It is a little loud here (when you throw the ball the lane is a bit loud) but overall a great place! There was a small problem once in a while the lanes would reset in the middle of your turn but staff would fix it right away! Staff was very kind a helpful. Pretty good place to go out with your family for a fun night!

They did have a place where you could get food, but I was unable to. The place was nice and decorated, there also seemed to be an arcade of some sorts there as well. The lanes were very nice in my opinion! The machines sometimes didn't give you your ball back but employees were quick to get it for you. The employees here were also nice and very helpful. If you live nearby this would be a fun place to go and play.

Easily one of the coolest hidden gems in Metro Detroit!…read more This place is amazing! I have wanted to visit for a long time, but I live almost on hour away on the other side of Metro Detroit. I had the day off, and decided to make the trek out. Spark's is located inside a bowling alley, and utilizes a space that I think was once where the pool tables were (there are still two pool tables within the museum). Sparks is LOADED with tons of pinball machines, ranging from the 1960s through today, it really gives you a great exhibition on the evolution of pinball. Each machine also has a cool placard with information about the significance of the machine. There are also cool historic signs on the walls from places that are long gone, including Major Magic's, which holds a special place in my heart since I went there a lot as a kid. Spark's also has many classic 80's arcade games. The bar connected to it is great and the machines have cup holders attached to them so you have a spot for your drink as you play. I thought I'd spend an hour max in here and ended up staying for two hours....and I only left because I needed to get home. If this place was closer to be, I'd be here often. I hope to make it back soon. Hopefully with some friends for a fun, unique night of pinball.

Lots of machines to choose from, with descriptors and convenient cup holders. Our only caveat, according to my 13yo: "They should have a more advanced card-to-coin machine or card readers on the pinball machines." Agreed--tho it wld put a crimp in the old-timely mystique. I rarely carry cash and I didn't see anywhere in advance (maybe I missed it?) that I needed singles or fives instead of a credit card to get quarters... So come prepared. They do have an ATM machine. (I don't have an ATM card these days, and my debit card wouldn't work.) Next time we'll bring the jingle. PS: There are a few pool tables, too--quarters only.
