Refreshing. Mixed well without being over the top. Exactly what you want while spending a few hours competing with friends and laughing between shots. The staff kept everything moving, checked in regularly, and made sure we had what we needed without interrupting the fun. The atmosphere was energetic but never chaotic. Whether you're a serious golfer or have never picked up a club, it's the kind of place where everyone ends up having a great time. I'm talking from tee, through the fairways, and spotty greens with poa Anna sprigs all over every green. The layout is awesome but the course is terrible. I found out they haven't had a greens guy in four years and it shows. Traps are terrible, terrible grass conditions on the tee boxes and fairways. I hope they get it back but I won't be back until I hear they are back in the shape I knew of them when I was a member.

The Tempura Fried Fish Filets were wayyy over cooked (dark brown and brittle), the string beans and sliced carrot were tooo salty, the roasted turkey and garlic mashed potatoes were decent, and peach cobbler was just okay. Having organized many business seminars on the west coast (and one of sisters owned an event planning company in Los Angeles) I would suggest that you request a tasting, if possible. Or maybe this place needs to just get a new chef. Not sure what was going on with the ladies room. It appeared clean but wreaked of urine(?). I am a super clean person and having owned a business with public bathrooms ... odors mean something was not sanitized correctly(with bleach solution). Back to the positive side of things... The food presentation was nice as was the dining area. Table was set up nicely. However, there was only one water glass per setting (no glass for the pitchers of tea and lemonade?). Neither were there dessert plates, salad forks or spoons in the setups? Never seen this before(?) I drank up my water to empty the glass to try one of the other drinks on the table. Same with my fork. I kept the same fork to eat my salad and dinner. There was a dessert fork above the place setting but you had to plate the dessert (peach cobbler) onto your dinner plate as you went through the buffet line. Never seen this before(?) So, the bottom line as in any event you plan you'll have to work very closely with the catering manager. I would ask specifics about your place settings and food. Nice facility though.

Recently I visited for a Women In Business event hosted by the Augusta Chamber of Commerce. They used two of the spaces, which were decorated beautifully. They used one room for a pre-reception and bar area. The other space was where the main event took place. The venue is spacious. I believe the catering is in-house. We enjoyed the meal. If they are in-house they were prepared with vegetarian options, which is always a plus. There is plenty of parking in front and behind the venue. It can be hard exiting the venue parking lot, but it won't take too much time. This is a great place for weddings, upscale events.

With our two boys, there really isn't a bad seat in the house--the energy, the music, the cheering, and all the excitement make every game feel special. Our favorite nights are definitely the fireworks games. There's something so magical about ending a summer night at the ballpark with fireworks lighting up the sky. Add in hot dogs, popcorn, an ice-cold beer, and all the classic "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" traditions, and it feels like pure Americana. I especially love that baseball is such a generational experience--the kind of simple, joyful family tradition you remember from childhood and then get to experience all over again through your own kids. They have a large industrial kitchen that we used to prepare some of the food and the extra large kitchen space made decorating her birthday cake and cake pops stress free. The tables and chairs were included in the rental price and a bar cart was available that we used for mocktails. We were allowed access to the facility the day before to decorate and the checkout list was not ridiculous. The conference room is large and was able to accommodate a cake table, a Dj station, mocktail bar, food table, gift table, teepee/play area for the kids and have enough room for a dance floor. There are cabins available for rent at the campground and we rented one so we weren't driving back and forth to our house in Grovetown multiple times and it gave us a place to shower and get ready for the party. Friends and family pulled their campers into the campground and camped for the weekend which made it easier for them as well.
