I reallllly enjoyed my dinner at Bowie, and so did the rest of our group Their menu is pretty vegetarian/ pescatarian friendly. I ordered all four of the vegetable dishes on the menu, and all were impeccable. The drinks were also tasty and unique. I'm surprised this place isn't more we known/ busy. I definitely recommend it!

Beautiful restaurant located on a side street with an open patio that was perfect for a drink. My michelada with extra lime was delicious and who can go wrong with Patron tequila? The guacamole was made table side by our waiter and was chunky and made with chiles, radish, cilantro, and plenty of lime. It was served with a basket of toasted corn tortillas which were perfect for dipping. The elote was a bit underwhelming as it had WAY TOO much of the spicy mayo sauce slathered on it and the kernals weren't so meaty. Be sure to ask for the sauce on the side!

Many, many times as an outsider, a spectator, i walked past Bowie Cocina and wondered what made it stand apart from say, any other restaurant, cocina, establishment? There are many little details that do stand out and that are worth noticing. First, the service, despite the complete hurried, upstart, and typical environment you'd expect of the ritziest restaurant found in Lomas, Polanco, and San Angel, the service is superb and attentive ot every movement within its doors. The variety of different textures is unique, example - the pumpkin pie, in the form of yes, cheese sticks, was - I was wondering if I ordered the wrong thing. Tempted to order the marshmallows that are cooked in front of you in a fast mode of Smores-over-a-fire, I am so satisfied with a pumpkin pie you can only imagine, but the taste as sweet with the cinnamon, you realize the texture is 100% different than any other location you could get pumpkin pie. The pechuga de pavo torta style and Guacamole definitely hit the spot, and you get to love the location as the traffic moves past you and you are able to take in a exquisite experience, fancy, yet relaxing, amid a hurried rhythm that is able to escape your table.

This place is a jewel tucked on a little side street of La Roma neighborhood in CDMX. Perfect vibe and a smoked menu that steps outside of the expected and serves it up with creativity and a twist, perhaps that's the reason behind the joint's name? Didn't ask. Back to the food... if you eat meat, try the bone marrow tacos, one portion is enough for two and you will brag to everyone about how good it was. Then wash it down with the mean cocktails on the menu or just let the bartender surprise you, you won't regret it. Salud!

Cool oldies (blues music) in the background.

Fantastic service! We randomly stumbled across this restaurant while walking through Roma. We were welcomed with open arms, they were patient with us because of the language barrier. Sergio was SUPER helpful...we will definitely be back!!! Check out the pictures!!!!

Elote with fiery husk and smoky/ spicy mayo!

A real surprise and treat in Roma. Many drinks and dishes with a hint of smoke nuanced a delicious meal. We started with Pulpo ceviche in (I think..) a squid ink sauce that was sublime, spicy, tender, and beautifully balanced. My 24 hr cooked short rib was divine but my Wife's fish and chips- with a squid mayonnaise redefined the dish's name. The accent of elote with a fiery husk and spicy chipotle mayo was again redefining. We finished with bunuelos ( creatively named?) crispy sweet fried strips with dollops of black cherry flavored chocolate. Pricing is a terrific value, music excellent, and another memorable CDMX foodie experience!

We had to wait quite awhile (maybe 20 minutes) at the front for a table to open up, but there was plenty of décor to photograph in the meantime. We were escorted upstairs. Our bench table overlooked the rest of the venue. So colorful and breathtaking!! Love all the Instagrammable plant walls with neon lights. The menu for this place is insane. So many different vendors to order from. The waitress came by, and I gave my partner the freedom to order a cocktail for me. And our shared food, for that matter. The cocktail was pretty good. I'm especially obsessed with the stylish mug it came in. For dinner, we shared a Brazilian dish containing stredded beef, black beans, white rice, egg, yucca, and plantains. SOOOO delicious. My mouth waters just writing this review. Service is great but slow as expected in CDMX. Overall I can't wait to come back and try many more menu items!!

We were served blue corn tostadas with a few different sauces - all of which were tasty, especially the spicy creamy green one. We then ordered appetizers to share. All were tasty but hands down my favorite item was the pulpito. The octopus was so tender and went perfect with the little potatoes. I also really liked the rib eye tacos which came with the best red spicy sauce and the tiradito which is a campachi Crudo. From the cebiche tasting platter (no photo), I liked the atun the most. Of course we ordered desserts as well. I actually cannot remember the names but will comment on them with the attached photos. One I' didn't get a photo of was a chocolate dessert. It was very good but rich. If you're in the neighborhood I suggest trying this spot out.

This was honestly one of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever been to. I loved how each section of the restaurant had a different vibe, and how there were both indoor and outdoor options available. On the service front, everyone was so wonderful and welcoming. I especially appreciated how knowledgeable our sommelier was when considering drink pairings throughout the meal. The staff also gave us a tour of the kitchen at the end, which I loved. On the food front, this was certainly an experience. The menu had a mix of land, sea, and even insects, with incredibly beautiful plating and creative presentation. The weakest dish for me was the "campfire" corn with crickets, and not because of the insects, but because it was way too smoky that the other flavors couldn't shine. The Wagyu main was excellent, and certainly something I will be thinking about for a while. Overall, this was a 4.8/5 experience, and would recommend trying it out at least once in your life. The restaurant is so beautiful it's absolutely worth a visit, and I hope to return soon to try their taco omakase.

Beautiful, much bigger, multiple rooms, and from the back you can watch the kitchen work. Loved that. Service was polished. Sommelier was nice but did not have the storytelling magic the Quintonil one did. Food was good, sometimes great. The opening botanas and that almond soup with pineapple escabeche? Best bites of the night. Neighboring tables were also gushing. Mains were where it slipped. My husband had the Wagyu in mole and I had the chicken. Chicken was weirdly under-seasoned. Wagyu was tasty but absolutely drowning in mole. The famous 2,900-day mole madre is a moment, sure, more interesting than delicious. Tortillas with it were perfect. My cheese flan was a miss. I barely ate it. My husband's guava tamal was much better. Kitchen sent a tiramisu for our anniversary which was a sweet touch and actually great. Beautiful restaurant. Solid meal. Just not the knockout I expected at this level. Four stars. Bill was about half of Quintonil though so no regrets.
