall, though, it is a pretty good place to bowl.

When I went there the first time, the guy at the counter couldn't be any nicer. The bowling alley is old. Doesn't show speed your bowling at. At least when I've gone to practice that wasn't an option. But it's great for experimenting new techniques for bowling. You can also learn from watching the more experienced bowlers and league bowlers that come in to practice. The negatives: it can feel cramped. The return for the bowling balls sounds like an old wooden roller coaster. Sometimes you end up bowling next to people that don't have a clue. During specials it can get crowded with a lot of people and children that don't understand lane etiquette. Just be careful when bowling next to a party like that. For safety, it would be a huge improvement if Devon Lanes posted lane etiquette rules.

Years ago I'd come here with my coed soccer team, we would use 3-4 lanes. I can't recall what the special was then, but it was a bargain and we saved a lot of money as it's BYOB and BYOF. We would bring a cooler and some hoagies and have a blast. Went back with a smaller group last night, Thursday 4/4/24 and relived the good times. Thursday is a $10 unlimited bowling special, which is a tremendous value and a very popular special. The place was packed by 9:00 and people were waiting for lanes. It was nice to see a new generation of people out there ready to roll, we saw one group of 15, they had a few cases of beer with them and were definitely enjoying themselves. They have around 30 lanes, ~15 on each side of the alley. The equipment worked perfectly for us all night. Didn't have any trouble on our lane, nor did I see anyone around us need assistance. We bowled on the "dark" side, with black lights and such, but you could opt to bowl on the other side in normal lighting. Music sounded good on their sound system as they looped the new album. Staff was great, they were very friendly and helpful despite the place being really crowded. The album release was a lot of fun and the staff enjoyed the change of pace too I think. Although there were a lot of regulars there it was fun seeing the other Black Keys fans who came for the event. Great marketing idea and I'm so happy Devon Lanes was selected to host it!

They seem to do the fries well here as I've been able to nibble from a friend's before and my own dish was good. It did take awhile to be put together, but I was okay with that as I wasn't in a hurry. Also, the extra time probably helped for the quality to be enhanced. It was typical arcade quality, but it was well done. They only have one working regular DDR machine currently, and sometimes now, I have to wait behind other(s) even during weekday evenings. They updated their prize store currently- I see more neon signs which I think is a good choice, it looks like more game system choices are available, and they still have an automatic vacuum cleaner which I believe is the most expensive ticket item in the prize store currently. My age is showing at this place because I always lose my marbles at the Castlevania machines. They have at least 2 or 3 StepManias here. There's a good variety of claw type machines, regular Japanese based games, and a few regular US type arcade games.

I live in FL and this was not possible. After explaining the detailed story to the staff, Kelly agreed to send me the gift cards in the mail rather than send a little boy with a receipt.
